Brian, I'm so glad that you followed up and made the Minor Triad lesson too! I learned so much from the Major Triad lesson. Thanks for making this video!
Brian.. another great lesson that takes it above and beyond!! Again, so many videos lack what you just demonstrated. Noting/showing the changes on the screen was a huge visual aide! I was glued to your lesson from start to end!! Thank you Sir!
all your lessons are packed with things to learn and the whole members package is fully comprehensive. compared to old school with a personal tutor this is saving time and money. excited
Brilliant lesson. Love the graphics while playing in real time. The clue to the song title was discretely referred to by use of the "staircase" shape.😉
Brian. Very useful lesson - Really good to add to lasst week to help us all to jump our journey in an advanced way. Love the dreamy feel of the composition .On a parr with EP 463. Thanks again Brian. Tony
Oh my gosh, Brian...I am NOT ready to start thinking about relative minors of different Major chords! (While I'm still trying to get the hang of all this other stuff!) Yes, I'm doing quite well on my actual playing technique, but I'm still having trouble remembering the "Circle of Fifths" and such...! In other words, playing the notes is one thing, but doing that while thinking about theory is another. I am making progress, however! Thanks to you! 👍 👌 PS: I've gotta say, I LOVE how you wrapped it all up, the 2 lessons on triads (and related revelations), where you played a song and annotated (overlaid) what you were playing on top of the video. That was GREAT! It really brought the 2 lessons home for me. I've also gotta say that you're doing a LOT of work making these lessons! I mean, I keep making up all kinds of nice sounding songs that I want to "take somewhere," but the next day I can't even remember lots of them! Plus you're making and editing videos, making (and tabbing out) the "jam tracks" and all the rest of the materials.... I mean, it must be a Full Time job! (An awesome FT job!) I hope you're getting paid (by us) as much as you should be, plus all the fun you must be having.... At least you're getting enough to buy lots of guitars, anyway...! Lucky dude! See?! All that hard work you've put in over the years really is paying off. I'm thrilled for ya! Keep it up!
Wonderful lesson, Brian! So much fun to learn that way, especially that the exercise sounds a bit like one of my favorite songs (Back to Black) 😎 Love the graphics, very helpful! 💕
The puzzle master......constantly putting the pieces together...i thought the last part showing the graphics as you were playing was a nice edition to put it all together...nice job
Thanks Brian - great lesson. I'll be joining up - not so much for what I can learn but for what you have already shown me! Line Cliche - I had never heard of it until I recently saw another video (PD) on "My Funny Valentine"... it uses it too... doubt that is still in copyright... anyway thanks so much (will take a few weeks to process all the information)
This is a GREAT lesson! Thank you. A couple of suggestion. in the min 7:14 (And the you come up to the C shape) I think you meant to the D shape. And the last one is: For some reason mi mind needs the graphics upside down like matching the fretboard of your guitar I think it would be so much easier to understand the shapes that way. I am finally learning this CAGED system. I think this last two lessons are the best you can find on the net by far. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Once I know lesson 1 & 2 of Triads are amazing, how do I tie it all together with the underlining pentatonic (And diatonic) scales? Do you have a lesson on your site I can reference for that? Triads, pentatonic and diatonic together?
For such a good teacher, maybe the best on RUclips, I can’t understand why your fret board diagrams are upside down and backwards. What’s up with that? Makes it really hard to follow.
I understend only 1 think.. you play a chord but if the lowest note change cange the Mood Is like a painter Who have a color and if put more White o more black change the darkness pr the lithners of the colore.. right?!
Nice guitar but if that's a Fender copy I hope the company gets sued out of existence. I've never seen a Fender model based on a particular player (e.g. Eric Clapton or David Gilmore) that doesn't have the Fender logo on the front of the headstock. Although the first part of the name does look like it reads "Dave....."
Brian, I'm so glad that you followed up and made the Minor Triad lesson too! I learned so much from the Major Triad lesson. Thanks for making this video!
Finally --I have found your MINOR TRIAD video ---its the next stage after your great video on major triads---thankyou Brian !
Ok, those three sections on using minor triads over major chords to get different sounds is GOLD
Brian.. another great lesson that takes it above and beyond!! Again, so many videos lack what you just demonstrated. Noting/showing the changes on the screen was a huge visual aide! I was glued to your lesson from start to end!! Thank you Sir!
Brian, been following you for years; your lessons are getting better and better. Thanks for the turorials.
One of the best triad lessons I have seen, thank you Brian!
Very impressed with these triad videos Brian. You have really changed the game for me. Thank you for sharing your awesome guitar wisdom!
Probably the best lesson about triads. Thx from France.
all your lessons are packed with things to learn and the whole members package is fully comprehensive. compared to old school with a personal tutor this is saving time and money. excited
It couldn't be said that I was up to watching an instructional video. It was well worth my time. Thank you, Brian!👏💯
Really great lesson - eye opener for what minor triads you can play over a major chord - fantastic!
Fantastic lessons Brian. This is exactly where I am in my journey. Thank you so much for showing me the next step 🙌🏼
Best free lessons on the internet. Thank you Brian
No doubt! Best paid lessons also. The tab viewer is one of the best in the business...imo.
@@burr0010 Agreed
That triad lick was awesome! really enjoyed that style and use of what you are so passionately trying to teach us,thankyou!
i really like chord diagrams, & position instructions at final song example
Fantastic tutorial Brian, once again you nailed it.
Great lesson! Making great connections with the triad info, super helpful. That's a beautiful guitar too 🤘

At the 7:14 mark that’s the C shape - that Triange triad is in both the C and D shape
Dan Strain is the man!
The song is in F sharp minor , B minor , C sharp major and F sharp minor
These are such great lessons.
Great lesson. Can you revisit double stops? Thirds, fourths, sixths. Thanks
Hi Brian listen to this song I will use this exercise on triads on the rhythm of Azzamchik Salam Aleykum
Very clear lesson .
Thank you Brian!
I could hear. Roy. Buchanan. Vibe at the end of your lesson I think it was soul dressing
Nice🎉😊!!!Thanks🔥
15:21 min 'so those are all major chords but they have a minor triad that lives inside them' SINISTER
Fab. Arpeggios next please
However the G Minor " C" shape in two places has me totally lost__have to rewind several times to get this complication right !
Thats at 4 : 19 on minor triad video ---
