All because he knew he would soon get fired for coming late to work every day, so he decided it'd be better to destroy the whole workplace and live off the insurance or something.

But then when you go in the beginning level "Anomalous Materials', you find Gman and a scientist discussing something but it is not heard. What probably has been discussed was that to turn the rotors to 105 (above the safety). Of course some of the scientists were against this.
Honestly considering the combine's possible ignorance of human grammars and sentence structures this sounds like what they'd think sounds like base human languages. *Combine:* BEER. Eats reactor, aliens, scary, reasonable scientist. This is not good?! Yes!! *[confused alien sounds]*
