@@ElectroBlissMusic Hopsin was part of a long standing label called Funk Volume (FV). Originally it featured Swizzz and himself. After, they added Jerren Beton. And finally they added Dizzy Wright. As the four of them teamed up, they decided to get a manager named Dame, who happens to be Swizzz's brother. Unfortunately, few people on the back end of things saw how Dame was shady with how he handles the team (in fact another unpopular rapper "The Joker" made a rap song revealing this). Hopsin's suspicions grew for a while until he started asking Dame specific questions about FV's financial status. And the continued shadiness/lack of honesty/fairness of how the money was split was how Hopsin lost respect for the management and led him to make this song.
This song has pulled me through some seriously hard times, more than once. It motivates me. It regenerates me. I am sure I am not your standard fan but I just wanted to say thank you!

PaleDale sorry man, i know there are plenty of more rappers out there, i just feel like the wrong people are getting the most fame.
PaleDale I doubt this has anything to do with any of it, but maybe bc Hopsin isn't corrupted by the fame and all the money and everything , maybe that's why his lyrics are so real , and all the others just say hoes and drugs and weed and cars. I doubt it , but it could be
probably hopsins best hook honestly it's so good
agree
+The LR Project imo great rapping but the hook weak af
check out Nate Dogg bro
Lyrics 4uTv fam i been know about nate dogg one of the hook gawds
KawaiiMLG idk i can see that tbh since some say they don't like it but i really like it along with the synthesisers in the background of the hook
"Ain't got time for your bullshit, everybody know you be on it."
I love this line.
Kinda disappointed saying this...but this was my first ever introduction to Hopsin. After that, looked him up, all the way from funk volume(sag my pants) to even daxe's collab. The most underrated rapper ever!!
Wouldn't know what I would do if I found him in 2020
Better late then never man, I've been listening to hop for years and he saved me from listening to that mainstream shit
10 plus years with guy.... That's why not all millenials are all the same lol
this is the hopsin the world has been waiting for .
🙌
True af
No way... Why is Hopsin heading to mainstream rap. You people ain't true Hip-Hop fans...
+Bernardo Ferreira how is this even close to anything in the mainstream right now?.....calm tf down.
+Bernardo Ferreira "mainstream" lol so what is good?
You know why people won't work with him, he speaks nothing but the truth. One of the greatest unknown artist
He is the king of underground rap

Bro I listened to this close to when it all happened as a kid then as a teenager with a old friend 4 years ago an somehow this year almost 52 months later I have listened again but for a purpose the end is so important. Hopsin is extremely underrated to the wrong ppl

Retarded comment
If hopsin monetized his channel he would make a shit ton of money.
99 percent sure he already has
Oh, I just don't recall seeing anything before his videos. I could be wrong though.
***** How so? Sorry, I'm not entirely sure how it all works.
***** But I've never seen ads before his videos, at least not to my recollection. I understand how the monetization works etc, I just thought you meant they still get paid even if no ads are playing. I'm confused haha
***** Oh right I see. Thanks for the heads up, I never knew that.
I’m glad he stood up for himself much respect

What! you going to start to fire shots now?
The song came out 5 years ago and it is still so relevant today
But it's not though. If you kept up with Hopsin, they already hashed this all out! It's not relevant anymore. It still is fire, don't get me wrong. A great song. But the topic has been discussed and they have came together to hear each other out and explain their feelings etc to move on. It's all on funk volumes channel if you ever want to listen. A good interview for sure. Especially knowing about this song and their history.
@@gicueN17R0 I was talking about the last part of the song really when he talks about making changes and moving on to the unknown that's not comfortable anymore I should've made that clearer
In terms of betrayal, I couldn't agree more with you. You know... in my own personal experience, I don't know exactly why but every time I listen to this song, someone in my life actually betrays me. I don't know if it's some sort of curse or if this song is like holy water to me that reveals friends who aren't good to me at all and I should've cut off long time ago. But I'm not joking. Literally every time I listen to this song, someone evidently betrays me. And it's either from my friends or family.
Really?
Art decorates space and Music decorates time.

What was he apart of before the solo act? Worth checking out? Seriously here after listening to eminem's track talking hopsin. So far dude is sick
He became a sell out. Jokerr made diss tracks about it.

That ending is literally the best part. It's 100% real. What worked 5 years ago won't necessarily work today. That's the realest thing any rapper has ever said.
