Hi I got the Chantecaille foundation in the shade Vanilla. It is great but I would recommend anyone who buys this to go and get shade matched as it is nearly impossible to tell your shade match online. Thx for the video as always!!

I use the Sublimage la Teint foundation. It also comes with a brush. It is a very comfortable foundation throughout the day. It is like wearing a skin care product, besides I use it over the other Sublimage products and I think Ally that it is the best way to use it because it magnifies the results. 😘😘😘

I love the one from Chantecaille. It works well for me in the summer when I’m oily and in the winter when I’m dry. I just change up my moisturizers based on what I need. It’s the ONLY foundation I have that matches me skin tone perfectly
Oh, I agree w/you....my skin is very dry in the winter and more combo in the summer & the Chantecaille Future Skin is ideal year around for me- it’s extremely rare to find that in a foundation.👍🏻😊 I’m also thrilled that there’s no detectable fragrance in Future Skin....there’s just no need for it.
Hello! 💕 Thank you for doing this comparison video 👍 I’m definitely curious about the Chantecaille foundation especially if you find that it’s more hydrating than the Sublimage. I honestly wasn’t even familiar with the Chantecaille brand when I made the decision to purchase the Sublimage foundation... I do really like the Sublimage foundation but I find that I have to be careful and use a light hand otherwise it does look heavy (and dry) on my skin, so perhaps the Chantecaille foundation would be a nice alternative for certain occasions. Hi there! 🥰 I'm glad you liked the video. Both foundations are really nice and the differences are very small. I think you still have a full container of the Sublimage then wait, but if you're looking for a replacement once it's done then the Chantecaille one is great.

Hi Louise! Yes these are rather pricey. I think Chanel is still sold at Macy's and they often do 15% off so it's always good to keep an eye out for that! 🥰
I am currently using Chantecaille one. For me, Chanel's foundations tends to have a too high chroma. It might be an interesting comparison for you if you are to do a Cle de Peau's le fond de teint comparison video as well. I call it a tinted night cream, since it is like a tinted moisturizer but more moisturizing than them. It is quite similar to Chantecaille's one, but with even less coverage and feels more like skincare.
Allie, Both foundations look good on you but on my monitor the Chantecaille is a better color match for your skin. I'm tempted to try the Chantecaille because the Chanel one was too dewy for me, as much as I love Sublimage.
Hi Al, I tried both by now and can confidently say that the Chantecaille future skin foundation can NOT measure up to the Chanel Sublimage, no way. I got it in the Aura shade which is the lightest shade and it still looks more on the dark side (not brightening). The foundation faded easily after 6 hours of wear even with the Chantecaille blur powder. I would not recommend the Chantecaille Future skin foundation, it’s totally a disappointment.
I have tried the sublimage foundation and found it too much for me. I prefer lighter and more luminous or dewy. I did find 2 foundations I do like other than the ultra teint which I love. If you get a chance do try the Sisley photo teint with the zebra top . It is so light and beautiful and lasts . The other one for a dewy look is Surrat dew drop foundation. That is gorgeous. Only drawback it is only 19ml or grams compared to Sisley at 30 grams or 1 ounce. Both worth trying and get 2 thumbs up for me. I prefer a very light coverage and I do not mind showing skin. At my age I cannot do matte finishes looks too drying and personally it ages you even more so I was happy to see these 2 foundations come out. Just a thought to try them.
Hi Hilda! I think I'm more drawn to try the Sisley foundation because it does have more product in it, like you mentioned. I also like my skin to show when I wear foundation. I like it to blur imperfections and keep my skin luminous.
i have tried chantecaille and did a comparision with Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, i find the Chanatecaille to cling to dry patches and is harder to wrok with. i have oily combo dehydrated skin. i still stuck with my trusty vitalumiere aqua

@Allison Chase they are a high end luxury brand that has retail stores in the US and were purchased by Macy’s back in 2015. About 20 Macy’s stores have a bluemercury inside of them in the US but there are also standalone retail bluemercury stores as well. I don’t know if they ship worldwide.

The colour match (as it is our winter at the moment) is actually better than any others that I have tried over the years as it has a bit of a pinkish tone to it but not too much ☺️

I just came across a tip from WA to put some of the WA Lit Up Highlighter on *first* and then go in with the WA Foundation Stick to make it even more flawless, although on you it already looked so perfect and luminous by itself. Thank you for showing this brand, I discovered it only through your video.
Very good comparison. I find the NEW chanel no 1 foundation feels like what i wanted in the sublimage (plump, lush feeling. Sublimage and future were both disappointingly dry), even has the same scent, is 10000x more convenient (i underestimated the struggle with the jar) and instead of gimmick skincare benefits (only Vanilla WATER in sublimage, not extract/oil as in the skincare), the no. 1 actually contains the same camellia oil as its line's Serum.

I think 21 is a new shade added, and I believe it's more yellow than 20. 20 is slightly more pink.

The d&G foundations are very plump, wet/fresh btw. great for dry skin/Glass skin look - sth non of the others achieve
