Favorite part of the video was after the camera shook...cut to black and "Fun fact...". Laughed till I cried! Love your channel, love watching Tanner and glad all is well!
My local track is currently being demolished. Concord Motorsports Park was a 1/2 mile dirt track originally then eventually paved. It's shaped like a 1/2 mile Pocono and located not far from the Charlotte Motor Speedway. I'm going to miss going to those races. Glad to see I-70 getting a rebirth. I loved racing on the track on my old Nascar computer game. Great 1/2 mile. Super fast for its size. Looks even better with dirt and sprint cars.
That is a nice track, I didn't see much passing, nail it and sail . Keep at it Tanner your getting some good experience at these new tracks. Good luck on the trip.
Good to hear Tanner was ok. If you like the big tracks, check out Calistoga in CA. I think they canceled the races there this year, maybe next year NARC and WOO will be back. Petaluma Speedway is close by to check out too
It's an eye opener that's for sure. Nothing like heading into turn 1 at Knoxville and seeing that big white fence staring back at you. Comparing it to a PA track, I'd go with Port Royal. Williams Grove is a paperclip with super long straights and tight corners. You live and die at the Grove on your motor. Port Royal is fast but the corners are such that you can move around and take advantage of a better set-up car.
Rolling Wheels speedway in upstate N.Y. holds the world record at 145 mph average speed done by Paul Machmon on a 5/8 mile track, Billy Pauch had the world record at the Syracuse mile at 144 mph plus until Machmon broke it!
Havent been there since back in the late 70's we took a late model from ohio to a big race!, several nascar drivers along with Marty Robbins raced as well!. It's hard to believe its dirt now, looks bad ass!.
It was opened originally in 1969, stayed asphalt till the mid 80's, then they topped it with dirt for a few years. But they returned to asphalt until the mid 2000's when it closed.
Paul Mchahan holds the world record at 145 mph+ at Rolling Wheels raceway in up state a 5/8 mile track N.Y., Billy Pauch had the world record at 144 mph+ at the Syracuse mile until Mchahan broke it, Rolling Wheels is only about 10 miles from the Syracuse mile!
That looks like a great track! If you’re going to give a shout out to somebody that brought your dinner then at least give them a proper shoutout by using their name. 😀. I just teasing you. Glad Tanner is ok. Great video and thanks for sharing.
If you go racin', you will wreck at times. Unfortunate for Tanner. Was wondering what happened as Flo barely showed the incident. Glad he's ok. Glad the car can be repaired. Take it out on Missouri State Fair Speedway. 😁
Is that track 9/16 mile? Just thinking about how the old vets of this sport (Kinser, Swindell, Haudenschild) thought they were fast when they were turning 100 mph laps back in the day. Look at the drivers today, freakin' FLYING!
You referring to Lincoln Speedway? Cuz Williams Grove, Selingsgrove, and Lernerville are all trash tracks. Not to mention all it mostly does in Pennsylvania is rain. Not being a Debbie Downer just speaking truth.
@@T1C45 define trash track....dont forget all the other tracks port royal, susquehanna (Baps) grandview, path valley central pa has and has had for decades some of the best dirt track racing in the country....I'm prolly a bit bias because its home but just speaking truth

Oh , wait till you get to Knoxville you talk about food OMG , don't dare asked them if it is Texas beef in there burgers , not good ...............
Sooooo you keep saying team and I have yet to see you with a wrench/tire gauge or anything that would help the car just curious to what it is that you do
I don’t think I really need to explain myself but a lot of work gets done behind the seens in the shop and during wash days and maintenance. Roger is the crew chief, Carly helps do labor on the car and John helps as well throughout the race night and I help tanner film everything.
I’ve seen and talked with Bennett at the track. He’s definitely part of the team. We obviously can’t see him with a wrench in his hand because he’s the one filming. When the cameras not rolling he’s helping.
Soooo you think in order to be a team member you have to wrench on the car? Man oh man have you got it all wrong. Pretty bold comment from someone that watches these races for free. How ironic your profile name is. A "Gentleman" would have commented "Keep your head up TEAM & getm' next time".
I'm so happy to I70 back open !!!!

I was there cheering him on. I was so bummed he couldn’t finish the race but I am so glad I got to see him race
Great video first time you popped up on my you tube channel absolutely loved it . Hope to see more
Tomorrow’s Knoxville video is a banger!
@@bennettgooch8927 thanks mate I will definitely watch . I enjoyed the 1 I saw

Man that track is fast! Glad you are ok bud . Get some rest then get after it again. God Bless you all
In person it is unbelievable how fast this place is
That place is freaking huge!!! Glad Tanner is ok. Looked pretty Knarly!! Great job on the video, buddy.

Glad everyone was ok. Scary impact.
God damn those little cars are fast
👍👍👍👍❤️He always has a plan for us❤walk proud ❤
Glad hes ok tough lick
By far the best race I've seen Tanner run (before the crash) '
Definitely going forward. Even caught & passed CJB McMahon.
Can't wait to see your reaction when you roll into Knoxville.

Glad you were ok Tanner, the car is fixable. That track was definitely fast. Better luck next race.
Bro your video skills are really improving with every post.
You should go to Devils Bowl Speedway in mesquite Texas my dad works as the wrecker! :D
That's a big 1/2 mile it used to be pavement but the track sat dormant for years took the new owners a couple years to get it back to raceable
Yessir! You're in the BBQ heaven!

Steve did your driver make the feature at that big race in the 70s?

Great video Bennett
So this is, what, a half-mile track? it's scary fast!
Yes I-70 is a half mile high banked
Now, that’s a place where you gotta have a wheel borrow to haul your nuts in with. Dang they flying
That is certainly a big fast track but you should have seen 410's at the Syracuse mile. That was insane speed.

I was going to go to this race but couldn't confirm Tanner was going to be there hope he's alright I'm typing and watching haven't seen the wreck yet

I was ur first comment, first view, and first like!!!!
Awesome job on the video Bennett. You need some quality camera gear, I believe you have a nack for this camera work.
I know this camera is really good I am looking at upgrading lenses that’s all I need but as you know it’s all money haha

Neat track. But I still find the Waynesfields/Limalands of the world better to watch. More action, more passing...including lapped traffic.
And if you want scary fast atomic speedway with the high banking is the way to go
@@sillygoose2508 I love Atomic! Wish all stars or outlaws would return there.
@@chuckg6039 me to why did they stop coming to atomic

Ugly rolling tin billboards with wheeld
IMO this track is way to fast for Sprint car racing. Leave the big 1/2mile tracks to the big dogs. Knoxville and Eldora
I'm sorry but you're not a very good cameraman you need to work on that just some constructive criticism nice video
So please give her some detailed areas you believe could be improved. Not just some vague comment.
Don’t worry I’m not a cameraman I’m a race car driver.
