- In today's video, we look at a couple tiny home options that are potentially really inexpensive! You keep asking for cheaper options and today we deliver!
These are 400 square foot expandable container modular homes. They are on auction at an auction company near us. PRICES QUOTED AT TIME OF FILMING ARE ONLY CURRENT HIGH BIDS ONLY AND WILL GO UP! Details below on how to bid, if interested.
At their core, they are 20 foot containers, but they are built with expanding walls, floors and roof. The expanded unit is approximately 20 x 19 feet and have two bedrooms, a bathroom and a main room. Minimal electrical package, sink and cabinet and commode are included. The homes have 8 windows and a glass door with side windows. The homes have a galvanized steel structure with sandwich panel walls.
Currently, as of 4/12/24 at 2pm CDT US, the auction company has five of these units up for auction. Current leading bids are ranging from $2400-3400 USD. The auction ends at 7pm CDT US on Thursday, April 18, 2024. The auction is online. You can view the auction and register to bid at:

We really want to see more foldable homes like this. The proble is they aren't as prevalent in the eastern US as the west!

I just watched the Japanese manufacturing firm's RUclips video on the assembly of this exact home in under 15 minutes using six men and installation of all windows.
Did they seal up the box so weather does not ruin it.?
Where can I view it?
Other then electric or plumbing, I saw 6men do the initial set up in less then a hour.

It is very nice concept. I wonder how may outlets it has. I gues there will be some cost to add kitchen, shower, electric, and plumbing. ITH has smaller units but require less set up. ITH a lot more expensive. I guess if someone has land with nonrestrictive permitting it is perfect.
Yes these would be ideal for someone willing to do some DIY work. As a DIYer myself, I don't see a ton of added cost to add a kitchen, more electrical, and the plumbing needed. Big box stores have cabinets in the range of $200-400 each, a counter is about $400, and plumbing parts are still cheap. Electrical is not bad either. ITH has great units that fit their purpose in certain situations and for certain people. We are just looking at and exploring different options ourselves and for our viewers. Thanks for watching!

The base frame is a steel container and it weighs 7000 pounds. If you anchor it to a concrete foundation it should do fairly well.

Much more to offer in an incredibox! Plus they can be parked in other comunities, besides New Port. Great value, land is less expensive in Tenn. You don't have to get 8x16. Just had a special on 8x24' for just 25k! Don't knock other companies, it just makes you look bad!, Mr Chubby!
@lonsomDov-uy7gg I'm not trying to knot any companies they were using I.T.H as an example so I pointed out some things that they offered,don't accuse someone until you know the facts, Chubby,God bless
ITH may have xyz but you also have to pay a large “lot fee” and your monthly lot rent to live in their community and some of the communities are not finished being developed even though people have already paid for their home 1,23,4 years ago and are still waiting! This gives others options of other companies that can build just as good or better than ITH.

These are nice for DIY people, but the cost to install a decent kitchen, mini split, shower (doesn't look like there is enough room to stand under a shower), doors, washer and dryer hook ups, put on a trailer, and the cost of having it hauled. I would much rather have an ITH already finished with all the amenities, and they will haul for you. Someone is always selling their home that is already on a lot.
You can live in an airport bathroom too, hard to tell the difference. Breathe deep and take in the off-gassing from the Chinese made insulated panels lol...
We're not going to live in an airport bathroom lol! Unfortunately many products are made with overseas components or made overseas anyway. Likely the TV, phone, or computer you watch RUclips on is made somewhere in Asia.

At ITH. The Incredibox 2.0 has no divets or whatever there called. Those divots were because they were using for remnants. Not putting down these or anything, just stating facts.

Did you say 3400 for starting bid
3400 was the bid when we made the video. The auction was completed on the 18th of April. I think they didn't go for that much more - maybe in the 3500-4500 range as the winning bids.
I don’t see how that bath can be a wet room when there is a cabinet in there.

This one was at an auction so the price was not established. I think there were 2 or 3 of them up for auction and they were at $3200-$3500 when we were there. I believe they sold around $7000-$8000. They can be directly purchased from Amazon for $13-20k depending upon options and features.

No, not in this unit. As explained, the foldable style of this particular builder and unit is not set up for a kitchen. An IKEA style kitchen could be added without much issue. or even the basic cabinets from Lowe's or Home Depot.

This isn't a $20k sardine can - oh wait - Randy "Jesus" Jones changed the price AGAIN - although 20 people just signed a contract at $20k and wont be refunded any money - oh wait, he just got rid of rivets and upgraded panels so the price went up again - not the square footage - nor is anyone allowed to say anything negative about the company, community or cult. Save your comments for the laud and praise committee on their channel. Petty and childish to go to someone else's channel and call them petty and childish. They're big boys over at ITH. They can handle some comparisons and criticism, although it gets their converts butts in their mouth. They don't need their converts trolling the internet singing their praises. They're so "transparent" they won't even allow anyone to videotape their models. They control every single aspect of everything. I've found people like that are either control freaks, narcissistic or have something to hide; or some combination of all three.

Sorry for Mr Snarky coming out. Don’t really have issues with ITH it’s just that their cult like followers will go to any lengths to badmouth anyone not drinking the Kool Aid and our issue is more with the fanatics than ITH. You should check out our latest video and read all the comments if you want a better picture. ITH now has comment moderation on and you can’t post a comment unless it glorifies them.
