Pregnant with baby #4- during my previous 3 labors, I always felt the need to urinate during almost all of my more intense contractions. I felt like I had to tense to keep from peeing my pants. Oddly enough, sometimes nothing would come out in between contractions or 1 drop and sitting on the toilet would always send me into another contraction, regardless of time since the last contraction. (I had a posterior positioned 10lb, 12 oz baby so maybe that’s why- I was having couplets ??) What do I do about the urinating/ tensing to not pee my pants? Should I just try to let it flow out in order to let the waves come?
Let it flow!!! I would wear depends or similar in labor to catch the pee. Laboring on the toilet is also a great position
*Hi with baby 3 after they broke my water I had so much pain I was not able to walk arround like I wanted, but when I did sit up I went from a 4 to a 7 in 3 minutes, and 3 minutes later he was out (got indused) Got indused with my two firts aswell, my first one I got the epidural, my second a failed one at 10cm, then my 3rd they did try the spinal at 4/5cm but no chance it is not possible my back it to thight between the "opening/bones" I don't remember the name. So I was sure he was my last, BUT I got pregnant unplanned, ofc we are happy now. But HOW can I be able to WALK after my water is broken, going natural this time aswell since I can't have any of those. Also I got a spinalheadace after the epidural for my second that did not even work poked me wrong 7 times. ALSO, how can I try to induce myself at home before my induction or get my body ready for induction ❤ Btw I alwaysgo from 4-10cmin like max 60 minutes it is so intens.-Katarina, 28.*
Wow!! You have some amazing births!! There is no sure way to induce yourself at home, but I would spend some time each day doing figure 8s on the birth ball. That could encourage baby to engage in the pelvis.
@@birthtoolbox Yeah it has been alot, but so worth it, I also have 17 looses behind me with my husband and one forved one with my ex (that for me is a loss aswell). So I feel so bleesed, to soon have 4 under 4. 100% last baby tho🥰 Thank you so much for answering. I will do the figure 8🥰 And see if it helps♡
Wishing you all the best!
Thank you! What was the longest labor you've experienced?
Mine was 3 days 😢
