Btw a tip: In the "sound" window in the first method, double click on your audio device and turn off "audio enhancements" sometimes that can fix it. It fixed it for me and stopped it from interfering with my headphones/driver.

Experimented with an anime opening and it was nice to finally hear without the near constant corruptions that plagued audio through repeated mutes and drops in quality. Hated having to frequently replay skipped sounds every other second in my video watching lately - good riddance, thanks for the help.
Actually what worked for me was that in the levels tab i left the volume on 50 and the buzzing sound was gone! Now i only turn the volume from the knob of my speakers
For me i think the problem is my upgrade in motherboard and drivers compatible with it. It's unfortunate because I liked the old settings. (I 've had awesome sound quality and it was loud AF at 50%). Now no matter what I do, the sound sounds muffled (Don't know how to explained it - english is not my native tongue), like listening to sound under the water, or as if the equalizer is always active on a mode where the bass is really high and the rest is not (even though there's no option). Also it maybe because I don't have windows activated

@@TropicalTech Its fixed bro. I went into the recording tab and disabled just the mic from the BT headset and thats it. Atleast the usual yandex browser isn't switching to the muffled audio anymore. Have yet to try MCC

I havent been able to find a solution to this in months but everything works fine when using headphones. I dont know what the difference could be.
Wireless headsets/earphones are often like this, especially Bluetooth ones. They don’t have the ability to transmit both input and output audio at the higher quality, which is why they will go into a ‘telephone/communication’ mode when the mic is enabled

I love that my audio is PERFECT, until it wants to use my microphone. Windows 11 is TRASH. Had no problems on Windows 10, no problems on iOS, no problems on Android, no problems on Mac, no problem on Linux. But Microsoft wants to tell us its the headphone manufacturer's at fault....

Sounds like it only gets worse when the microphone is active which likely means it’s switching to hands free mode, check if you can turn that back to stereo, if not it might unfortunately be the limitation of the wireless headset
Check that the device is connected correctly. Make sure the correct device is enabled and set as default, some might have two options for the same headphones
The microphone fix is for Bluetooth devices, if you want to use the microphone as well as listen to audio I assure you there’s no fix for that, that’s just one of the limitations of Bluetooth, it cannot transmit high quality input and output audio simultaneously unfortunately.
Definitely sounds like it could be the microphone causing it as I have the same headset. Make sure the mic is disabled if you're using it over Bluetooth as when its enabled it will go into communication/call mode where the headset sound quality is lowered to accommodate the mic as well.

That’s the control panel and it’s been basically the same as that since Windows XP. I used the control panel for the reason you mention about Windows being changed!
@@TropicalTech yes, found another video which shows how to place a link icon/ shortcut to the control panel on to the desktop. Of course MS in their infinite wisdom now also no longer put an arrow in the shortcut icon making one think there is now a file on the desktop, but it's only a shortcut. These coders drive me nuts. I find it so disregarding of users and therefore also user unfriendly. It also reminds me how these days one only owns things partially that one has purchased outright.
@@auzzyboy276 That's a limitation of Bluetooth headsets unfortunately. When in audio only mode they are high quality but in order to transmit microphone as well, the audio quality has to be sacrificed and the device goes into a communication mode. This happens on all Bluetooth headsets, even those that will be $300+.

@auzzyboy276 Yeah defiantly try and check it’s using the dongle. I’m not sure on whether that would cause the same issue, it sounds like it does based on what fixed it. I’d suggest checking with Logitech or see if they advertise it working properly with the mic as well
