@@Squished09 hot and cold showers affect people differently. when you are taking a warm shower, you usually want to stay there for long, because the temperature is adapted to the needs of the human body. it's different for cold showers - they give an immediate feeling of refreshment, but cold temperatures aren't suitable for humans, that's why they shouldn't be taking long cold showers. there are people that are building resistance to cold by getting into an ice bath. but if she enjoyed that type of stuff, wouldn't she be showing pictures of her taking an ice bath ? to stay long under cold water, you need cold resistance. that's why i assume it didn't took her long. and if you disagree with my theory, i would love to hear yours.

Hi guys, I love cold shower but I always start with the hot one, because it's better to wash out the sweat. So if you want to be clean and enjoy cold shower you start with the hot shower, use your soaps and gels to clean yourself, and THEN when you are clean, you switch to the cold shower to enjoy the feeling.
I'm not sure if that is the correct method. I have heard that hot water helps open the pores and lift the hair up so it is better than cold water when shaving, but I have not found any scientific studies to back up this claim besides testimonies. Sometimes I like to overcome the discomfort of initially stepping into the cold water and then at the end reward myself by turning the heat up. I am a man for reference and do not know if my experiences with hot water being superior for shaving purposes is unique. Let me know what you think! :)
@@trumangregg6266 Hi, there is no "correct method" per se. But there is a "contrast shower", which point is to quickly change body temperature. I use hot first and then cold, which ends up with hot, cold and contrast shower at the same time (kinda). For shaving: for sure, it's hot(warm) water only. Too cold or too hot and it you will end up with irritation. Regarding discomfort during cold showers: it takes some time to get accommodated to it. Usually a two weeks is a good start. Start with colder water than usual and slowly move it until it cold. Don't force yourself to tolerate it, and, which I believe is the most important: keep breathing. Usually you are so shocked that you stop breathing, and this will make it uncomfortable. At first you will need to force yourself to breathe, but then it will be easy. Also don't stay in the cold shower for too long without much experience, start with a few seconds, and move to a couple of minutes in a few weeks.

I took a cold shower once in winter because our heater was broken. But when I finished I did fog up the mirror because my body was producing a long so steam so.
my theory is that she took a cold shower during winter, the shower room temperature was much lower than her body temperature including the water, hence when the water came into contact with her hot body (lol) the mist started to form.

I myself like cold showers, but to not catch a cold, i turn on warm water at the end of the shower. In my perceotion that would still count as a cold shower since the majority of the shower was cold, but it would also explain the foggy mirror
