I am a 34 year old woman and only felt the Holy Spirit when I was 33. I felt and saw the demons and darkness before I even knew God existed quite literally. It gave me great strength and in the complete darkness and the thought of how much love I had for my child only then I heard Gods faint whisper go to church. I become born again I am now 34 nearly 35. My daughter is 6.5 years and God is a massive part of her life. I wish I had her faith when I was her age. It’s enabled me to transmute the trauma, pain and generational trail to help me heal and heal my bloodline. It’s also enabled me to help raise my daughter to believe that anything is possible as long as you have your faith and connection to God. Nothing or no one can steer you off your path. It’s given her great strength to lean on him and will continue to give her great strength into her own life. Life happens situations happen. But I now know there’s always a reason behind Gods plan. Last year,my sister had hard pregnancy. Her life and her baby's life were at extremely great risk "this is nothing I've seen before. I don't give you hopes. Get ready for everything " doctor said. My family was devastated as days would go past. At some point my sister was bleeding, doctor called me,I was home and mum too. In order for her not to see me crying, I was staying out it the rain,and as I was trying to sneak out towards the hospital without my mum realising it I said to her " I'm just going out to see a friend". I guess my mum believed me. I had no hopes,so tearing down ,heading towards the hospital, I'd hear this song,again and again and again,and guess what GOD heard me,and both my sister and my niece are at great health. I feel that is hard. Because when I have been honest with Him, I have felt shame afterwards, like He tells me "How dare you speak to me like that. You know so little. You should be ashamed". So clearly my view on God is wrong in some senses.. Because that is not how God is portrayed in the Bible.

I never used to read it before, just take in what I always heard from others but when I did start reading God's word for myself, especially in the segments where Jesus would speak... it's so strange. I started to see what he was all about. How he could be gentle, direct, kind, exasperated, sometimes even cheeky haha. I started to feel like I was getting to know his character and like he was speaking to me though his word personally. Almost like I was there too, being taught and directed. It's kind of ironic huh? But religion doesn't save us. Rituals and traditions can't clense us from how lost and imperfect we are. Only Jesus can. But God has already bought and paid for us in blood. All he wants us to do is to repent and turn from our old ways and follow him. Yes I have a church, a pastor and friends in the church but ultimately I have to keep my heart right with God. It's an individual choice I make every second of every day. And as humans our lives and choices are intertwined. Sad to say but not everyone makes good choices and there is a fallout from that which affects others. It's a ripple effect. I'm so sorry for what you have been through and the pain it has caused you. Please don't stopped seeking God and asking questions.
Just because it does require faith to serve God doesn't mean that we are unable to have questions. Christianity doesn't mean perfection. We all have questions and God is not bothered by that. He is our heavenly Father who in love will sit down with us and listen. In those moments is when he can lead us and guide us. Sometimes our questions may not be answered. But that's not to say that we cannot ask.

Last year,my sister had hard pregnancy. Her life and her baby's life were at extremely great risk "this is nothing I've seen before. I don't give you hopes. Get ready for everything " doctor said. My family was devastated as days would go past. At some point my sister was bleeding, doctor called me,I was home and mum too. In order for her not to see me crying, I was staying out it the rain,and as I was trying to sneak out towards the hospital without my mum realising it I said to her " I'm just going out to see a friend". I guess my mum believed me. I had no hopes,so tearing down ,heading towards the hospital, I'd hear this song,again and again and again,and guess what GOD heard me,and both my sister and my niece are at great health. We could not believe it,doctors either,but GOD believed in us. So,no doubt God exists. Thanks DAX for bringing got to us with your songs.

I never used to read it before, just take in what I always heard from others but when I did start reading God's word for myself, especially in the segments where Jesus would speak... it's so strange. Yes I have a church, a pastor and friends in the church but ultimately I have to keep my heart right with God. It's an individual choice I make every second of every day. He is our heavenly Father who in love will sit down with us and listen. In those moments is when he can lead us and guide us. Sometimes our questions may not be answered. But that's not to say that we cannot ask.
