Japan are the pioneers of the Aircraft Carrier in war time, and at one point had the most formidable Navy pilots. It's so interesting learning about them in Dan Carlin podcasts.

Being American, you never really hear the japanese side of the story through school. Nowadays you can hear plenty of unbiased views from podcasts of how the Japanese did and i feel like they are very underrated and under-appreciated because they were the enemy.

Japan needs an aircraft carrier to protect their Land and waters and to provide safety in international waters for their allies. We all know Japan very well because we once fought them in a world war. We know how strong and proud people they are. They are real warriors and will honor their Nation until death does them part. In others words, they are and were a formidable Nation. I trust Japan more than China or North Korea or Russia. They are a small Country of proud, strong people. The Emperor thought after sending men & women to America to learn what made us a Super Power & Built air craft carriers, planes, all of the weapons we had. The Emperor thought if they could win a War with us because we had lost resources fighting Germany. That taking advantage of that they thought it would be easy and they thought every country would fear them had they won. America didn’t want another War especially while our pants were down. We also didn’t want to use Nukes unless we absolutely had to but WW2 had cost American tax payers enough to where we couldn’t afford another War but could win the War but it may take years and a lot of money.
The Nukes seemed to be the best answer after all we didn’t start the War with them they attacked us and hurt the Pacific Fleet bombing Pearl Harbor.
They provoked us and started something that we were with in our rights to stop. Especially after we took them in educate them on industry which they have become the builders of the best cars, appliances and many things which is good. What is ironic is once they Bombed Hawaii and now they own part of it. It’s better to be Allie’s with Japan than China no doubt as we both don’t want them to be a threat and together we can make sure they never rise up to be a threat which they are but not so much that we can not defeat them because we will and can keep the Pacific Free for trade.
Japan has always delivered better products unlike China’s junk.
Our Nation has gotten over Pearl Harbor and have strong relations with Japan. The future is all ours to make together and we are off to a too a good start.

@@GhanaReset I think having bases there is a good idea plus I think they know they know it’s more beneficial for them to stick with us and visa versa however I do understand why anyone would have issues of trust on either side because of the past. I think about the rumbles with rivals growing up and we fought and hated each other but after years of fighting we became friends and are now some of my best friends today. The future is ours to make a better future by choosing our best options for the right reasons why FDR turned over the Federal Reserve to the Royals was our worst mistake it’s like 1776 never happened and know they own our Democracy and we shouldn’t be fighting their wars because we pay them interest on our own money to fight their Wars, Nation Building etc etc. The EU & UK are all ran by Nazi’s The Mountbatten’s are all German and we’re in league with Hitler to kill the peoples off on both sides to amass the Wealth in WW1 & WW2 the cities got bombed but none of the Royals did on either side even Hitler didn’t really die.
Then there is Zelensky he’s Obama’s Puppet and he’s been killing Christians burying them in mass graves. I don’t like communists but we all should think about the Bay Of Pigs and how we felt with missiles on our door step. If we could actually open up the real truth in what’s going on in America and People actually knew the truth that was going on and who was behind it. Japan would be the least of our worries. The plot to run up the deficit so people across the pond can use international Law to seize our lands and slice up into Provinces controlled by the extension or what the Royal’s started in WW1 & WW2 is coming back around into fruition. Look at Mark Milley he’s a Communist and said in public if Trump was planning to strike China that he would personally call Xi to inform him. That’s Treason and he should be in Prison up on Treason Charges. It’s time we the People take the country back from the Tyrants both Party’s are complicit and now that the Right have the Judicial branch they should Impeach Biden but they aren’t so they all need to be removed both Parties along with Mark Milley and find a Patriot to run our military and Run Real Elections with people that The World Bank or The IMF doesn’t control and get out of Europe and bring the Reserve back raise the price of Gold to get the deficit down to where no Foreign entities or Private sectors can use international law to own us which they already do Americans just don’t know it.
These people coming across the border can be drafted to fight because it’s only a matter of time before tactical nukes are used all over to cull the populace but NATO & China want The US & Russia out of the way because They fear us both the most for stopping The Socialist Nazi regime that’s been plotting this since 1776.

Japan used Vivisection on American POW’s or any other POW’s they had.
It was Cruel & Unusual Punishment and one of the reasons they didn’t have an ethical dilemma to use the Nukes but after the two cities were hit they decided against using more because when we saw how much Hell it created we decided even though they were using Vivisection on our people that the end result was being tortured to death the same as Vivisection;. that we do have moral & ethical reasons why we shouldn’t ever use Nukes unless it’s Mutual when Nukes are used on us Successful or not that we should return with the same in kind.
Also America didn’t start that war. America got sucker punched by Japan Bombing Pearl Harbor. It’s good that the War ended because both sides lost Men & Women for nothing except The Hope & Respect for each other so that from now on we can be Allies & Assets to Fight our enemies together & Trade together. Also to explore & colonize Space together. I think we can all agree that War should never have happened.
We are better off being friends and not enemies. Colonizing Space and being a force of ONE to Combat our enemies and Natural Disasters is the Key to our survival because the Polar shift will cause serious issues along with The Thermal Conveyor stops working because of Fresh Water mixing with the salt causing the Conveyor not to work will send The UK & EU into an instant Ice Age along with half of America & extreme heat for the other half. Canada, Alaska Washington State along with Northern America will be Frozen as well to the Extreme. The whole planet will get Hyper-Caines that will cross continents wiping out everything in their paths. The Eastern Seaboard will be under water.
If we don’t build basins to catch the fresh water run off from the Polar Icecaps and pump it to drought stricken lands for agriculture and fresh drinking water we will see an instant Ice-age and Heat Waves from hell anywhere near the Equator.
If we don’t end these wars to Unite to do this Project together we will all suffer a worse fait that Unity can stop by running the huge Pipe lines across the Ocean and Build a Basin as wide as the Polar Icecap and as deep catching all of most of the Run Off & Pumped by a Pumping Station. We all will suffer and Die but together we can do this.
We can all be as One to create a better planet and to Colonize Space.

Nazis had a superior military to anyone, Japan had a superior Navy, Spain had a superior Navy, so did the French. What wins wars isn't numbers, remember the Chinese sent wave after wave of soldiers into North Korea during the Korean War, and also took wave after wave back in coffins. With today's weapons, large armies mean very little, in fact I would argue they're a hinderence in some cases because they cost resources. When is the last time the Chinese Navy won a naval battle? I'll tell you, I can't nor can anyone else, because it's been so many centuries ago! Logistics wins wars along with force projection, two of which the Chinese have little to no capabilities in, so they have a large force that couldn't leave their front yard... These aspects highlight Honour. These examples include indigenous construction of Weapons Platforms and planning to meet aggressor actions whilst maintaining an open and transparent position reflected in National Policies forged by true partnerships with Allied Nations and based on shared Goals. IOW, no selfishness, and no risks of them selling out or selling our top-secret weaponry to hostile powers, e.g., the PRC.

He is the main reason behind their recent pivots and decisions to manage potential threats without sole dependence on shame and/or using shady alpha foxtrot manoeuvres securing unilateral National Interests. Like ROC and ROK, they remain on standby and generate confidence through markedly precise Postures that do not change to suit assumed or presumed "needs". Sadly, these represented the essential foundations for forming and maintaining a US/NATO/NORAD/NNMA Alliance or Allyship. Although they remain solid bedrocks and mutually shared IR/FP, Diplomacy, and National Interest Goals, we continue making the same mistakes with other "NNMAs". Said mistakes demonstrate and present as constants created per annum and risking our, and Allied, Legitimacy, Partnership, Security, and Sovereignty.
Respect to our Best NNMA Allies in Southeast Asia!

So shocked when we (The USA) have supplied most of the tech on that boat. Even the aircraft are made here 🤣.

Same here. And note the smaller/shorter carrier is only possible because of the F35 VSTOL (Vertical Short Take Off Landing) F35 which is not possible for China. Japan's is smaller, yes, but has better aircraft on it (F35) and top notch radars, defenses, etc. Well done

Actually the shorter carrier had to be done because they were banned from building an aircraft carrier, but were allowed helicopter carriers. These are all still officially helicopter carriers, which are ok. People have pointed out next gen aircraft can use them, and Japan has jets in the works that can use them. France has one aircraft carrier, but they also operate "Mistral" class which cost about half a billion euro, and they have about 5 of them and they are helicopter carriers. So on paper people say the UK is equal to the French as both have one operational aircraft carrier, but France has 5 helicopter carriers and UK has none. Helicopter carriers are the future as they allow humanitarian work during peace times, use less crew, and also sneakily can actually use next gen jets. In other words, its easier to sell 5 helicopter carriers to your population than 2 aircraft carriers.
