One of the best songs ever written. A raw look at the deepest thoughts a human can have. The struggle of faith, the questions of why we're here, and how we're here? Truly amazing, and great delivery.
HOLY COW DUSTIN COMMENTED. Good lord, I feel like I'm watching history. I know you've heard this a million times man but I've been subbed forever and love what you do. Keep up the good work!
***** yes... exactly. I always struggle with the faith. Once I started to believe in catholic God this song words always popped in my head. I even haven't heard this song until now.
I slowly started loosing faith after my uncle committed suicide and this song is exactly how I feel especially at the end if you cared prove I need to live carefully
Humans die twice. Once when our body dies, and again when no one remembers us. Remember your cousin and a part of them will live on like ripples in a pond long after the stone that caused them is gone.
The world today wasn't ready for Hopsin. They always talk about the King of Pop, Queen of Pop and all that jazz...+Hopsintv is a prophet, and he could make a difference if he was promoted. But his message holds too much truth that society isn't ready to accept.
+Nate Kyng i dont think he is a prophet but he realy fighst agianst biches clubs drugs and imoral thinks i hope he will safe us with the help of good people
"This nigga got me weak as fuck" - lol You hate on Hopsin cause you're the fake bitch he's talking bout in his music. You sound like a stereotypical "real nigga" who's gonna end up a slave to the system, where your only street credit is you looking up rappers you don't like and then commenting ignorant banter like a gossiping school yard bitch. Gosh! You sure showed me, Uncle Tom!

What I'm trying to say is that in music itself. There's a huge difference in just "music" and "musical art". Musical art has meaning and a purpose, it conveys a specific message. Music is any ole dumbass talking about a whole bunch of nothing.
actually music is art its just now a days its rare to see REAL music now these so called "musicians" only focus on what sounds good and what people would like, Real music is lyrics that actually mean something to the artist
2014 I heard this song. Lost and alone. Screaming out to God and feeling ignored. Mom sick and dying and nothing I can do to save her. In Nov of 2014 God called my mom home and this was the last song she heard me playing. I do not question God anymore. It took me 10 yrs to process my mother's death. I'm thankful that I'm still alive. Now I'm sick 😢 and now I understand how my mom felt 😞. To those doubting them selves, follow your hearts and chase your dreams. We are never guaranteed 24 hrs. Seize your moment in life. Own it. Make it yours. But what ever you chose to do do t doubt your self and don't doubt God. Love you all. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
Thanks for sharing man, the greatest thing that every human being doubts is that God loves us. I fight every day to believe that He does. But I do still believe it. Hop hated that he had to rely on faith, but faith is a beautiful thing. There is great hope in it. I pray that God will show you the mercy and love of Christ in your current season.
8 year old me understood every part of this, but kept it to myself because I didn't want to tell anyone these exact questions fearing people will judge me.
Jesus was possibly the first schitzophrenic. Its possible. Today, when someone claims they are God or Jesus reincarnated, what do we do? They are "crazy". So why is Jesus above that scrutiny? They didnt know better then. Dont give me "miracles". Those arent miracles...theyre parables...written by an author. Expand your mind...it doesnt make you less. IF Jesus was real...if God is real...theyll respect you more for finding your own path rather than just believing because you were taught to do so. I dont hate on people that believe. If something makes you a better person...then do what you need to in order to be a better person. But dont attribute your ability to be good to something else. YOU did that. You just had inspiration to do so.
I pity the person who is being good because someone promised that *maybe* you'll go to Heaven if you're good. You should be a good person without any type of reward on your mind...
+Anon Iman The funny thing is that there's no good without God, please define to me good, do not give me personal preferences! And please stop with this idea that people do good because they believe in God, Read Roman 2:15 "The law of God is written on people's mind" they can't escape it, that's the reason hopsin sings in this beat that there's no problem with not believing that there's right and wrong but then after turns around in another song calling people on their attitude!
Ben G "The law of God is written on people's mind" and they can't escape it... srsly?! Do you mean that in a sense that God created mankind in his own image? ...and programmed us to use logic and common sense in a way he imagined it and in a way he uses it? Just imagine how humans are greedy, envious, lazy, stingy, rotten, angry... Does that mean God is the same as us? Is that the law of God you talk about? He wrote that on people's minds? Someone surely gave humans bad habits, could it be that God intentionally made us like broken toys?
Anon Iman God created all of those things for your own dood but people twist them for evil! Let me give you a glimpse of what you call "evil" on the mirror of them being "good"! envy, people should use it to build theircharacter, i can envy your intelligence and by that i should feel pushed to do better to get where you are, we say that everyday, "man i envy your attitude" or things like those, and many othe stuffs! I don't look at all emotions as evil but they become evil when they are used to go against the moral code that God has drawn in your mind! Now i want to ask you something, according to evolution we were programmed blindly by our DNA to do what we do and act the way how we act, tell me why are you complaining?
Same here, I was 15 when I heard this song for the first time, I did not understand anything of what he was rapping about because I didnt know English that well yet like I do now. I am 25 years old right now bumped into this song and many other songs by Hopsin and realized how good is lyrics are.
See, I actually don't like that. It plays directly into the description of an atheist in religious scripture. It doesn't seem like a very good argument, but it is understandable.
I think its an excellent argument, my parents are christian but I'm struggling to see why i should stop doing seemingly harmless things just so i can please someone/thing that i can't even see
Joe Sutcliffe The reason why it isn't a good argument is because that is the exact description it gives someone who falls under temptation. Of which, they consider you someone who has given in to the devil. So, religious people will not only understand that you did so, but they will reference the bible and how it explained that quality of atheists. Therefore, by giving that argument, you are only proving a religious person's point.
(I want to gave a genuine discussion here, so lets not turn this into a hate filled argument). Perhaps I worded it wrong. I mean things like if i want to live a little while I'm younger, perhaps have something like sex before marriage, something harmless as long as you control it. Why should we have to cut out fun things like that just because of some rules supposedly made by an invisible being who wont show itself to me? And these rules are all written in a book, which must have been written by men. In my head, although i agree with almost all principles of christianity, i can't understand why we should follow these rules to please this being that possibly was completely created by men
Joe Sutcliffe I'm not saying that those things aren't harmless or even saying God exists at all. However, all I'm saying is that by giving that argument, you fall right into where a religious debater wants you to go. To answer your questions, they simply point to the bible. Even if you win the debate, they will say that you fell prey to Satan's temptation just like Adam and Eve. That argument doesn't win any debate is all I'm saying. They will argue that just because something feels good, doesn't mean it is okay.
JP ATL big fuckin facts I love hop his music touches you to the core because it gets you thinking in ways you couldn't bare to think of on your own, this man is amazing in what he does and hope he never quits doing what he's doing, so many people now a days are to scared to hear what's real and are too blind to really see what's wrong in the life we live this man is here to help us see what's real and couldn't be any better than that
“If hell is truly a pit of fire and I get thrown in it, I’ll probably regret the fact that I ever wrote this shit.” His face looked like he was genuinely afraid of saying that out loud. Good song.
This is a masterpiece. I’ve heard this probably 100 times and it still stops me. Punches me. Goosebumps every single time. This is what lyricism should be about. Too bad this vein world can’t handle an artist like Hopsin.
@@chasemarquez7620 Same • I Go on a Hopsin binge every year for 9 years now. I'm an atheist but was formerly devout. This song helped me over the bumps of deconstructing from what feels very toxic & backwards to me. Peace all y'all❤
I sat here at the keyboard trying to think of something to say, and im still sitting here. Im so impressed with this song! One of my subscribers sent me here, and im so grateful.
He's got a point, there no proof, bible took like 2000 years to get written by 40 different people, just them 2 facts is enough for me to question it, just another form of control by man
@taniz control by man? Religion is man made so yes, of course it can be used as a sense of control if EXPLOITED but that's not at the fault of religion itself, that's just the evils of corruption and exploitation. Quit seeing the negatives and maybe you'll be a little more compliant towards religious beliefs...reason why athiests look dumb in my opinion.
I was not being negative I was pointing out facts of the bible, religion is control never said it was bad control, it's good to question things it how we find out the truthfulness of things if you blindly follow then your dumb in my opinion.
***** Right!!! Thats like if your kid or if anyone's kid came to them sacred and said the boogey monster is in my closet. They wrote books on him but they tell their kids he aint true. Same way with the bible. Full of stories and lucky guess's. I have predicted thing in future before does that make me someone of a higher power, should someone write a book about me and kneel before me because i was lucky predicted a few things. that would mean that most scientist should be god because they have predicted more then the bible has.But it is what it is. let people believe in a book that was written so many years afterwards. its like the telephone game. you start off with a phrase and its different at the end of the line. so how could a book be so well written thousands years later..lol makes no sense, how can most not see that, maybe because their mind cant handle that much thought at once
The one thing that keeps me beleiving in a higher power is the fact that we are here. It makes sense that plants grow but it doesnt make sense that we are here controlling this human body. Someone put this 'soul" or whatever you want to call it, in this human body. Thats the only true evidence any of us have of god and is the most powerful to think about
@@irishscience580 Also when you think of how advanced we are, there’s no way such a thing could be made by chance our organ systems are way to complex to be an accident, it must be the work of God
Loved this song at 14 the day it was released and listened to it on repeat until I could recite every word. This song moved me at 14 and it still moves me today at 23… Now at 23 I can only feel sorry for that 14 yo that had absolutely no business in being able to understand a song that goes as deep as this one. Stay faithful, and if you are that same 14 yo that I was, don’t ever forget that there is a purpose behind your existence.
I'm faithful but I'll never be faithful to the church or another religion again. God is only a neutral force that left things to natural order after it was done creating our solar system. Source: The ever expanding universe and the fact we don't know what's beyond the universe or the big bang let alone the mysteries of what our brain does while dying. I'll have faith in him however we all should know better than to think god will intervene in human affairs. That would admitting to imperfection. I was 16 listening to this 21 this song only intensified how I also felt. Can keep faithful but don't let it control your thoughts and emotions. God made us the way we are for a reason and the church simply doesn't like it and will use eternal damnation as a method of controlling things they don't agree with. There are books that make sense and holy books aren't one of them, too many of the "wrongs" all happen to be mammal nature and written in a way it sounds like a disgusted, jealous, or hateful human being
Wow all these comments about whether god is real or not... I just came here to say this is one of the most powerful and heartfelt rap songs I've ever heard, it's up there with Kim by Eminem and Dance with the Devil by Immortal Technique. I love rap with extremely powerful and moving emotion put into it.
lose yourself is overrated Till I Collapse Is better Dance with the devil is dope af Changes is awesome Hopsin is not is god real or fake? Who cares this is a stupid song why is he so angry over nothing Good rapper shitty creativity and gimmicks
0:58 "With the way that I been living lately, if I died right now, you'd turn the fire on." This was when I realised this song was perfect. He explains how, no matter what he done, in the eyes of "god" it's enough to be sent to hell, no matter how miniscule. I respect you bro 9 years later. Your were right then and even more now💯
His lyrics are a theological question in the truest form, a For real what if Jesus was a facade like hopsin asks? No answer just speculation.... Hopsin really does border on genius with his lyrics.....
+John Burnett Exactly Thank you its hard to understand the word of god at such a young age but once you get older in your faith it will be easy and it will click in your mind exactly what it is saying .
At 16 I'd had the bible shoved down my throat all my life and I had a pretty good idea of bible principles. They just didn't hold up against logic. Its very convenient to say "you just dont understand it" whenever someone finds fault in their belief system instead of defending it with valid arguments
disclaimer I don't care about re religion this comment is not for religious people especially ones who get triggered. I'm atheist so never gone church unless for god do I have to say it? school plays -_-
"if you really care for me, prove that i need to live carefully. but i'll be damned if i have to put my own pleasure aside for an afterlife that isnt even guaranteed" That hit hard.. still after 5 years it hits me EVERY SINGLE TIME.
That's his fucking opinion man. If he had the concept of Heaven then why bother asking. If indeed he holds his pleasure too precious that he'd turn a blind eye to his conscience, then, sin away!
@@hezze5934 I like Hopsin and Dax for being factual and truthful, speaking what they observed. But the issue I have with these two is that they come and doubt the Bible. And I will not wate no more alphabets arguing on this but I really wish, if they do want to believe in God, know Him for what He is;know the purpose of His Bible.
Bradley Bates - hell yeah! I do like Hip Hop/Rap myself, but I can tell you he is the most vocally expressive rapper I’ve ever heard. He somehow manages to still capture the same swagger that makes rap what it is, but he does it with none of the pretentiousness which makes it so much more powerful.
R mrk - hip hop is sadly rarely profound anymore. When it is, it is incredibly so however. I love hip hop/rap but I have to be honest about it. Sadly Hopsin is not the standard these days
2023 and I still get chills every time. I hear this song. A perfect masterpiece that captures the struggle of so many of us with faith who are trying to make our way through this world.
This song is not blasphemous, it is not denying God, it is not disrespecting, it is simply a song about a man that has questions, that many people are just afraid to ask.
God don't exist seeing is believing if he exist the show the fuck up where he st why do I not believe but yet I'm doing so great I'll tell you why it's because I done something about it ain't no one gonna do the shit for you get real wake the fuck up

Anas “you were taught by the of government that homelessness and poverty is a choice” you misunderstood what I said, “sometimes” there’s a difference. You still never answered my question before, where does it say in the bible that Christianity is a business and all about money. You kinda disproof your argument, “Christianity encourages charity” I don’t see that business is profiting money when it’s a charity.
Anas Exodus 22:25: “If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be like a moneylender to him, and you shall not exact interest from him.” Leviticus 25:35-37: “If your brother becomes poor and cannot maintain himself with you, you shall support him as though he were a stranger and a sojourner, and he shall live with you. Take no interest from him or profit, but fear your God, that your brother may live beside you. You shall not lend him your money at interest, nor give him your food for profit.” The Old Testament authority condemns taking interest from the rich and the poor, within the Jewish community. Jew is allowed to borrow money from a non-Jew and pay interest to him on the loan, thereby enriching him, and a Jewish person is also allowed to lend money to a non-Jew who asks for a loan and collect interest from him, just as non-Jews are allowed to lend and borrow money to and from each other with interest. Neither of this is harmful to society. Loans and interest are the two poles of the turbine that drives a healthy economy. When loans are available, merchants can make greater profits, builders can build bigger buildings, entrepreneurs can bring new ideas and inventions to the market, and families can live in better homes, more jobs, more food, more clothing, more choices of how you want to live. Edited: Just added a few things.
Hopsin had it figured it. Much love to him and anyone who understands his message. Much like anyone in the Christian faith, he has questions and so should we. Love you all
I know a few very religious people to whom I’ve shown this song to, and they even admit it’s a very good song and it sort of made them understand people who don’t have the same type of faith they hold. I didn’t believe in god before I heard this song, but after hearing it and seeing how many people it has reached, I feel comfort in that I’m not a select few that feel this way, but am part of a large whole that realize religion is most likely a fairy tale passed down generation to generation to make humans fear death less and less. As death is the one universal unknown. We don’t know what happens, but if you have faith and strong beliefs that you will go to a better place, than you are probably better off. IMHO I think hell is a deterrent to attempt to keep people from committing crime and vile acts. It still happens though no matter what. I don’t think we’re different than any animal and sometimes animals have to commit vile acts to survive. Humans are just too smart for their own good, so we end up putting too much significance on our own lives so we don’t feel like we’re living for nothing.
Wut u talkin bout he’s not underrated at all he’s definitely earned his spot cuz he did the work to have the success and respect he has from ppl all over the world a lot of celebrities especially now a days are only rich and famous cuz of connections or they have and cuz they were born lucky with opportunities that only few get so they were giving their success pretty much has nuthin to do with talent cuz the bullshit that the entertainment industry has been putting out is talentless artists who are not even artist most have ghost writers writings their own lyrics for them then they auto turned mixed and mastered voices over a instrumental that Sumone else made so basically just doin karaoke but Infront of way bigger audiences and fans that u have only cuz ur wut it’s wut the industry is putting out and everybody are nuthin but abunch Of Followers that follows wut the media tells us are cool and popular so that’s wut u have to be like or else or not cool ur just a person being their authentic self cuz they are living their own life instead of tryin to live a life that u think ppl will like cuz having a lot of ppl accepting u cuz of the image ur portraiting along with of millions of others in the world with the same goal and at the end of the day that attention and fake love or respect means jack shit and u will be forgotten by the next day
@@treverloyaltyanderson6501 When do you ever hear the name hopsin? I randomly thought about him yesterday after 5 years of not listening to his music. He makes masterpieces that speak to the soul and the only people who give a fuck about his music are the ones who stubble onto his music. Face it, this guy is buried.
He’s talking some shit. He’s talking about the Bible, the truth about flat earth is gonna come out soon. If earth is flat then god 100% made us people need to realize the uses fisheye cameras to give earth a curve
This is the only song ever that tell the truth of everything ans everyone's real thoughts. He is the realest person ever You wont find someone who will put his whole soul into a song like him!!!!!!!
I’ve listened to/watched this since the very first day it released. Still and will always be one of the most powerful songs I’ve ever heard. A struggle I’ve related to so perfectly for most of my life.
He sounds like he was fighting himself in this song. This is the struggle many of us go through. Before anyone wants to judge someone for being a "non-believer" listen closely. He is trying to believe and making the effort, but he has a hard time keeping his faith. Some people are fine with believing in anything without question. Others want to see real answers other than old scripts written by other humans. I think if Hopsin is being true to himself and being a good person, that's all that should matter. Forget his religion or beliefs. In the end, humanity is what keeps people together. Not the creed (or lack of).
msjulicious Religion is purposeless, I personally don't believe in the spiritual side of any religion, but I can say that religion does bring people together and can change some people into living a more functional and well-being lifestyle. But at the end of the day, religion doesen't matter, as long as you're a good person...thats what really matters!
+Jay Zweedz yeah if you read my entire comment, you can see i already wrote what you said lol. :) i'm not religious. I was describing the lyrics. i agree with your comment, too.
Not tryna sound like a bitch or anything but this and Nocturnal Rainbows kinda makes me wanna cry theres so much soul if you know where I'm coming from.
Definitely. Another amazing track by Hopsin. He's such a talented artist. Different genre, but this is the song that always gets to me: Machine Head - Burning Red ruclips.net/video/rj2xMVRfVlg/видео.html
2023 and i still listen to this masterpiece, deepest thought you could ever listen too, many people are being brain washed for sure, if we are one why not helping each other to stand up.
This song got me. I used to be a Christian.. I want to believe in God to have eternal life, but.. I have no proof. God hasn't showed me proof. And if he has, it's not easy enough for me to see. I WANT FUCKING PROOF! This song inspired me. Like really, does God exist? Does he not? As Hopsin said, a fucking person made The Book. Somebody, show me proof.. THERES NONE!
Psychoticious How can you look at the world, the universe and not see a creator in it? Apart from all scientific theory-- where does anything come from? Nothing can't become something. The universe is expanding because God began it. The proof is everywhere "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork." Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."
this is a millionth time am replaying this song. the lyrics to this song is pure art with such fine details. 5 mins song describes my entire 26 years with incessant thoughts on why i even exist!!
I was 14 when this song came out and still remember the profound impact it had in shaping my perspective of religion and the world. It's been 8 years and I still remember every word.
the message of this song is this - I'll leave my life without rules ,,, I don't care if there hell . Hopsin is lost ill mind means sick mind. he is infecting young minds
This song is almost a decade old and I'm just knowing about it in 2024? 😮😮😮 Fuck me, unarguably the first boldest black man to say things the way they are. I love this well thought out written song so much.
Yo, i'll be honest. I heard this song a first time and I was mad at hopsin for dissing religion but I stopped and started thinking. Hopsin has every damn right to doubt and search. He is still looking for God according to his interview and I hope he finds what he searches for. This song really hits home to the faithful and the faithless. Everyone doubts. Even the strongest of believers have questions and although this song is hard hitting it is a clear depiction of the struggles people go through when it comes to thinking about the big questions of life. Im Christian, but it doesn't mean there are things in my religion I am trying to figure out. Thanks Hop.
Dude I thought I was the only one this song makes my whole body tingle it's truly amazing how this song speaks to me I've had the same thoughts as Gipson in the subject
I pray for him and for others. If you understand his message it was about him losing or giving up the belief in our Father in heaven. Repent if you feel the same and have GREAT FAITH BELIEVE BECAUSE HE IS COMING!
I'm glad he venting without making fun of God or the Bible or religion. If you listened to the interview, he said he was just venting and wasn't mad at God or anything. I respect this guy even though I'm religious because he has respect. Tyler the creator on the other hand....
+Nate Pimienta Lol you're 100% correct I apologize. I'll make the edit right now. God did not teach me this. I'm just curious though, what was my argument and how did I contradict it?
Isaak, I bet you read the bible like a dictionary and not from beginning to end which is what I was implying by "study vs read" comment. Most Christians don't read of the Bible but claim they do.

Hop hated that he had to rely on faith, but faith is a beautiful thing. There is great hope in it. I pray that God will show you the mercy and love of Christ in your current season.

Deven Anderson I know right
Jesus was possibly the first schitzophrenic.

"But I'll be damned to put my own pleasure aside for an afterlife that isn't even guaranteed." So good
See, I actually don't like that.

Your attacking me for my beliefs, that is why religious people look dumb in my opinion.

This song moved me at 14 and it still moves me today at 23…
Now at 23 I can only feel sorry for that 14 yo that had absolutely no business in being able to understand a song that goes as deep as this one.
Stay faithful, and if you are that same 14 yo that I was, don’t ever forget that there is a purpose behind your existence.
This is crazy. We’re the same age and I was just about to post a comment similar to yours haha. I was 14 listening to this and now 23 as well!!
There are books that make sense and holy books aren't one of them, too many of the "wrongs" all happen to be mammal nature and written in a way it sounds like a disgusted, jealous, or hateful human being
This song expresses how everyone that struggles with faith feels. We want to believe so badly. But seeing is believing. It’s a blur until it isn’t.

"I'll just do me, I'm human, I'll stay in my lane." Is the hardest quote from this whole song.
“I’ll be damned if I put my own pleasure aside for an afterlife that isn’t even guaranteed”
Anas “but the system itself is designed to collect more money” Where is your proof of that?
Anas no where does it say in the bible I mean. I should have made myself clear, sorry.
Anas plus there will always be homelessness. Sometimes people choose to not work.
Anas Exodus 22:25: “If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be like a moneylender to him, and you shall not exact interest from him.”
Leviticus 25:35-37: “If your brother becomes poor and cannot maintain himself with you, you shall support him as though he were a stranger and a sojourner, and he shall live with you. Take no interest from him or profit, but fear your God, that your brother may live beside you. You shall not lend him your money at interest, nor give him your food for profit.”
The Old Testament authority condemns taking interest from the rich and the poor, within the Jewish community.

Every experience of being human was addressed in this song. Goosebumps!

Very well said everyone else shutup this is the only comment that matters ^
Also very true
msjulicious wise words bro.
msjulicious Religion is purposeless, I personally don't believe in the spiritual side of any religion, but I can say that religion does bring people together and can change some people into living a more functional and well-being lifestyle. But at the end of the day, religion doesen't matter, as long as you're a good person...thats what really matters!
+Jay Zweedz yeah if you read my entire comment, you can see i already wrote what you said lol. :) i'm not religious. I was describing the lyrics. i agree with your comment, too.
came back 3 years later....
art.. so pure, so raw, so personal...

Not tryna sound like a bitch or anything but this and Nocturnal Rainbows kinda makes me wanna cry theres so much soul if you know where I'm coming from.
Definitely. Another amazing track by Hopsin. He's such a talented artist. Different genre, but this is the song that always gets to me: Machine Head - Burning Red ruclips.net/video/rj2xMVRfVlg/видео.html
first time i heard this i was 16, still hits just as hard today. deep questions deep thoughts
2023 and i still listen to this masterpiece, deepest thought you could ever listen too, many people are being brain washed for sure, if we are one why not helping each other to stand up.
Hopsin was way before Joyner Lucas. Just sayin. Still love Lucas but Hopsin is been a very underestimated hiphop artist for a minute!
good opinion
So is Joyner
Not underestimated underappreciated
It's better than devil's work
John Wick yes thank u
i still get the goosebumps when i listen to this song. Just like when it first came out.
Yyeesss this shit is soo dope
incredible how he went from this to his new songs, hope he goes back to this style

I'll mind
Skull Crusher
You'll mind?
Wat?
It's so real this song real meaning all true love you hospin being so confident to speak your mind
"Hopped on Christianity so strongly, I fell out" this hit so hard, I was on fire for Christ, now I'm unrecognisable
We will only enter the next stage in our evolution when we all realize this.
That's where faith comes in.
OptimusRhyme394 there's no proof for a god. Also you're right we're not exactly sure how something came from nothing, but where did God come from?
OptimusRhyme394 I can tell a graet man created Earth I will admit. But can we see God? No. Can see Heaven? Naw
this is a masterpiece. such powerful lyrics. how the hell does he commit such long, fast-paced speeches to memory like this?!
And some people believe in their hearts and message enough to practice the shit out of it.
he just wrote hw he feel
nobody's gifted with anything, everyone can do everything
Yeah, everyone is capable of finding the truth. But some people like Hopsin have the intellect to make it easier. That's all.
+Diet Nova In a perfect world maybe
One of the best songs ever written …. I get chills every time when i hear this masterpiece …. Marcus you are the best
this is a millionth time am replaying this song. the lyrics to this song is pure art with such fine details. 5 mins song describes my entire 26 years with incessant thoughts on why i even exist!!
same bro
I was 14 when this song came out and still remember the profound impact it had in shaping my perspective of religion and the world. It's been 8 years and I still remember every word.
i was 8 i went from praying everynight to thinking every christian was a fuking idiot in 4 minutes
@@lilk556 calling billions of people idiots doesn’t make you any smarter.
the message of this song is this - I'll leave my life without rules ,,, I don't care if there hell . Hopsin is lost ill mind means sick mind. he is infecting young minds

João Victor Tavares Moreira Yes He Would You Or So Right Hopsin is so Poetic

One of the best songs ever written and it doesn’t even have a chorus. Amazing talent
Thanks Hop.
+John B
Well said, man. I'm atheist, but I can relate. You're right in that it resonates within both camps of thought.
;)
In ill mind 8 is sounds like he's going back to Christianity
+Coleman Moore Who cares?

I've never had chills for 5 minutes and 50 seconds straight
Dude I thought I was the only one this song makes my whole body tingle it's truly amazing how this song speaks to me I've had the same thoughts as Gipson in the subject
Crazy Turtle1134 hi
you ant the only one
I've Only Gotten Chills From A Song 3 Times. This Song Was The First To Do It.
I pray for him and for others. If you understand his message it was about him losing or giving up the belief in our Father in heaven. Repent if you feel the same and have GREAT FAITH BELIEVE BECAUSE HE IS COMING!
No violence
No drugs

@@worthless7653 lol
Whats wrong with dat
Heard His other Songs?
god i couldnt imagine unironically commenting this corny ass shit
I'm glad he venting without making fun of God or the Bible or religion. If you listened to the interview, he said he was just venting and wasn't mad at God or anything. I respect this guy even though I'm religious because he has respect. Tyler the creator on the other hand....
lol you say your religious and then you say some other person can "suck it". You just contradicted your own argument
+Nate Pimienta Lol you're 100% correct I apologize. I'll make the edit right now. God did not teach me this. I'm just curious though, what was my argument and how did I contradict it?
+Dylan Gibson What do you mean?
+Bill Smith I don't really know I pretty much just typed that without even thinking
+Bill Smith I don't really know I pretty much just typed that without even thinking
This song nine years ago had no relevance in my life and i just put it on just and felt something amazing i hear you hop thank you brother
I listen to this every time I loose faith, but always faith always gets redeemed!!!
This song is what most of us think in our minds but never say..
Isaak, studied but never read...
*+Isaak*
Ooh, I see, so you are one of those people striving to become wizard at Hogwarts after reading Harry Potter. Makes sense.
I just confessed to my super religious friend that I don’t know what to believe....
I just want to comment: it is what some of us think, but don't know how to say :)
Isaak, I bet you read the bible like a dictionary and not from beginning to end which is what I was implying by "study vs read" comment. Most Christians don't read of the Bible but claim they do.
