    Hi
    Bhavna, you are right. I like your straight forward, clear pesonality. I am surprised how did Pinkal2all think you added more oil while we only saw four times as well. And I did make fafda with your recipe adding only 4 tbsp oil, and they were exactly looking like you. Unfortunately, I can't post the image. Otherwise I would have shown. To be hones, I tried many recipe from the net for fafda, not any singel recipe gave me result like yours.

    Sorry to puncture your Baloon but Sanchal is not Papad Khar or papadkharo. Sanchal is Rock salt and papad khar is another type of mined salt primarily used in Rajasthan and Gujarat to give a super taste and volume increase to Papads. Papad khar also reduces stickiness of papads.

  • @hkrtrivedi
    @hkrtrivedi 12 лет назад

    The other Lady who is not from Bardoli but Bharuch , confirmed that they also call Papad Kharo as Sancholo.You are right Ms. Bhavana.
    You stand vindicated Madam. . Thanks for being patient.

  • @hkrtrivedi
    @hkrtrivedi 12 лет назад

    Use Black salt or Kala Namak . But for thie purpose of making Fafda, you need to use only Papad Kharo or you can use Pinch of baking soda.

      saima V Actually, lot of confusion here. We Gujarati call Sanchoro to papad kharo and I know that Sanchar and Sanchoro is different. For this recipe, I use Papad kharo.
