"Flame Trees" is a song by Australian pub rock band Cold Chisel from their 1984 album Twentieth Century. It is one of their best known songs, and was written by drummer Steve Prestwich and organist Don Walker. It reached No. 26 on the Kent Music Report Singles Chart.

I went to funeral today. This song was played, the most true, honest, and real song that could be played today. RIP Garry Carpenter. The celebrant said; one of the greatest accolades an Australian man can ever achieve is to be called a "Good Bloke", Carpo, you were that and so much more. One of those unsung bastions of strength, courage, resolve.... that makes a world a better place.
