Thanks man! I've been playing this bass with all of the controls backwards!! For 2 years now lol. You cleared everything up and made me rock like a true Miller! 🤙🤘
Glad to help!
Thanks for the shout out Kev! :) Great vid
Thanks! You have quite the bass reference library to refer to.
Thx for this video Kevin!👍
As a Fender player i can only say WOW!!!
The feeling to play a V5 or V7 is awesome.
More quality for less money compared to Fender.
My next Bass is a V7 😍
Thx for a great review. Made me decide!. And its great to see, that the drape you have in the background is so similar to the drape i have in my studio :-)
Hey Kevin-My Marcus Miller bass came in the mail yesterday and it’s exactly the same model and color as your friend’s. I paid $624+ tax including the case (gotta have a case.) I’ve had many basses and I agree with you on every point you made, including how it feels like a classic 70’s jazz bass. The sound and tonal range/control is superior to a jazz, and except for a couple features, like the headstock and the bridge, is just like a Fender Jazz. When I first took it out of the case and played it yesterday, I was amazed at the superior quality, even perfectly adjusted and tuned upon 1st play. Thanks for an excellent, spot on review. I liked and subscribed.
Thanks, Al. These are great basses. Enjoy!
I HAVE THE 5 STRING P 7 2ND GENERATION...AND SIRE V7 5 STRING 2RST GENERATION...SWEET.... THANKS FOR SHARING
I got this same bass before they hit the market back in 2015 I had to preorder it took 3 months because they make them per order it cost $299 when I got it I immediately got on my computer and ordered the 5 string $399 they were amazing for that price I told everybody to get in on it cause that price wasn’t gonna last and it didn’t I just sold my 5 string for $650 didn’t want to sell it but the guy wanted it bad and I was off work so it needed the money don’t think I will ever sell my 4 st cause I think it is one of the first ones they made it took 3 months for them to make it before I got it but when I play it nobody believes it’s a $299 bass that thing is a least 1500 or more nope $299
I have the V9 it's sublime
I told you the neck was awesome. I would have paid full price for it. And another great review from Kevin . BTW I bought this bass after watching a couple of LowEnd Lobster videos on the Sire Basses. So thanks to Kevin For this review and also thanks to Low End Lobster for his reviews
Didn’t low end lobster have not so great review if these ? I thought he also only did the vintage version
Great review!!! Thank You!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Nice review; tank's
Thank you!
I've got a v5, and while it's a nice playing instrument it's a boat anchor, that's something to take into account, I've tried a few other Sire's that have been heavy as well.
Just worth bearing in mind if you are thinking of gigging them for a couple of hours.
M series are lightweight
Maple neck rosewood fretboard!
Ebony actually
18 volt.
shut on fender ??? Mind you this is a fender model style , fender is not the problem they do very well build trust me the problem is the corporate pen pusher !
