    I switched to the bass after decades of guitar and when anyone asks 'Isn't it easy and boring after guitar?' I just send them a link from you playing higher ground or something. You have helped me get more and more interested in all the bass can be. When I run out of ideas, which is often, I just click on one of your videos and am never disappointed. Thanks.

    Dude, your channel rules. Really enjoyed this. I have been playing guitar for 30+ years. Just started focusing on bass after getting the kala u bass. Love this groove

    I've been playing for over 10 years and never even considered muting with the fretting hand. Cool tip!

    i think reggae it' s the most difficult genre among "happy songs" to play on bass
    and this triads are very interesting.

    I can easily play that by just watching but I don't know cords or notes and I want to. Where do I start in your videos?

    How often do you change you're strings? Is once every 3 weeks too much?
    Thanks for these type of lessons. they build great vocabularyt

    • @joshfossgreen
      @joshfossgreen  8 лет назад

      It depends on what sound you want. I change my strings a lot less often than that, more like every 2-3 months. Depends on how much money you want to blow on strings too. :)
      Also, I use Elixir strings, which I think last a lot longer than other brands I've tried - amzn.to/1Qu5NEy

      If you're playing reggae, you really should have flats. No need to change them for years either.

    • @joshfossgreen
      @joshfossgreen  7 лет назад +2

      That's a good note since this comment was on this video. The bass I'm playing isn't actually set up for reggae properly, I just do my best to fake it with technique and slightly tubbier EQ in post. Don't bring a Cirrus with fresh roundwounds to a reggae audition. :)

      Dam that's too much🤣😂...no dont do that. Change it about every 5 or 7 months i.m.o.p...or once a year

      I am getting to our website, but it loads very slowly. Once I click the link for the .pdf It just shows the loading line and save button. When I press the button it just crashes.

      Hey, I'm a little stumped. Just ran the site through a couple sites like this and seemed to be loading acceptably fast: gtmetrix.com/
      I've tried changing some caching settings, maybe give it another go now. Thanks for following up and sorry for the dumbness.
