  • "Redshift Sports was founded in 2013 by a team of mechanical engineers who also happen to be avid cyclists. From the beginning, we've focused on taking a different approach to product development - drawing on our own experiences and needs to create components that make a meaningful difference to the riding experience." - redshiftsports...
"Prior to starting Redshift Sports, the founders worked in a wide range of industries, from designing medical devices and baby strollers, to large-scale landmine clearance equipment and military aircraft. We drew on this extensive design, prototyping and manufacturing experience to bring our current line of products to market."
"In the years since, we have been busy bringing new and innovative products to market, such as the ShockStop Suspension System with ShockStop Stem (2016) and ShockStop Seatpost (2019). All of our products are designed, tested, and hand-assembled in our Philadelphia warehouse, where we maintain an uncompromising dedication to quality and customer service."
New for 2023 is the Arclight Pro Clipless Pedal:
"The Arclight Pedals are the ultimate bike safety upgrade. Now available in 3 versions: Arclight PRO Flat (ultimate traction on and off-road), Arclight City (the original pedal for commuters), and the Arclight PRO Clipless (SPD compatible). The Arclight Pedals amplify your biological motion making you up to 57% more visible than standard bike lights. And you are not just more visible - you're recognizable as a cyclist. Powerful LEDs and long lasting rechargeable batteries ensure you will stand out and stay safe even on your longest ride."

I saw someone have something similar riding and they are definitely very nice for night riding. But $174 is overboard the price. Maybe $140 would be reasonable.

I have been a fan of these since the original commuter-oriented product launched. I like that the clip-in crowd now has a very versatile option to match the versatility of many gravel bikes. I know my bike serves multiple purposes as my garage space does not allow for N+1. I find the tech to be intriguing and these would be great on my e-cargo bike in the future. I do wonder how durable the clipless bodies will prove to be in that race configuration - I'm thinking a rock strike taking out some aspect of the electronics integration. Perhaps I'm overthinking it. I'm hoping you have a long-term review(er) in mind!

Good morning! One of my good friends will be riding them long-term on a commuter bike, that sometimes heads onto the gravelly road less traveled.
