  • Welcome back RUclips! We are going over what games I recommend downloading before the Xbox 360 Shop closes on July 29, 2024.
There is a lot of games mentioned in this video, way too many to list here, and they rang in price from $15 all the way down to absolutely free. I also try to mention what the rough secondary prices are for games that have physical copies, and what other platforms the games are available on, if any.
Hopefully you found this guide informative, and maybe spot a deal or 2 that you might jump on before this piece of videogame history shuts down.
I plan to upload a part 3 showcasing hard to find trailers and demos on the xbox 360 store.

    Battlezone online is still available.
Bloody Good Time has bots, and most of the achievements can be done with the bots. You need only 1 other person to do the two online achievements.
Brink also has bots, but they are definitely not the brightest.
Choplifter HD IMO is pretty fun, and some of the DLC helicopters can be extremely helpful during some missions. All of the helicopters cost $1.00 each, which is really nice.
Rush 'n Attack Ex-Patriot is NOT on sale. The original arcade Rush 'n Attack is the one that got discounted.

Thanks for all the info! Good to know battle zone online is still going, that would make the purchase worth it if you can get a group of friends to play it together. And brink and bloody good time having bots at least gives the player something to if they download those games.
I am kind of surprised they did not put Rush n Attack Ex Patriot on sale, I just thought since the original arcade game was on sale, they put this game on sale too.

Thanks for the heads up, I will have to consider buying it before the shop closes. Crazy how much Guardian Heroes goes for on the secondary market now days.
Thank you for the comment, and I am happy you enjoyed the video.

@@BoosterBoxBuster no problem!! And I think it's now 5 bucks. Duck Tales is also 5. Though they are both playable on Xbox One also. Correction, Duck tales is 3.74 on the webpage marketplace. If you get it that way it gives it to you on all consoles. Just have to download from your download history. It worked for me for Guardian Heroes and Duck Tales. Goin to try it with Strider also.

Another I just found on sale is Call of Juarez Gunslinger. Dirt cheap and highly rated also backwards comp. But the sales are hard to turn down on download only games.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. Duck Tales was a game I considered getting for the NES for sometime now, but I might have to get the remaster version for that price. I have heard good things about Castle of Illusion. I played the first call of Juarez, but don't know much about gunslinger, I will have to look into that one.
I did not know you could buy it on the webpage marketplace and download it to all consoles, that is a neat trick i will have to try before the shop closes on Monday.
      Thanks again.

Great list but should consider the fact that armored Core V was more a multiplayer game than single player, sure theres some mission, but with the closure of the service lots of people gonna be stuck with their 130$ copy

    • @BoosterBoxBuster
      @BoosterBoxBuster  3 месяца назад +2

Thank you for the comment. I did forget to mention that, I think I was so flustered that a physical copy of Armored Core V was going for over $100 on the secondary market, that was all I could think about at the time, lol. I guess with the popularity of Armored Core VI, these games were bound to inflate in price.
At least for those who want to buy it and play the hand full of single player missions, they can still download the digital copy at a much cheaper price, until the store closes anyway.

Don't pass up Capsized, that game is really good! I haven't beat it yet, I hear it's only about 5hrs long, but it's so good, controls are great, level design is great, the music is so so good, composed by the dude who did Mirror's Edge music, I don't listen to a lot of game music outside of games, not that I don't love game music cuz I do, but this is one of those that I love listening to when I need to relax. The art style is great, and that combined with the music provides a really good atmosphere. But that game! Wait for a possible sale on the last sale batch, but still, even if it doesn't get a sale, the ten bucks is still very worth it! Side scrolling twin stick platformer, it has good challenge and you won't be disappointed! Check out reviews and see if it's your style, if it looks cool to you, you'll like it.

I will have to look into capsized. I did not know that this game and mirror's edge have the same composer, that is a good upside. If it does not go on sale in the last batch, I may have to consider buying it anyway. Thanks for the recommendation.

Some of these games are $1-2. It’s worth the risk of a “possible” future that they take away your ability to re download the game. Which hasn’t happened by the way. I have 300+ games on Steam and Xbox. Never lost a game. Never.
