Very helpful video, Ms. K! Thanks for sharing this. I plan to try the dye you use because it definitely works. I used to use the Shea Moisture dye (it was perfect) and have been desperate for something that actually works since they discontinued it! Your locs look so beautiful! Blessings!
I did not get grey hair on my head until I was turning 55. They appeared on my arms and legs but not my head, I know. I have locs now, a year and a half in and I hate the grey because it's around my edges and whenever I take a picture, it looks like I have on a white headband lol! I am fixing that on tomorrow and dyeing my grey. I wanted to wait until all my locs were locked, most are, except around the edges, I cannot wait any longer lol! Your locs are gorgeous and I love the black. I will only dye my hair black, nothing weird, just to cover the grey until I feel comfortable with the grey and by the way, I am 68 years old and decided to loc my hair, at such a late age, due to my health, unable to do my hair as it had grown waist length but I wish I had cut my hair short before starting my locs, I got a lot of bunching but that is okay, I love them.
Can I colour my greys in the first year of install of microlocs? I was told by my loctician that I couldn't stand it. I ended up taking my locs out after 6 months. I want to start again but I need to be able to colour it when I need to.

I have to dye my gray roots otherwise I look like I have bald patches 😊 people try and convince me to grow out my gray but it’s a NO for me shawty 😂😂

Facts girl!
@@latonyapoole380 I do it every 4-6 weeks I would love to go longer but since getting locs my hair grows faster
I absolutely feel ya!!!! Me neither, lol......
So glad I came to RUclips. I’m over my grey hair and ready to color it.
Gray hair is relentless

I used to use the Shea moisture too and have not found anything as good either.

You look incredible! I am so happy for you and your journey❤
Thank you so much!!
Looks good and healthy. I still wash my locs in banded sections lol. It's just easier.
As it gets longer and heavier I’m definitely going to do this.
Hey Kendra! I am in awe of your hair, it is absolutely beautiful!!
When you steam, do you add any oils? I know you use the steamer
Hi! Thank you. I do not add any oils
I’m with you I’m not ready for grey
You posted this right on time.
The hair is flourishing
It is! Thanks love
I’ve dyed my grey black plenty of times and apparently it comes back🥹🥹🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️And it be permanent hair color
Wow. Definitely try this color. It’s amazing
Sis it's gonna come back bcus your hair grows out. I'm allergic to permanent dye so I use a rinse
@@KendraKenshayquel est le produit que vous utilisez et vous l’avez acheté ou ?
Permanently colored hair doesn't change back. What you're getting is new growth. Darker hair shows more.

This video is gold!
I don’t have greys yet so I might just be talking crap but I plan on just using pink/purple/blue rinses on my grays. For a pop of cuteness.
How often do you need to dye your hair? I have stubborn grey they came back 4-6 weeks after dying.
Thanks for the "tutorial" Kendra! Question: You mentioned steaming your hair, how are you doing that?
I use a facial steamer. It’s linked in “my fav loc products”
Thank you for sharing ♥️
Love your loc's
Thank you so much❤️
How long does the color last?
It’s permanent love

The Revlon product didn't work at all in my locks.
Did you use the conditioner or just rinse with water
Love the video! How do you steam your hair? Did you wash it with shampoo after you rinsed the dye out?
The facial steamer I use is linked in the description box. You do not shampoo after rinsing the color.
@@KendraKenshay Oh ok, I thought you always wash it after rinsing the dye out. Thank you ❤️
Hi. Did you use the gloss???
I need that comb wow
It’s a game changer for sure
How often do you color your greys?
Maybe every 4 months or so
