Laptop Distorted Audio Fix

This is a break down of how to Fix a Laptop Distorted Audio issue as demonstrated on my Acer Laptop (Note this can happen on any Laptop). With the problem at hand the speakers at random create distorted sound as if the speakers are damaged that comes and goes. This indicates speakers are fine but the issue can make listening to anything on the Laptop really unpleasant. This Laptop is on Windows 10 Operating System.

For anyone using Windows 11, it's the same thing but the layout has changed a bit. When in the settings, click "speakers" (should be the second button, under "choose where to play sound") and then click "don't allow" and then "allow".

Hearing your distorted audio through my distorted audio was an experience. Unfortunately didnt fix the issue.

They are probably blown. Best bet is to remove them and use an Audio Jack for headphones or another speaker to connect.

my audio suddenly got like this after a class and i tried your method too, it didnt work. whenever anything loud is played, it gets like this. i thought my speakers got broke atleast thats a relief

Thank you soooooo much. It flipping worked. For me if I leave immediately after disabling the speaker it didn't work, u have to stay in the menu to re-enable it after a minute or so and it work now :D.

Darn thats a long time. The issue happens in a lot of laptops anoying you have to do it each time but better than rebooting. If you can get a audio driver update from the manifacturer website may also fix it permenently.

PC - Just go to power setting and choose a custom power plan.. Set it to
"high performance" hope this helps .. if your on a laptop set the
minimum process state to 100%
