Hello beautiful!!!! Moms hair looks amazing. The commentary was good as well. I just died my locs about 3 weeks ago to cover the gray . I did used a box color dark blonde. It came out brown which I new would. In a couple of months I will redo with a light blonde that way no bleach is necessary. I have always been a sucker for color even in my loose natural and perm days. I guess some things don’t change. Be well my love 😍 until next week. Blessings

Dyed before and during 1 time. My growth is grey salt and pepper. It makes me want to go silver all over but I love the copper red look. I don't KNOW 😆!!!

Did everything go well? Was there any breakage or anything? Im super nervous because im getting starter locs and I want them colored.
I've been natural since middle school, never with color. I want to get color sometime after my first year, and thought of doing dark red tips. I'm now considering a dark red ombre on the bottom 1/2 or 1/3, so my roots don't get changed and it goes from black to a red that's not too bright. My skin is a medium brown, but I have red tones in it.
I think you'd look great with something like a caramel, to blend with your skintone. Thank you so much for the tips!

Hello I love the jet black on your mom’s hair! The tips you gave throughout the video were very helpful. I have locs my locs are 8 weeks old now this is my second set before than I was loced for 8 months and used hicolor dye too dye my locs ginger and once that faded I’ve really wanted my original hair color back which is the darkest brown the color 4 and I’m honestly willing to use box dye to get it permanently back do you have any suggestions on what boxed dye too use ? My locs are honestly loced and my 2 strand twist pattern is gone and my locs are hardening plus I have not colored or did anything to my locs since I started my second set so I think they would be fine.

i just removed all of my extensions from my loc. i had microtwists for starters but the extensions became too much for my root, so i two strand twist the parts where the extension was removed, would it be safe for me to dye and just redo my two strand twists?

Great question! You got it. She was putting Vaseline to protect her skin from the dye. Not sure what developer though!

Does anyone know like abt how long should I wait to get starter locs after bleaching and dying my hair
so i bleached my tips and dyed them bright red now it’s faded like almost completely gone. i’ve combed out my locs now but there’s still some very dark faded red in my loose natural hair. i wanna dye my hair back black (natural color) would this be safe to do on new starter locs or should i dye my hair before getting my starter locs

That’s a great question! We were told to wait until at least six months. You know your hair best though so trust yourself with that decision.
