I’ve been using the Waterborne adapters for many years, though I set mine up very differently and I believe much better in performance in several ways. I had an epiphany about five years ago that because the front gets so much additional turning ability with the adapters, that the rear trucks no longer had to help with turning duties, and in fact could be reversed(flipped) to face the same as the front truck. This means the rears turn in the same direction as the front, but not as much. This resists any possible wobbles and instability at higher speeds and still retain the nimble handling as if it was normally setup. The rears will now turn into the corners, pushing under you giving support and maintain grip as they shoot for the exit rather than pushing outwards. During pumping and carving the rear makes a straighter path than the front, more like a real surf board. It’s the next level in handling for a surf-skate. Obviously this only works with the adapters or at least a surf style front truck; if the trucks are matched in turn ratio it would just crab sideways. Usually in skateboarding you have to choose maneuverability and carving at slower speeds or stability at high speeds. By reversing, or I should say UN-reversing the rear trucks gives you both if you use the adapters. Give it a try, it’s great to get feedback on this setup trick. Thanks!
it seems a good solution to do long distances, when I don't have the back railer (I prefer without to be lighter) I use an angled riser to reduce the turn. But to achive what you do I used the back railer completely locking the truck with a very stiff bushing ruclips.net/video/0ceaUErPXwc/видео.html ...I do this stuff just to experiment the speed, it pump a lot fadter and zero speed wobbles. but I still prefer some turn in the back truck to help with the snaps and turn in very small spaces. Thanks for sharing, is a good tip for who is without the backrail
@@SkateTherapy funny because I prefer using it with both the back rail and reversed in all situations now. The back rail seems necessary to me in order to allow enough lean for the front to work well.
@@sageoz9886 the back rail delay the turn of what ever you have behind I totally get that you like it, you could enjoy e very stiff bushing, it wouldn't matter the side of the truck and just changing the bushing you can get back to a very turny or not turny setup.
@@SkateTherapy stiff bushings don’t at all make up for stability when you need it, it’s just creating a higher threshold before it starts a cavitation in a speed wobble. Stiffer bushings just create more resistance to turning ability. True stability comes from wheel geometry, and having the wheels turn opposite the fronts will always create instability as opposed to turning with them which is inherently stable.
Thanks from Germany, great overview! Answered all of my questions about tkp, rkp and the rail adapter. Best you did in english. Stay save and protect your country!
Not sure why it took so long for the youtube algorithm to suggest this video, but cheers man! this is one of the most indepth reviews of the waterborne surf adapter i've seen! great job, and your English is great! also, I don't mind reading subtitles, that's how the world goes round man. reading is fundamental! I'm one of the early kickstarter backers, and I got the heavy bamboo 32inch complete and still struggling to learn how to pump correctly. Seeing how you do it effortlessly on so many different boards gives me lots of hope! Keep up the good work dude, greets from Amsterdam ;-)
Gracie, Skate Therapy! Such a good video about the Waterborne surf and deck adapters! Excellent information! And, GRACIE for your English version - much appreciated! Ciao!
9 month ago your video gave the finale impulse to decide for the Waterborne system and I don't regret anything about it: I had never tried a surfskate before but figured it out within minutes - I think I had an "unfair" advantage though because many years ago before I picked up skateboarding I had one of these 90's snakeboards/"streetboards" and riding a surfskate feels pretty much like riding something in between a snakeboard and a skateboard. However - the Waterborne system gave me many hours of joy, and sometimes I go out late at night to skate a short 50 metre stretch of asphalt around the corner for half an hour and end up returning 3 hours later. To roll up and down this stretch of road over and over again with a regular cruiser would be of little fun, but thanks to snaps and slide variations this flat road is as entertaining to me as a skatepark. Initially I skated my 30" cruiser + Waterborne with Randal style 160mm RKP trucks, but a few month ago a dude on the street had gifted me an early 1980's Alva "Bill Danford Mini" for some reason and its Variflex 180mm SKP trucks boosted the board even more - can't wait for the season to begin. All this is owed to your video only - thank you so much! 🖤
I've watched other Waterborne videos trying to explain the technology and keep coming back to this one again & again. Your 'spaghetti English' is delightful and fine! Then again, I watch foreign language films all the time with subtitles. Your technical understanding and demonstration of skating and Waterborne enriches my understanding. So I keep watching it and picking up new bits of understanding every time I watch this video. My main use is for exercise and "flat" pumping. I'm not a skate bowl or pump track user. Just cruising and rising on roads or smooth areas. I use a 22" Penny board which for many is considered unstable. But if one can ride a 22" Penny board, one can cruise almost anything. :)
Grazie mille, especially for redoing all your hard work over again in English for us plebs who can't speak Italian. The best review of the Waterborne that I have seen and very helpful for me as I have just bought the adapter set.
I ordered a waterborne adaptor a couple weeks ago. I can't wait for it to get here. It will be going on my 38" earthwing deck with 10" gullwing sidewinders and otang stimulus wheels. It's really been a bummer not being able to surf. I figure this will be the next best thing. Love the video.
I'm using my waterborne setup on a 9x34 "Cruiser'. Traditional trucks, 65mm wheels. I have the rear rail as well. Not got the technique of riddin it all down just yet but havin a lot of fun with it.
Hey! I live in Israel, just got the waterborn adaptor and put it on my Dechatlon cruiser, feels great, but I defenatly need to get in shape, pumping can be hard. I found youre video very usefull, ypu explained all the adventeges of the adaptor really nice. Thank you!
Thanks for these great explanations and your huge effort!! The best vid summerizing all the technical aspects of the stuff that was important to me. Greetings from Vienna!
Thanks for this vid in English. I just ordered the Waterborne adaptor to use on a 10x30 deck with Bones Mini cubic wheels. I might also get the rear rail if I think I need it.
Thanks for this incredibly informative video! I decided to switch my Beercan Bords Brewster 30" cruiser (a deck made of recycled aluminium with a completly seamless flexible wheelbase) on reverse kingpins to a surfskate - my waterborne adapter set will arrive tomorrow and you even increased my enthusiasm. Now I consider getting a second set for my 1970 MPI fiberglass/wood sandwich board on regular trucks.. 😅
Great vid. Been skating since 1978, longboarding since 2007. Had been using Paris and Gullwing on my longs, then got a Koastal Orca with Revenge trucks, and the difference and comfort was so amazing that I just cannot deal with traditional trucks anymore. Just discovered surf skate, been looking at tons of stuff, and feel these waterborne adaptors would be my choice so I can get to use my Arbor pintail again :) This vid gave me all the answers I needed, grazie mille!
Great review, very good perspectives and thank you for pointing out how unique their rail adapter is. I’m in California, first time I see your channel!
I actually watched one of your subtitled videos lol. You are awesome. It's nice to understand how the boards work. I'd love to see an explanation for how to make a two wheeled board like grilled or t-board
did you see this ruclips.net/video/ui4-TCu5GMU/видео.html I guess if you make the same for both trucks you are set, but will go in only one direction, to go backwards you need a special mechanism, hard to explain, it already exist
Great review: combination of technical substance and stoke! You covered all of the aspects - board, truck and combinations - really well. And it is entertaining! I just got the adapter, should be getting the deck in a few days. I'm thinking a wider deck might be better to lock in for the turns and lean, about 9.5"/242 mm wide, gentle radial concave and a 22.5"/572 mm wheelbase - a little more stable, but hopefully short enough to turn with good carving response and still allow using the kicktail (no flex, unfortunately). TKP front (Bennett, very divey and surfy already) - will try RKP and TKP in the rear and see which works better. Trying to decide between 5.0/129mm hanger width or 6.0/150 mm hanger width on the trucks. Trying to emulate a mid-length single fin egg kind of feel. Thanks for the inspiration! Grazie mille!
Brilliant Video just what I was looking for, ordered Paris V1 trucks and waterbourne adapter front and rear, really looking forward to get out skating again
Hi, great video and review man! Keep filming. Just want to know, among the sutfskate brands, which one would you recommend for surf-training? Smoothstar, Surfskate Industry, Waterborne,YOW, Curf-board or Slide? Which of these is closest to surfing? Thanks :)
Again and again you come up with these most informative videos. I very much appreciate what you are doing. The only problem would be how to manage the shipping to Turkey when I bought it.
I have the revenge alpha trucks, they are incredible, after many experiments, I end up using them in a dropthrough deck, the result is fantastic, I also have the Waterborne adapter and I love it, I am using it with a Bennet Vector truck, as a rear truck I am using a Tracker RTS with a dewedge
I move my revenge to a double kick cruiser 7.5 ..is a better match for the size and I use a 6inch tkp in the scorpion. The Bennett should feel great. Now they selle the scorpion with a wider truck
The best comprehensive review for this adapter. I have one question, in your experience, what effect does having a larger wheelbase, and even truck size, on the performance of the adapter when pumping? does it increase or decrease speed or acceleration?
a larger wheelbase reduce the acceleration on low speed, but it definitely improve the pumping when you are going faster, so on a longer deck you get higher top speed. For the truck size is more about stability, but the effect is similar, a narrow truck is easier to turn, but using less power you will get less speed and you also feel less confident as is easier to loose grip. Narrow trucks and short wheelbase are good for tight turn in short sessions, large trucks and long wheelbase are good for pumping in long distance.
Bonjourno and thank you for making this amazing video! Your explanation of the waterborne is excellent and helped me as a beginner to have a much better understanding of how it works, including the various trucks. I originally wanted to get a Carver board but due to the pandemic, they're really hard to find. Anyway, I ended up putting the adapter on a Atom Drop Through - 41 Inch - longboard. It's not really a cruiser and I tried it today and it wasn't very good at pumping. Is it me or do you think it's the wrong type of board? Appreciate any feedback from you maestro!

Hi! I use surfskate for exploring cities when I travel. I love the Yow truck and I use it with a 29 inch deck for portabilty. What would you think is the Best set up for exploring and comuting? Is the water borne truck better than the Yow for long distance pumping?
for long distance a longer deck is always better, but the waterborne also in short deck is the easiest thing to pump that I ever tried. However what you could do in you yow is to deweged your back truck with an angled riser, you would reduce the turning radius improving leaning and getting more grip, maybe less fun at low speed, but when you go faster you will feel the benefit with a much higher cruise speed and less effort.
@@SkateTherapy Great advice! Thanks. I was about to buy a new Yow but now I am really tempted with the water borne. Does the carbón fiber deck also make a huge differnece, or is it mainly the front truck?
@@simpleandar9687 the carbon fiber is lighter, but that's not so important, what is cool from this board, the scorpion, are the cuts in the tail which make it extremely flexible, in the start it feel weird, but soon you will appreciate it a lot, absorb every vibration and help in the pump and in smoothing every carve. However I find more interesting their longer deck, the gemini, as is shaped to avoid wheelbites being a drop through, that's something that you cannot achieve with another deck, cause the wood would be to fragile with those cuts on it, it should feel great to have this pump on a low rid, however I didn't try it ..but is a matter of taste, I must say the scorpion is for rider with experience, it is wild and you need to have total control of your balance cause if you go to deep in the carve you will loose it due to the truck size, too narrow for the leaning. To be clear this is a setup for smoothness and long distance pumping and extreme chill ...if you are more hardcore and like to feel the ground and sweat you may prefer other brands.
I have a 37" pintail with caliber 2 trucks and it honestly kind of is a bummer with the surfskate. The trucks are naturally stiff and high, so now the board is heavy and high and even though it can turn on a dime it doesn't feel manuverable. I am going to try smaller shorter trucks on the 37 inch deck and see if that helps. If not, the surf skate is going on my 30" cruiser with traditional kingpin trucks. I have a strong feeling that these things feel way more fun and maneuverable on smaller boards and I can't wait to try out that different combos.
I wish Waterborne included the 2x14mm risers and 2" bolts and nuts with the full kit (adapter and backrail), so we could experiment with both options. I decided to put this o my son's 31" deck and the backrail makes it too unstable). Now I can't find the bolts and nuts in that size to just use the front surf scate adapter.
the instability is a feeling, it actually make it more stable as for the same leaning the back truck will turn less, on the other hand it make it harder to slide. Anyway you can try to put harder bushings on the backrailer. I prefer it with harder busings in the board side, while those soft bushings are great in the truck
Hello Brother, Thank you for your video, very informative as usual. Well to be honest, though I have the Swelltech Surfskate, you made me buy the Waterborne Adapter :) and thanks for that as well. While installing, the front reverse truck base did not sit properly in the WB adaptor, so i ended up reversing it so that the additional part of the base is reversed backwards. In other words, i reversed the front reverse truck. Is it ok to do that?
well you take off a lot of turning in this way, but it will still work. If you don't have the back railer the best solution should be to buy a regular skate truck for the front (tkp) at least six inch, slide make some cheap and good quality 6 inch tkp. if you have the back railer just buy another rvk kingpin truck. even a cheap one most of them mount it well, you have just been unlucky
Hi! Can I adjust the adapter? I have one with reverse kingpin trucks (from an old longboard) with a cruiser deck, and it seems to be quite unstable. Thank you!
Looks like a nice or the best surfskate adaptator ! ^^ Me i have the Curfboard, Smoothstar Filipe Toledo and Swelltech hybrid, my favorite surf feeling is the Smoothstar, so much fun !
I tried a curfboard few days ago, interesting low ride, seems the exact contrary of waterborn in terms of leaning, the waterborne lean a lot instead. ...a smoothstar should stay in the middle way of those two, I never tried it but it should be similar to carver. ..at the end I realized that is not only about the turn, but also the leaning that work better for your style.
@@SkateTherapy Yes the Curfboard is a good board too for cruising on the street with easy pumping, amazing stability, agility and manoeuvrability ^^ yeah never tried Carver but Smoothstar looks a little more carvy than the C7 and CX for what i have seen with comparison videos on RUclips, the smoothstar lean a little and this is why i like it more than my curfboard because of that better surf feeling, the swelltech is hard to pump and you don't feel stable on it when you don't master surf postures.. I am tempting to buy this adaptator with the back because of that very lean style but i already feel that i have to much surfskates.. and if i don't like it after riding it with the deck i will take with it, i will loose my money and hard to sell it after.. :/
@@Orasium if you live in usa get it, is super cheap, and the feeling it give you on a big board have no equals, if you live abroad like me I must say that shipping and custom make it a bit expensive and having already so many surfskate maybe feel like too much :/ for the curfboard, hiwever I tried it only a few minites, I think it can get a better pumping with an angle riser to improve the leaning and reduce the turn, it will give it more rebound and more difference shifting your weight from back to front.
@@SkateTherapy I live in France.. :/ yeah sure on a longboard that should be fun ! The Curfboard have not the best surf feeling but.. is the best pumping machine for sure
@@Orasium so far waterborne would blow your mind about easy pumping on long distance, but I'm pretty sure that curfboard can be improved and get even better with some customization ..but yes would lose stability as any pumping machine
wow. I have the same oxelo bamboo pintail longboard. Do you think the default rails on that board would work fine? I saw you made your own riser instead of using the rails for the first board you tried on.
the rails will works perfectly, I just didn't had them in the start as they didn't come out yet. For me they are actually the best invention from waterborne, they will improve any surf adapter from any brand.
@@SkateTherapy Hey thanks so much for the quick reply! I just hit the order button and cant wait to try. Made the decision right after watching your video! Appreciate your effort on this awesome video!
Do you have two of these surf adapters? Have you tried putting one swivel on the back as way? Facing forward just as the front one, but truck facing normally.
@@leif-andersbanan5590 first of all there is really no possible need to add more leaning or turn to it, so most experiment that you can see around in this direction, like a cx truck under an adapter are done just for curiosity, but aren't praticals. The adapter by it self act exactly like the swievel wheels of a ripstick or waveboard, in those boards you have a stick in the middle of the deck that allow you to lean the tail in the opposite side of the nose, that's how it turn, otherwise it wouldn't turn at all. As a rigid deck make lean tail and nose on the same side that's what would happen with one adapter per truck facing the same direction, the two adapters would work against each other and the skate will turn like not having them while leaning as hell. ..If I had more time to waste I'd still try :D but I'm already procrastinating many more useful setup and fix I could do.
Im so jealous. Im a skiier and I want to pump my roller skates. I like your technical attitude toward this sport. Im wondering if the waterboard will work on skates. Bont makes a roller skate with a front and back truck.
mm will be crazy, the quads are actually mini skates ..but on a board you pump with both your legs, in a rollerskate from front to back truck you only have your foot involved to make a torsion, look very akward. ..I guess that technically skating with rollerblades is actual pumping, you are pushing sideway to move forward, is the same concept
@@SkateTherapy thanks for thinking about this with me. If you ever watch pro ski racers, they pump like hell, the ski does all the flex, and the side cut of the ski makes the radius of the turn. I also thought about mounting inline wheels side by side on the tip and tail to make it fatter in the front and the back. All this mounted on a ski like frame. By the way ski racers also pump with both legs ...inside edge of one ski and outside edge of other ski
now I'm starting to get it better, you don't really need more turn like surfskate adapter, you need more flex like the pump that you make on a longboard, not upperbody torsion, but pushing sideways. maybe some sort of carbon fiber betwen the shoe and wheel line that produce a rebound when you push sideway, like the protesis of the runners without a foot, now there are even running shoes using carbon fiber to give an extra spring. You would probably need a longer line of wheels to stay stable pumping in high speed. There is a skateboard, can't remember the name now that work like this, If I'll remember I will link it. it would be poasible to copy the same concept. But he skateboard use a metal board betwheen deck and trucks and I guess it would be too heavy for rollerskates
Personalmente penso di aver capito il 90% del video senza sottotitoli, infatti fortunatamente non diventi eminem quando parli in inglese e sopratutto non usi vocaboli improbabili, complimenti come sempre
I wish I could try and compare it with my cheap Apollo surf skate. Although most of the move I make, I can replicate on my board and it feels smooth. Having a visual check doesn't count of course.
if you are enjoying yours that's all you need ;) Anyway this video is old and waterborne has evolved a lot in the meanwhile, but for me the best is just using their front adapter and customize all the rest
Sir , Where can we find the replacement square bushings if it gets worn out over time for the waterborne surf adaptor ? . Nice video by the way :) also how would you feel if you want to compare it to the lower C5 truck from Carver ? . Thanks :)
i have an empty slalom deck - bahne blackhill. which combo of trucks and adapter would you recommend for it? i have a couple of reverse kingpin cruiser trucks and a waterborne already.
yes perfect, however the ideal would be tkp in the front under the adapter and rkp in the back to keep it lower and more stable, wheels from 60 to 65mm
Hello, I followed your advice and got a waterborne surf adapter. 😁 I just like to.ask, what do you think the best size of wheels and what is the best hardness of wheels for practicing surf maneuvers? Thanks
on the first period 70mm 78a is always the best balance, then is up to you if you want to go harder to slide better or keep it soft to be smooth amd grippy, the size can go down to 62mm if you like to be closer to the ground and you don't skate too rough grounds. But until you don't desire differently I would stick with 70mm 78a with a decent wideness and lip.
@@SkateTherapy thank you 😁 I'm currently using Orangutan, off-set, 70mm x 55mm, 78a, with sharp, square edges . I wonder if there is such thing as 70×48 with rounded edges so it slides just a bit so I could replicate the kicking of the tail like in surfing. Have you tried any wheel like that? .Also what is the next harder wheel to 78a? Thank you.
What size board would you suggest the Waterborne Adaptor for? I have a small 28" cruiser with 5" TKP trucks, 65mm wheels, And a 36" Adjustable Wheelbase 25″ - 27.25″ With 7" RKP trucks 75mm wheels?
@@brendan6093 oh is downhill stuff ..mm is a bit a pity to use it for surfskating, must be heavier as the jets are super strong, but sure it would work .. I would say cut two extra holes to get 4 inches of tail extra, but if is in great condition maybe is better to sell it and get something cheaper and lighter for surfskating
@@SkateTherapy uh okay I might have to go for something lighter and more suitable as you suggested, and I kinda really like the feel of my Ned board so I will keep it for downhill use only, cheers heaps
anyway without drilling any hole, this deck is still good to test the adapter and understand what size would you like, from 31 inch to 40 is all good, long deck for making many km on flat, short for park
@@SkateTherapy I just added the adapter to my shopping cart. Now I'm on the fence. Did I need the rear adapter or can I just use my sidewinder 2 in rear ? I'm planning to use it on a Loaded 39" flex2 drop thru deck do you think that will work ? Maybe I need a cover or reinforcing plate for the drop thrue deck? What do you think .... Also what size wheel do you recommend for a setup . Roads are not smooth here . thanks alot I have been thinking about buying this for I while and only after watching your videos committed on buying the surf adapter. I'd really appreciate your input..
@@samsungtv4u the sidewinder will be perfect, will turn more, but feeling more stable, the backrail for some riders feel even too much surfy. For the wheel size all depend from the ground and your style, if they are very good ones you can surf smoothly also over 63mm and they will keep the deck lower
Ciao. I also bought one. When I looked inside the waterborne I got a bit concerned about durability. Do you know if you can replace the inside bushing ?
I guess you can fit it, but it may turn over 90 degrees which is useless as over that point the board don't work, also will be crazy tall and you will need extra riser too ..that's why I never did it
absolutely, in my opinion is the best invention from waterborne, but another very interesting setup without the back rail is tkp in the front and rkp in the back.
Sir , I understand from your video that Waterborne adaptor uses square bushings. Is there any possibility that it can take the regular barrel bushings like if we can cut it into square & put them in ? Thank you. :)
it should work, but they sell replacements anyway, I've been told that an harder bushing doesn't feel significantly different, I think that the biggest change would come from placing a Tkp or a rkp under it, that would change a lot the leaning
just a very boring oxelo, they come with downhill trucks, but they actually have very light and responsive decks perfects for surfskating, specially their fish, you only need to make two extra holes

I'd like to see the setup in action, You will get some crazy leaning, maybe too crazy :) If is too insable just stick a regular truck in the front
how did the setup work? waterborne + reverse king pins? planning to do similar setup but worried might be too high from ground
I'm using my waterborne setup on a 9x34 "Cruiser'. Traditional trucks, 65mm wheels. I have the rear rail as well. Not got the technique of riddin it all down just yet but havin a lot of fun with it.
I just ordered this and just found your channel. Awesome video Sir. Real high quality and great explanation and edit.
Thank you very much for the effort you put into this overview in English. :)
Very nice!
Hey! I live in Israel, just got the waterborn adaptor and put it on my Dechatlon cruiser, feels great, but I defenatly need to get in shape, pumping can be hard.
I found youre video very usefull, ypu explained all the adventeges of the adaptor really nice.
Thank you!
if you like the feeling you'll get in shape pretty soon 🤙
'Spagetthi English' 🤣 Very funny
Thanks for these great explanations and your huge effort!!
The best vid summerizing all the technical aspects of the stuff that was important to me.
Greetings from Vienna!
I appreciate the quality of your videos. Top notch.
Amazing! Thank you for taking so much time and care in explaining waterborne adapter for longboards
Thanks for this vid in English. I just ordered the Waterborne adaptor to use on a 10x30 deck with Bones Mini cubic wheels. I might also get the rear rail if I think I need it.
Did you get the rear as well?
@@ScottMcVeigh75 No, I find with a 30 inch deck it's short enough to turn well without a rear adaptor.
that was awesome, thank you for taking the time to make this video! Cheers
@@SkateTherapy I watched all your English videos in like one day. Your a cool dude
Thanks for your great report! Very good info here!
Very comprehensive. Great video.
Thank you for the video in English! I bought the Scorpio 🤘 Let’s shred it up my bro 🤙
Such a great explanation. Nice work!

very good. helpful in deciding if i should try some carving trucks.
Hi, great video and review man! Keep filming. Just want to know, among the sutfskate brands, which one would you recommend for surf-training? Smoothstar, Surfskate Industry, Waterborne,YOW, Curf-board or Slide? Which of these is closest to surfing? Thanks :)
Hey, your background music's the same as Dead Meat's intro theme (1:33) :D subconciously expected to see some kills ^^
Awesome video I loved the illustrations you did!
Just ordered mine can't wait to use it!
I was going to get a loaded icarus but now I've seen this I'm going to put a surf adapter on my tan tien and post back on here the results
if you use instagram post a foto or video of it with #sk8tpy I'll be happy to share the setup on instagram.com/sk8tpy/
This was super helpful mate! Thanks for your hard work
Thanks for making a video in English! This was really helpful
@@SkateTherapy Thank you very much! incredible content
Thanks for the video, I’ve just bought a waterbourne front adapter and will try it on a pool shape cruiser board this weekend.
I like your English mate! well done!!

Danke schön! So this skatepark at minute 11 is in Barcelona?
yes favencia skatepark, easy to reach by metro or bus and from there you have a long and fun downhill ride till the beach
@@SkateTherapy "smoothness, long distance pumping and chill" sound just my kind of day!!! Thanks!!!!
Also my thanks for an English version
I just bought this! Thanks for your review!
Eh, I will watch 5 episodes of Italian videos with subtitles !

Hello Brother,
Thank you for your video, very informative as usual.
I love the spaghetti English . I got a set an love riding it I just put it on my electic.
Awesome
Great review! Thank you!
Bella li'! This is a very accurate and useful review. Well done
Your English is 👌. Americans love it. Accent of love!!!
Signor, your English is wonderful. Thank you for the review.
Hi! Can I adjust the adapter? I have one with reverse kingpin trucks (from an old longboard) with a cruiser deck, and it seems to be quite unstable.
Thank you!
no, but you can fix your rkp trucks with harder bushings or use tkp trucks instead that lean way less
Looks like a nice or the best surfskate adaptator ! ^^
Me i have the Curfboard, Smoothstar Filipe Toledo and Swelltech hybrid, my favorite surf feeling is the Smoothstar, so much fun !
@@Orasium so far waterborne would blow your mind about easy pumping on long distance, but I'm pretty sure that curfboard can be improved and get even better with some customization ..but yes would lose stability as any pumping machine
no touch my spagetti
Thank you so much, great video. Answered many questions I had.
Really great video!!!! thank -you. I'm going to buy a pair of these adapters
Have you tried the swelltech surfskate?
just once, it is lot of fun and is probably a better surftrainer than the others as it required more balance
Spaghetti English is awesome. Great video.
Your spaghetti english is amazing, good sir.
When I visited Lisa I wished I had my board with me.
great informational video!! Use your hips to start the movement! HIPS! Aloha
Ola, I'm from Portugal, I want to know can I adapt the waterborne on the deck Decathlon Oxelo 540 Carve and the back rail?
the back rail yes, but the front adapter on a cx truck doesn't make sense
Hi, do you think what is the best setup for a cruiser deck with waterborne adapter? Tq
(reserve kingpin or traditional kingpin trucks)
reverse for pumping on long distances and tkp for the skatepark

Sir , Where can we find the replacement square bushings if it gets worn out over time for the waterborne surf adaptor ? . Nice video by the way :) also how would you feel if you want to compare it to the lower C5 truck from Carver ? . Thanks :)
Great video! Thanks
Thank you for the information.
Have you tried the waterborne & rail adapter with a RKP in front & TKP in the rear?
I don't see the point honestly, it's kind of the opposite of how a surfskate work, also you will lean as hell in the front and too little in the back.
i have an empty slalom deck - bahne blackhill. which combo of trucks and adapter would you recommend for it? i have a couple of reverse kingpin cruiser trucks and a waterborne already.
yes perfect, however the ideal would be tkp in the front under the adapter and rkp in the back to keep it lower and more stable, wheels from 60 to 65mm
@@SkateTherapy i was thinking about the oj keyframes
lo useresti su un cruiser da 28”?
si puó, ma non è ideale anche perchè di solito sono stretti quelli da 27, starei almeno sui 30 pollici di lunghezza e 9 di larghezza
Thank you.
Promo code still works, amazing!
Have you try combine waterborne adapter with surftruck like slide maybe? U should try it man!
the slide wouldn't fit, and believe me you don't want any more turn, it would be insane.
sai se questo camion funzionerà su un drp attraverso
si, ma montandolo sotto come una top mount.
What size board would you suggest the Waterborne Adaptor for? I have a small 28" cruiser with 5" TKP trucks, 65mm wheels, And a 36" Adjustable Wheelbase 25″ - 27.25″ With 7" RKP trucks 75mm wheels?
if the 36" have a tail I would go for this one
@@SkateTherapy It has a mini tail. The 36" is the deck size the setup is the Rare Board Co Ned Kelly
@@SkateTherapy uh okay I might have to go for something lighter and more suitable as you suggested, and I kinda really like the feel of my Ned board so I will keep it for downhill use only, cheers heaps
anyway without drilling any hole, this deck is still good to test the adapter and understand what size would you like, from 31 inch to 40 is all good, long deck for making many km on flat, short for park
i learned so much,, thank you
thanks for the feedback, it mean a lot
For the wheel size all depend from the ground and your style, if they are very good ones you can surf smoothly also over 63mm and they will keep the deck lower
which is good trucks size for Waterborne surf and rail adaptor on 33"-34" deck?
at least 6 inch for a tkp or 180mm for a rkp (the standard size)
@@SkateTherapy thank you
Ciao. I also bought one. When I looked inside the waterborne I got a bit concerned about durability. Do you know if you can replace the inside bushing ?
I don't think so, pheraps in the future, it would be very nice for customization
Can I use my CX Trucks with the Waterborne Adapter? Thank you
I guess you can fit it, but it may turn over 90 degrees which is useless as over that point the board don't work, also will be crazy tall and you will need extra riser too ..that's why I never did it
is the rear portion worth buying for 20 extra dollars?
absolutely, in my opinion is the best invention from waterborne, but another very interesting setup without the back rail is tkp in the front and rkp in the back.
@@SkateTherapy Thank you so much sir 🙂 That's quite a relief , though I ordered two spare bushings for me. It's expensive to buy in India.
That truck adapter is like putting rice on pizza
I would say more like putting good mozzarella on a shitty pizza, it make you enjoy a bad setup. More skate and less hate man 🤙
very informative video!
Hey i thought this was an awesome made video, so stok ed!
What brand of deck is that?
just a very boring oxelo, they come with downhill trucks, but they actually have very light and responsive decks perfects for surfskating, specially their fish, you only need to make two extra holes
