Love this Anna, you look so beautiful! The past two years I have been following the farmer's almanac moon cycles for my trims. I also love doing hair rinses every new and full moon! New moons have provided many new opportunities in 2023. I have noticed my hair seems to be growing slightly more than usual since incorporating the moon cycles in my hair care. I love getting dressed up and honoring our beautiful moon. New moon and full moon phases resonate most with me. It's also a lovely reminder to practice self/care and love! 🖤🌛
This topic is so interesting to me. I recently also learned about cutting hair in the summer and winter solstice and fall and spring equinox as representation for new beginnings. This also ties in well to cutting hair every 3 months which works really well for me. I wonder how it crosses over with the lunar cycle!
🖐 I’m in the camp that wants to MINIMIZE hair growth, since I cut my own hair & want to maintain my optimal cut length & shape for as long as possible-and as a novelty junkie, I don’t enjoy any of the maintenance aspects of life-so once I noticed how hair growth varies during certain times of the month, I wanted…no, NEEDED to know what the pattern was! For anyone who similarly wants to make he routine aspects of life easier (AND to save money, if they pay good money for their haircuts), I highly recommend that they cut their hair during the WANING PHASE of the moon (between full moon & new moon).👍
Omg…I’ve been super interested in cycle synching lately & I feel like this relates so much to that. Thank you for sharing!! Going down a rabbit hole learning all about this now 🙈🙈🙈
Hi Anna! I follow the omjournal haircut calendar. It follows the moon phases according to what sign the moon is currently in. It's free- just do a quick google and it'll pop up!
Anna, since you cut your hair shorter can you do an update on health, any difference in structure, update on habits, preferences. Can you see yourself doing it again?
Loved this video (as always)! Also, it would be really cool if you could share more about your spirituality/practices! I know you said you keep them close to you, but if you feel comfortable sharing some stuff, I think it’d make for an amazing and interesting video! 💕
This is very interesting! As a muslim our religion has a very strong connection with the moon and its phases 🤍 mind blowing and amazing how Allah created this world and everything in it with everyone in consideration 🤍
I love to follow the Moon Calendar as a base for my hair care routine. My favorite moons to cut my hair are definetly Waxing Moon, especially when it is in Leo, Libra or Taurus signs.
Ok I was not gonna say anything but you did tell us to comment: the effect of gravity from the moon on the water cycles/ocean, has zero impact in terms of your haircut,. Have you ever heard of the placebo effect?I do enjoy the rest of your hair tips. But the gravity thing...no, I'm sorry. They're completely unrelated phenomena. It makes sense for the farmers almanac bc it's correlated to energy for the plants, and in some parts of the world it may be correlated to the tides and to their export schedules if they're shipping by boat. But not for human hair.

I love the content you share on the new and full moons! The rinses you do are so inspiring too, I want to try some out 🖤
Thx Anna! Any amount you’re comfortable to speak on spirituality I love to listen ♥️❣️🎁🌝

Yayyy love this sort of topic so much! Especially since I’m getting into wiccan/paganism 😊😊
i understand the spiritual attachment. when i take psychedelics i like to keep my hair down instead of in a braid or tied

What do you think about using natural soap made from olive oil as hair shampoo and rinsing with apple cider vinegar?
CONGRATULATIONS GORGEOUS 😊

At what time of the day should I cut them?
What is your hair cut called its STUNNING ❤️
Thank you! I don’t think it has a particular name but I showed my hair dresser photos of Gillian Owens from Practical Magic!
