    I haven't tried but I made with corn starch and it comes out better than other flours.

    you are so cute and fun to watch...when you started to make the halwa I could actually smell it..it is one of the very few typical indian sweets i like, thanks when I have ALOT of patience I will make this...very pretty

    It doesn't get super crispy or hard but it remains soft but still hold it's shape so if you can lift it, then it is done!

    Thanks for suggestion.. but i already prepared it.. it tastes great. My hubby liked it very much.. But true it takes time to dry.. next time will try with 1 cup of milk..

    Thank you for the reply, it is cold now as i live in UK... i rolled it thin.. followed the same recipe.. even it is tasting sooo good... only thing it is not hard thats all... as you said i will peel it and try keeping it in freezer for some time :)

    I honestly love you so much! I'm away from my home and mom you're the one who taught me everything! My mom always gets surprised whenever I make something beyond her expectations! Because I'm a lazy cat tbh 😂 it's hard to find that neighbour Aunty who helps every time here in Canada! But trust me you've made my life easier 😘😘😘 love love love

    hi shivani.. it works fine with sooji paste (when you grind it). it took around 3 days fro me get completly dried.

    It's hard to find Ghee Butter here.... As well as Paneer and other Indian spices and so on. I'm sure online somewhere serves it. Great recipe ideas. You are a great cook. Blessings.

      Quick question: After the mixtures gets lumpy and after adding ghee, I only have to cook it for another 4-5 mins right? Also, do you cool the mixture before putting it on the foil? Mine never dried up and it never became crispy, it raining loose. Please help!

    Actually, it doesn't turn brown so that's what I am worried about but other things sound ok. But you said it taste good so wait until it gets little dry and see.

      Yes it tastes great but if you want real texture, use corn starch instead of rava

      Since I don’t use corn starch much, I make with soji and that’s the reason I thought of sharing the video. Did you use fine variety of rava?
