I’ve been wearing this foundation for around 20 years and it is still my favourite. I get more compliments when I wear it than any other foundations in my “collection”.

I think it’s beautiful and looks so natural on your skin. My skin is drier and I love a lightweight feel.. going to try for a sample like I usually do for the more expensive foundations. It makes a lot of sense that using cream products over a gel foundation would result in it possibly breaking up...thanks for that tip. Great review Mandy; much appreciated 😍

I agree about having a skin match at the counter. I did that yesterday and I would never have thought the shade she picked would have worked on me but it was a perfect match.

Great review!! I really prefer this format where you give your thoughts plus one demo, as long as you have worn it other times long enough to have developed your expert opinion. We all agree first impression + wear test is not helpful enough. And I find wear tests with check-ins to be unnecessary; it's a lot of extra work for you editing that stuff in when you can just tell us your findings. PS. Your skin is absolutely lovely, even with no makeup!

I've been wanting to try this foundation forever. I'm going to have to get a sample since I'm not sure of the color. I'm thinking vanilla but I want to be sure. Looks beautiful and thank you for reviewing this.

This foundation reminds me of the Philosophy gel cream foundation I had and enjoyed for a while. Maybe it’s because that one also came in a pot and the coverage seems similar. I love a gel cream face product for my mature, dry skin. I will think about this one. What I do know is that every single foundation I get on your recommendation turns out to be great.

It is a bit similar for sure. Maybe even a little less coverage than the philosophy. :)

This is my “holy grail” although I hate that term. When my skin is good or bad it works. I do the do my brush in technique as well. Being 46 though transitioned to using creams for blush bronzer and highlighter. I follow Sam Ravndahl’s technique of putting those in first then adding foundation. I find I use less foundation that way so less wrinkle opportunities and my skin looks more natural - for me.

Hi recently bought this because the shade I tried at Bloomingdales was a perfect match (suntan). I ended up getting another two shades lighter in the color wheat to put on top as my concealer.
This is the best to use as concealer...love it so much!

Thank you Mandy, I know Abby loves this too..... I like a semi decent medium coverage and worry about building up on my more mature skin which has lax areas vs a lot of wrinkles??? Worth a sample though. Looks pretty on you as almost any foundation does :) VERY interesting about your comment about the BM foundation. Wishing you and your family a Happy Holidays!

Hi Love your reviews, I find them very helpful even though I am in the older age bracket. I am thinking of getting the Future Skin, I have tried a sample and really liked it. I do find though that all foundation slides off to a certain extent from my t zone. Because I’m in the UK I can’t get the primer you recommend, I was wondering if you could suggest one I can get here that would work well with Future Skin? Thank you so much.

I like the way this looks but I am staying with the Bare Minerals. I just want you to know how much better my eye lashes are looking and the only thing I have added is the J I eye primer before adding other lash primers & mascara. So glad I watched that video! Thanks 🙏

I was going to ask how you liked it compared to the Bare Minerals as they seem very similar so I’m glad you mentioned it. I bought the Bare Minerals after hearing you talk about it and I love it! It gives just enough coverage and doesn’t look like makeup. Now, I’m looking for the perfect concealer, lol.
So glad you love the Bare Minerals! It's is one of my top top base products, and I don't think I will ever be without it.
When ever you say a foundation is very similar the the BMCR, I just ignore the new foundation. ;) My skin is always so happy after wearing the BM so don't find the need. I do hate pot foundations. Many of my favorites are packaged this way so I've started keeping little scoops around. I'm so excited, finally ordered the Chanel powder. I want to know why everyone loves it so. Thanks!

I've used the Bare Minerals and it works really well on my skin. I don't think I'll try this one though especially with the limited colour range. Because of the price, and that it's nigh on impossible to return anything here in the UK, I don't want to run the risk of getting the wrong colour. It does look beautiful on you though 💚.
I think you are completely safe sticking with the Bare Minerals. Glad you love it!

Hi there, I can't remember exactly, but I seem to think it may have been a colourpop palette, which I am sure has been discontinued by now.They tend to have major turnover with their shadows. 😞

Looked like silk on your skin. Have it and love it but still using Drunk Elephant D-BRONZI to get a better color match.

I’m going to have to try the bare minerals one. I absolutely love how future skin wears on me but I just cannot get a color match. The fairest shade is just a tad ghostly on me and the the next couple shades up are just too yellow toned.
Chung-Wen Wang It’s a challenge & I have a similar issue. It’s true, however, that the sheerness of the product allows for a slightly imperfect shade match. I mix Future Skin Foundation in “sand” w/a bit of slightly lighter tinted moisturizer & it’s perfect on my medium-olive skin tone. Really enjoy the gel formula as well....very nice!!😊

@mandydavis love the review! Quick and to the point. Just informed I’m peri-menopausal - needless road say my skin is changing/ dryer - I have using the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer for ever. And have found it’s not hydrating enough and my skin seems to drink it up so blending and highlighting and finishing with powders is a struggle. I read about this product - and appreciated your honest review. Quick question in start of video before you demo are you wearing the product? And are you wearing primer? Cause it doesn’t have an spf do you add one to your routine and what layer? Thank you !

I mix alabaster and chamomile (how much chamomile depends on how tanned or sallow I am at the time ) It’s annoying having to buy two because they’re so expensive, but it’s such a lovely product. It looks great on you too ❤️
