This video was filmed, directed, and edited by Joshua Britt and Neilson Hubbard for Neighborhoods Apart Productions. It was filmed live in a the director's home outside of Nashville, TN. The live audio was recorded by Dylan Allredge. This song was originally written by The 1975 and appears on their album, 'A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships.'

Since the title was bestowed by Chet, not likely. And for someone to revive it - say Tommy for example - it would be asking for trouble. There are so many deserving - Richard Smith, Martin Taylor, Lawrence Juber, Michael Daws, Billy Strings, Joscho Stephan, Doyle Dykes, Andy McKee, Jack Pearson… and the list goes on. Plus, you need to be considered at or near the top of the heap to presume to give such an award. Nope, this was a one time honer given by the living legend of the time.

As a kid in the 80's, in Australia. We all appreciated Tommy's amazing abilitys. To seeing him play and meeting him several times in the 90's. To now, seeing him in Nashville being embraced by some of the worlds greatest guitarists. Is just, such a joy to see and it warms my heart. So humble, so funny and nicest guy you'll ever meet.
We love him over here! He's a treasure.

I wish I had been introduced many years ago but a dear friend musician guitarist, recommended him to be one day, and I haven’t stopped listening sense. It’s September 21 and tonight I am in a hotel in Bristol Tennessee after driving nine hours from my home in New Jersey. Tomorrow I will be in Nashville, attending my second guitar camp hosted by the great Tommy Emanuel! For the next four days I will be interacting with Tommy and his guest instructors and performers as well as an auditorium full of guitar players possessing various levels of guitar playing. This video is a great kick off to what is in store. Thank you Mike and thank you Tommy! And I’ll be seeing Tommy tomorrow in Nashville! 🙏

Just watched an interview with Mike and Tommy. According to Mike, they had just finished a recording session of four songs they had been doing together and had time to do a fifth so Mike went to go get coffee and in the time he was gone, Tommy found this song and start working out an arrangement and when Mike came back, they recorded it, and what sounded like a single take. An amazing story,

That was different, and very nice. The more I hear of your playing together the better your collaborations sound. Less and less like to two great guitarists showing off individual skills as you transform into a true duet. It's a wonderful thing to watch and hear.

I can’t believe my luck. Tommy and Mike are playing at the Coach House 60 miles from me on Dec 15, and I was able to get tickets for me and my 2 kids. A great way to kick off the Christmas season. I would have gone to see either one individually.

I didn't know this tune. After five times watching this, it's well absorbed into where we hold nice tunes. Tommy Emmanuel's guitar has an almost "Celtic in the glen" sound - incredible that he composes a perfect improvised tune, inside a perfectly executed tune by Dawes.
