We're both professional triathletes and this week I'm doing mile repeats on the treadmill because we got an overnight snow storm in Bend. Our first race of the season, The Couples Triathlon Championship is only a week away, and with $100,000 on the line, we're sharpening up to be ready.

What pump head is that you are using, as I can't seem to find a pump that fits into the disc hole and the crack pipes are a bit annoying when trying to inflate tubeless tyres haha

Just feels weird to take it to a shop when you can do it yourself 🤷♂️ It’s kind of zen to go out to the garage, put on music and put them together 🤙

Does anyone know if you purchase the live feed but can’t watch it live, are you able to watch it later?
I know that you have probably covered it, but how do you film the in pool scenes? Love the channel, thank you for documenting your experiences.
For the in-water shots I mostly use the gopro hero 9, and for the pre-swim stuff and above water shots I use my main camera, the A7s3
Eric bike is amazing. Why is it when you see a bike better than yours you immediately get bike envy. Ugh! Do the dog 5k....but I'll can you tell from experience make sure he sh*ts before, that kept me from a podium once. Paula sauconys rock

Well done as usual. Hey Eric, have You been using Specialized Turbo Tires in all your Tri races?
This'll be the first race I've used them for, but Paula used them last year. I've been running the turbo cotton with latex tubes

Apparently the aero benefit of not having a front derailleur brings also a small penalty by having a longer cage for the rear derailleur. I heard that more for gravel and road bikes with probably a wider range of gears.
What are your gear ratios ? :)
Oh that's interesting.. It would also depend how much time you were spending in the bigger cogs, with the derailleur fully extended.. I'm running 52t in the front and 10-33 in the back

It’s a life fitness like what you’d find at a lot of gyms. We found it used but refurbished here in town
What pump did you use to inflate the tires?
I’ve got the air chamber by PRO, which is a Shimano sun company. It’s good, but I also have the birzman in Canada, which I like a bit more

How long does it take you to edit one video?
I’ve gotten it down from probably 10 hours when I first started to about 4 now. It’s hard to keep track of since every day I fit in 20 minutes here and there, then really do the bulk on Saturday afternoons

Wow what a surprise, bonus video!!! And Eric,,,you know I always speak my heart, good or say fair, never bad, but your bike, and build, well made my heart jump or even give my body the tingles, I almost see purple, in the color, purple is the new black, and I love it, if you can only see the bikes I ride, lol well you can, euro bike, 399 dollars, made it even heavier, about 46 pounds, ride one, and have two sitting in boxes, so when this one breaks, I just pull a new one out of the box, saves time and money,,,nothing like your bike, your bike its like a formula one car, I actually watch them, to try and learn for my bike, it's still being built, no rush, as the 46 pounds will make me stronger, its just about timing now, as to win my light bike is here, now about this sweat shirt, its the best one I own, and the color, its like a mint green, or at least the color I thought mint green was, lol but what ever this color is,,,I promise to paint my 38 foot crown bus, notice its a crown bus, has a crown on it, made for the king, me, now I am not here to be king of people, as most kings wanted to be, I am going to be the king of tri,,,back to the color, its so perfect, and the sweat shirt smells so good, must be the organic materials, see organic is obviously the way to go, I think my body is so enlightened, that say the chemical s on cloths effect the way I feel, I mean, just dont know how to explain it, expect, feels like I just drove to lake tahoe, and ever breath, feels good, so I am going shoping on Amazon, today!!! organic clothing, it feels good, and smells good, like when you open the package, it smells good, and you put it on, and then you smell good, wow! Wow !! Wow!!! See there is so much to learn, or perfect in this triathlon life, hence why I choose it for my dream, now if it were me, 100k lets get it!!! I mean, let get it!!! Even I will start the manifestation, as this power I am maybe the best at, lol like what ever I dream, comes into my life, so before bed, and especially before you get out of bed, you visualize a perfect race, like wet suits riping off durring transition, and shoes just slipping on, then like go thru the whole run in your head, race fast, but race like at any time, they will release , the running of the bulls, or like a boxer waiting for tenth round, but conserve everything for the run, like rest after the swim, I see so many people run fast after swim to transition, right??? Now as youtube man, we always change sports, so we are boxers, swim is first round, get it, now after round, I sit, and rest, now, a tri person, after first round, he runs around the ring, until next round, and then we start round 2,,,lol see I was a boxer, but after knocking my friends outs, and then me getting knocked out I quit, lol however like everything in life, I learning so much!!! And from you to, as this organic clothing is super duper good:) thanks for my best sweat shirt of my life!! Now it's time to go for another bet ride of my life, happy racing, don't let that money change that, as happy always wins!!!
