"Too much" Stagger is good for the bottom. You made a sweet move around 3 n 4, going from 17th to 13th. Then, for some reason, you took it to the cushion, and gave back all that you gained. You need to trust your setup, and race there.
Tanner, at least you didn't lose any positions, racing against the best of the best. Carly is looking and acting more like your crew chief all the time. God Bless you both and stay safe.🏁💯👏
This is why I like watching you and Carly's channels, your both very humble and honest. Makes for entertaining and fun content, even when the nights go south a bit.
Kiddo, it was great to surprise you and the family after I flew to the Midwest to catch a couple nights of racing. You forgot to mention it was 107 degrees at 6pm. It was HOT. And you're right about how fast the cars run. First thing I noticed at my first half mile track experience. 😁😁
Holy crap Tanner. I sure wish you could get your videos out sooner but I understand and expect the first concern is racing and then videos are down the line. I just desperately want to hear what happened at the final night of the 360 nationals. Either way, keep you head high and be humbly grateful for what was going down out there. I know you won’t read this but DO NOT get down on yourself. Nothing negative needs to be said about you at all, especially from yourself. You guys are doing great out there. Very thankful to watch the story about a kid from a Oregon giving it a go. I can’t even describe my gratitude for being able to watch your channel and see your story. Man I love racing and you have rekindled my passion for the game after setting it aside for decades. Thank you Tanner for all you do and all your team does to make it amazing again in my life. Can’t wait to see you race again at the WoO show in Elma. I’ll be there cussin and yelling again for you like so many do👍
Congratulations on a great drive at the Knoxville 360 championships. Sorry something happened near the end that hurt a great run on your part. Hopefully that jinx is out of the way and this weeks Nationals will be excellent. Best wishes.
Well hopefully you get to run on the Belleville High Banks Speedway in Kansas. That place is most certainly fast, and 410 sprint cars are for sure moving on that BIG track! I got to see the NCRA 410s run that track twenty years ago! I would also say Salina High Banks Speedway in Oklahoma should be on the list to run as well, because I have seen the WoOs sprint cars run there too. Which they were moving there too!
I went to Salina one night just for a weekly show with modifieds, pure stocks and late models and I swear by all things holy that’s the fastest dirt racing I’ve ever seen by those guys let alone a 1400lb rocket with 900 horse
I seen you pass Kahne. He was one of NASCARs best. I might have a ring or two from a couple All-Star races we won in the early 2000s 😉 Keep learning. Looked like when the track got slick you weren't in the track like others. You do seem to getting better at finding your rhythm quicker in your heat races. Will hopefully be watching Knoxville this week if my tv app works.
I grew up near Flemington Speedway in NJ and used to go there nearly every weekend with my dad and brother. I wasn't there for this, but in 1989, Doug Wolfgang set the track record in a winged sprint car. Flemington was a 5/8ths mile, black clay "rectangle", shaped like Indianapolis, with "short chutes" (straights) between 1&2 and 3&4. Doug set the lap record at 15.860 seconds, which is an average speed of 141.866 MPH! Now that's haulin' the mail in a sprint car :) ruclips.net/video/QWTj1i7fALg/видео.html Cheers, Sev
The only things that I can think that might help the wheel spin would be to soften the rear bars so weight tranfers to the back better or you might want to block it lower in the back.
Think about add to your notes where the leader ran on lap 10 lap 20 & lap 30 use that as your starting point next time you're there. try to view who won the previous year and where they ran. Can Help keep you from doing the old hunt & peck.. Do stay positive, stay ctommited and run like you stoled it..
Howzit : I-70 ... Wattan AWESOME track ! As a matter of interest; what other race categories / classes run with youse Sprint boyos ? Perchance; do you watch and observe so as to suss-out your race-settings from their on-track performances ? Lakka + Cheers For Now / Johnny 🤙
Hauling the mail! When you get a track we're you are unlimited in throttle control, and only lines, your practicing for Indy buddy. Constentration refinement!
This track, if memory serves, was paved and a Nascar lower class track, meaning not cup nor bush, like a Nascar midwest series...then it sat vacant for decades, then was torn up n made dirt. I remember driving up to it in the 90's past the closed barriers, grass was growing in the concrete surface, place was in shambles...we actually thought it would b razed and the land sold for other purposes like I-80 speedway was...but dirt is what it became.
It does not matter where you finished, only that you learned something. Progress takes time. Mix it up with a brain storm with Carly, she's got more info to share than you may figure. A few have mentioned, keep diggin. Well, here a response to that quote; They are absolutely right, 100%. Only, find where your car gets that forward bite and then......let it dig in.....
Beautiful facility, but the track sucks bc it’s way too fast and big to attract weekly racing. Local guys will not run it since it eats equipment. Lucas Late Models shortened the feature last year bc the motors were overheating due to speed/pace.

You’re very honest on all aspects, never looking for excuses or some one to blame.🇬🇧

Good times at the track. Keep up the good work. I've noticed a big difference since I first started watching you guys.
WOW !!! 6th fastest in Thursday qualifying at the Knoxville Nationals !!!! Fabulous !!!!
No wonder they have so many tornados in the mid-west, they all start at tracks like this.
Hey you just might be onto something🤔
How about Eldora that track has the highest banked corners I've ever seen? Go get em Tanner. 🎉

The qualifying lap looked smooth and car pointed straight. I thought it woulda been a faster lap.
LET'S GO!
✌🏼
Keep digging.

Are you racing at English creek tonight with qrc
Tanner - you gotta practice that pill-pulling. /smile

Tanner on these big tracks I really believe you are getting out horse powered by the big teams that are running up front.
Who does the video's when your racing ??
The fell is fast I know what ur talking about it's a felling u get from going around the track
Should have followed the 8 car ( Ritcell?) when he passed you and run his line.
Keep digging!!
Curious, what does 17th pay?
It sounds like you’re enjoined is pulling down a lot in the corners, I think it could use a taller gear !
👍🏻
I wish you could get the rpm on the screen during qualifying
I was there this track is dumb fast
When is the husets vid dropping
I want to build a race track around LETHBRIDGE, Alberta, Canada someday I think I’m gonna build it just like that track.

YOU REALLY NEED A GOOD CREW CHIEF AND DRIVER COACH TO HELP YOU GET BETTER.
I need a sprint car fix
Years ago it was even faster
I am from Iowa we do not get that much sprint car action I live in the southern part of Iowa
You haven’t been to Port Royal then!
Set the car up for low fuel load on half mile.
selinsgrove wide open to
Why does all ypur videos is like watching paint

I think you analyze to much; just wheel it and go for it. I think you can deal with the big boyz ... just do it!
Mario Andretti quote; if your comfortable you're not going fast enough
