I totally agree with you... I'm only a fan of BTS, all their discography is insane but some artists sometimes catch my attention with a song here and there... And right now I'm discovering Mamamoo, and she reminds me of Destiny's Child, I saw a video of Hwasa who covers "Fly me to moon" and another one where she covers "Mama" by Queen and wow the voice! For me they are real artists and I hope they will persist... BTS took 3 years before having recognition and even with a 1st price the media snubbed them anyway because at the time their agency didn't have enough resources in front of the media and the competition. I regret that today some fans prefer to put forward synthetic music with big bursts and superficial and degrading messages ... They prefer artists who bring out MVs with big budget effects and multiple high fashion clothes and leave music as an art completely aside... In any case I decided to support these girls because they deserve it as long as they don't lose their soul... but BTS remain 1st in my heart.

My favourite part of Moonbyul’s rap is how versatile she is because you’ll rarely find someone who’s able to fit rap sermlessly into any genre song: jazzy, pop, rock, ballads, just anything, but Moonbyul does and she makes it sound good. She even fit rap seemlessly into Mamamoo’s bossa nova song, Words Don’t Come Easy. My ultimate bias groups are BTS, EXID and Mamamoo, now I’m hoping for EXID (they had a legendary story with their song Up&Down. They started even smaller than BTS and Mamamoo they weren’t groups with little fame - they got zero exposure at all bc the company were too small and they started as a project between 2 companies, that might be why even fewer people payed attention to them) Still their company Banana Culture is rubbish I think the company already closed.
