This is the only channel that has comprehensive videos about surfskating and really well researched information. Thank you for all the work that you put in!
WOW! Thx a lot for your English! It's great to have eng subs for your technical videos, because surf skates has more less videos in RUclips, than others.
great vid man! Thanks for doing another video in English. We appeciate it. You are one of the very few surf-slate youtubers and most of them just show themselves skating without sharing any knowledge or observation that's why your channel is better :) Best of luck man :)
Thank you for such a wonderful channel :D) I Love the way you explore ideas and develop concepts. Our passion has so few component pieces and yet we can endlessly modify and play with so many parameters in the set up! And you do :)) An especially big thank you for making such an effort to produce English content, it is very much appreciated. I watch all of your videos even though I might not fully understand all of what you are saying it is always wonderful to see your passion and evolution. Thank you and keep up the good work :) Peace Love & Skateboarding
If your aim is carving and longer distance riding, plus some pushing to gain speed - then I think you made the right choice. Everybody has different needs.

Egypt is dead in Skateboarding I really need to rock this place.
stay tuned, we made a setup that just blow away hamboard which actually have too many down side being too high and bad at pumping ..is hard to find the time to edit all the videos, but I will soon
Hey thanks a lot for the video. I'm thinking of getting a swell tech Jamie O'Brien but also considering a YOW. What would you recommend for pumping and working on my surf technique?
the O'Brian is great, it really challange your balance, but still give you lot of rebound so is not too tough. Definitely a better trainer thanthe others.
they cannot be compared as they have different pourpouses, the real question is if you prefer surfskating or an extreme carving. About turning radius and pumping win carver, about stability and pushing win Major arc. consider major arc as the turniest low ride available
Grazie, me li studio.
Is it possible to change the trucks of for example a slide surf skate to trucks with a bushing? Thanks in advance and thank you for the great information!
Bel video!

Sorry, I arrive very late, but it is a good question also for others that may read. The gullwing has indeed a very easy turn, but being the front and back symmetrical and not so radical it stay very far from the pumping power of a surfskate. If you plan to build a huge and stable longboard that can remind a surfboard you should check on this ones ruclips.net/video/uA0HakRRN8k/видео.html&ab_channel=SkateTherapy , which have the benefits of gullwing with a much lower ride and bigger turn, so that if you'd like to walk on your board and do nose manual, it may be a more stable solution than a surfskate truck, giving you the closest turn to a surfskate. If you don't care about stability stick with proper surfskate trucks, there are umbeatable.
which adapter is the one in the oxelo longboard behind you? I own that long and I tried it with miller surf trucks, it was so fun and I miss it... does it give more surf like ride?
carver cx, deck minimum 31 inch, trucks around 180mm. You want the harder bushing they can offer or you can swap them, full protective gear until you loose some weight, and it will happen 🤙 Go for it
definitely not, it's a cruiser with carving trucks, a surfskate should have a very turny front and very stable back, globe made something recicling old longboard carving trucks called revenge, it is kind of a fraud XD

great job: just bought a Yow for surftraining, can I ask your opinion of them for that?
yow is super turny and soft, is a matter of taste
Skate Therapy luckily, I can lock the swivel to turn it into a standard skateboard
Put your hands down than skating, use your hip and knees instead for balancing.
that was for pumping the speed on flat, not for balancing, there are tons of different way to do it, with or without arms and shoulders.
can you tell me more about the slide. thanks
very stable, easy to pump on short speed, not great to reach higher speed, not much surfy feeling as the motion is too linear and doesn´t lean much
@@SkateTherapy Thank you so much.
I like the diamond black look. I was thinking to get it for me. I am a complete beginner. Staying in Thailand and we don't have many options here.
@12:10 what deck and dimensions please?
Sup, man.

Check out Curfboard !
I did, but my video is in italian. is pretty good for stability, a very low ride, but much less surfy
