Unfortunately, Derek sadly passed away this morning. Kate has been preparing for this moment for 4 years, and it's unfortunately become reality. Good news is, his suffering has ended. May God bless Derek.

Derek couldn’t ask for a better carer than Kate
What about the 4 other carers permanently living in the house..while she's out playing records at smooth radio

She’s shedding a light on the care system , which is going to help those who can’t afford help. She, herself, has recently said, the care for Derek may be terminated despite her wealth
She doesn't do as many interviews now but she did this because people were worried and asking about her.
