Canon EOS 7D Mark ii HDMI Output Not Displaying While Livestreaming

This video help you with your Canon EOS 7D Mark ii HDMI Output Not Displaying While Livestreaming, Broadcasting, This solution is for the mini screen on the EOS 7D where you need to turn on the setting for the HDMI Output + the Screen Mirroring. No all canon camera have this ability unfortunately but there is a list that have the feature on Canons website.
This is for when the screen is not playing anything on the display when connected to a monitor

This particular HDMI output option in settings is only available if you have your camera in "Video Record" mode, using the toggle switch at the top of the camera.

I have a Canon 80D and I want to use it to take live videos, I connect the HDMI output to the capturer and from the capturer to the cell phone and only the video comes out, but the audio does not come out. As I do.
-Does AUDIO come out via HDMI from the Canon 80D live?
-When playing recorded videos if the audio is present.

Hi Michael, thanks for this. I know I’m a little late to the party but I’m hoping you can help. I can get my EOS 7D Mk II to display on my tv using hdmi out as your video describes BUT the camera constantly auto shuts off after about 25-30 mins every time! So live streaming via hdmi on the EOS 7D Mk II beyond 30 mins is impossible. Any ideas?

And yes, I have the auto shuffle off disabled in the menu so that’s not the cause of the issue. :)

I am using eos R , and I want to mirror it during vedio and photo mode with the cam screen working . I was able to make it mirror on the vedio mode , but during photo mode, the cam screen is off , and nor working.
How can I make both my cam screen together with my LCD screen work together while mirroring .???
I need every thing shown on the cam screen to be shown both screens from setting to histogram.. every thing .

We use my 7d for streaming church services, but the hdmi output stops after 30 minutes unless the 7d gets a button press sometime prior to the 30 minute blackout. You know a fix for this?

Lookup Magic Lantern software for Canon. You can set it up to output clean hdmi and there's a setting to disable the 30 min timer.
