My due date is Nov 15th (tomorrow!!) I feel the past few days my body has been getting ready for labor. It’s been sore and some nights I’ve felt my stomach get tight, around 3am this morning I actually have been feeling cramps and earlier today I noticed a little bit of pink discharge! So I reallly think I’m in early labor at the moment. I’m happy I found your videos because I didn’t take any birth classes and wasn’t sure the best way to navigate this experience. I’ve been deep breathing through these feelings and just laid back down to rest as much as I can. My partner is asleep and I don’t want to wake him 😅 at least not until something feels more serious… baby is moving around on top of these early labor feelings. I’m taking it all in! Thank you for the great information!

Great reminders. I’m pregnant with #9 and still need to be told these things. It’s so easy to forget while in “labor brain” mode. Essentially ignoring labor until you’re really in labor is important. Integrating rest/active also important. And yes, telling people too early is a mistake! I don’t even tell my husband for awhile, otherwise I feel like I’m under a microscope and get a million questions! 😅

Totally understand not even telling your husband for a bit. I remember feeling like this for one of mine too! Thanks for watching. 😁

I've been planning what should go in my hospital bag and I'm really struggling with snacks 😅 I'm finding packaged snacks like crisps not very appealing and I can barely look at sweets. 😅 I hope i can just prep something while I'm in labour before hospital to prepare something or tell my husband to prep for me 😅 I'm just always craving warm meals 😅

Leftovers!! Also, soups and broth are great in labor. You can take sips in between contractions.

@birthtoolbox oooh soups have literally been a lifeline for me, despite the heatwaves we've had in the UK haha I've always loved them but at least one meal a day has been a soup since I got pregnant 🤭 yes good to know, maybe I can freeze some and then just warm it up and carry in a thermos or something like that 😄
thanks for the tips! 🥰 I'm loving your channel and slowly going through the videos. I'm also saving some in my "baby education" playlist to watch with my husband, especially those that explain how he can help me better. It's first time for both of us so loads of unknowns, but your channel is a great resource 💕

I'm so glad you are finding the channel helpful. YAY! That's the goal. If you have any groups of other moms to be that you could share the channel, that would be awesome. Sharing a video you love will help others and help grow the channel too. ❤😀❤

@birthtoolbox definitely will! I have a couple of friends who started trying to conceive recently, as they succeed one by one I'll share 😁🥰
