Thai you for the props we really appreciate that from one polisher to another , if you like I could send over the specs on the wheel racks let me know be blessed brother
Good work yall are a beast with the polishing, I been following you for awhile I polish in Dallas Texas myself. I gotta come check halls work out in person sometime
I have a question when you polish fuel tanks on a truck do you just polish what you can with the polisher and just leave the back of the tank dirty or how do y'all get behind the tank thanks
Sammy i polished a peterbilt 379 hood grille surround. Afterwards in the sunlight there was stripping that went vertical. How can i fix that. Also the stainless part is stained what do you recommend to bring it back to shiny. Thank you for your time .
Yes we definitely try to clean on the backside of the tanks with the acid wash or aluminum Breitner unless the customer specifies who also Polish the inside of the tank
Hi i learn alot with your video's i just found you but thank God i did cuz i want to ask how much can i charge to compund a freightliner Colombia paint and then polish it
I've owned a business doing metal polishing I am a truck driver one thing about the Ozzy polisher is that you have to loosen up the valve stem in order to polish around it because the bonnets or pads whatever you want to call them end up hitting it you end up taking a big risk and liability of valve stem not ceiling backup with the rubber grommet and causing either a loss in pressure and damaging a tire or going through an inspection and then finding a small leak then the drivers the one that gets the ticket
Roughly how much does it cost to have four 15" wheels polished that are in bad shape? I would do it myself but don't have the tools. By the way awesome vids!!!
Poison Okie you can wetsand the rims. Probably start out with 100 or 150 wet or dry sandpaper. Then go to a maybe 220 grit. Then maybe down to 300 the even to 600 an even 800 grit paper. Use a spaybottle with soap an water an keep the surface wet. Then when it gets really slick use a good metal polish. Bill in tx.
Stewart hi and thanks for your question. The best way for us to get rid of the black carbon is by washing and lightly scubing with some mild low base cleaner like a diluted acid if the chrome is in good shape we would polish with a white none treated airway wheel and a white rogues compound but be real careful because it is possible to buff right though the chrome and exposing the copper underneath ok hope this helps
Great work first off .My truck wheels are Alcoa pre polished factory u already know .In the beguining they looked good now they are so scratched up and look horrible .Is there any hope for those pre cromes ones .thank youu
hey Sammy thanks for the great vids. question I sanded and started with yellow wheel and brown bar did the tank then switched to white wheel and green bar and it looks awesome whipped it down with mineral spirit and in some spots u can see a faint line. am I moving to fast or not fast enough in that spot?
TK Hi and thank you for the comment Hay what is your name? Hay can you post a picture of the work piece so I can see what we are talking about, there can be many things going on.
Most of the time with Polish the bottoms in the belly of the tank are the only exception if the customer does not want it done to bring down cast I hope this helps thanks for the question
The way I do it is and keep an eye on my travel pattern where my wheel has just polished and i can tell when it’s lacking the cutting power also i have learned to time when i need to apply more compound i hope this helps you can always call me if you need more clarification ok thank you

Thanks for the great video. Do you have any suggestions for removing black carbon stains from chrome exhaust stacks? Stewart
wash them with aluminum brightner.
Did you try diesel fuel or possibly paint thinner. That should get most of it off.
What compound are you using
Hi again Sammy what do you guys do with micro fibre cloths when done using do they go in washing machine or rubbish bin.
+Mark Chambers we use to wash them but we ended up with to many so we have our uniform companydo them, the really bad ones we throw away.

10 4 on valve stem I've been Driving 379 Peter built for 15 years I couldn't sleep at night if I were to cause a tire blow out like that.

As always nice video but Jack up those wheels and let the rim and tire spin. save your back
Thanks Bruce Lee
