- Comparison of the clip shown at New York Comic Con last year versus the clip in the final version of the episode.
Check out Molly Mcgee! It's a good show!!
It's amazing how different a product will turn out in just one year even if the differences are tiny
You forgot to mention when Scratch was trying to put down Molly saying she wasn't gonna make any friends, in the final version, he sounded more like himself with a slightly lower pitch compared to the NYCC version where his voice was entirely low pitched
I didn't realize how different they were! Thanks for taking the time to post this :]
I did.
@@Otisboy121 👍👏
Wish they didn't take out part with the ghost badmouthing him so they could parallel the students that said them during the assembly.
I’m actually glad it was cut out because what those ghosts said sounded a little cringey and unrealistic.
Yeah, that would've been interesting.
probably cut for time
totally not related to like any of this but HOLY FUCK SCRATCH IS VOICED BY GAZPACHO FROM CHOWDER!! THATS WHERE I KNOW HIM FROM!!
Oh yeah I forgot he voiced that weirdo. I could remember master shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force but forgot about gazpacho.
He's also the voice of Colosso from The Thundermans
Huh, I only noticed the cut scene with the other ghosts. I’m kinda surprised there are few more changes to the finished product.
I wonder why they cut the scene with the other ghosts
@@katievogel4411 I’m guessing it might have something to do with time constraints.
Maybe it was done to make it more visually obvious when he’s invisible to people or not.
Scratch also looks more see through like more invisible
That was the first note
imo he looks better when he’s more transparent
Does anybody hear the instrumental version of "It's a Lose-Lose" from "Scratch the Surface" at the beginning of the sneak peek version of the first two minutes of "First Day Frights"?
*[I had only noticed the deleted scene and the music at the end. Mainly when Scratch yells "YOU WON'T MAKE EVEN ONE FRIEND!!!"]*
Ah! I knew something was different in that Scratch flashback
In the NYCC 2020 "you don't belong here you're the worst of the worst" that would make it easier for him to sympathy with Molly with the extra scene.
The music that played at the beginning of the NYCC sneak peek is the instrumental version of the song about Molly trying to choose between Scratch and Libby from the ninth episode's first segment "Scratch the Surface".
You know I always wondered why Scratch was so hated. He was mean but VERY good at his job before Molly came in the picture. He should’ve been at least welcomed for that. But now I know why. He was a wraith the whole time. The other ghosts saying “He doesn’t even belong here” attests to that. It was probably them being bitter that they’re dead and he’s just a big walking reminder of that. CRAZY foreshadowing even in the first showing.
I'm just a puffy little bunch of bubbles💭
I like how The 2020 version of Scratch is see threw makes him look more ghostly than his current design
Censorship in The Ghost of Molly Mcgee
0:11 Scratch: Oh sh*t
JESUS WILL COME SPREAD THE WORD PLEASE
Idk if I’m right, but I feel like Molly’s skin color was a little bit darker in the NYCC 2020 version.
That overdubbing. It cringes me.
1:12 you missed the arm movement being different from the early version.
0:16 scratch: (echo) aah Molly turn around please.
One sounded deeper. Which was the deeper one?
The first one
The delay is making me wanna destroy my ipad
You didn't mention that when Molly is exiting the room, her backpack isn't on in the NYCC version
Molly s TheMalanka
That echo is so trippy, lmao
A good show indeed!
In 2020, the curse of Molly McGee renamed it original it was released October 16 2020 but it's being moving renamed it to the ghost and Molly McGee its release on October 1st 2021.
0:16 Anyone notice that when in the comic con clip, when scratch is close to molly, his lighting overlaps her? I wonder why they got rid of that.
I would imagine consistency's sake. Clean up takes a lot of work and the less things on a checklist the better. Especially during the age where everyone will post every animation error and blast it on social media. All things considered, this show is incredibly clean for the effort it goes through.
Know What 2020 Is So Cool
Hi My Name Is Jenny Heart
I'm not sure but on one side of this video, is the other side the pilot episode of The Ghost and Molly McGee ?
oh. you meant literally transparent.
I remember when I was in comic con during the time and I figured out scratch had a reflection vs the final product
I hear echoes
Final version is a little more opaque.
I like scratch say in the bath made me calms 0:07
Why is it that every ghost in the show has such a big shnoz?
What does BG stand for?
BackGround
@@woahdood5463 Thanks
Where I watched the episode they left in the "He doesn't belong here!"
Why was the scene deleted again?
The 3 Ghosts agreeing that Scratch is an idiot is not in the final cut
Molly's skin tone looks slightly darker or more saturated in the final
Oh wow I never even noticed a lot of these o.O
i found that in the final, theres a house instead of coming out of a wall
I love the echo
I feel like him being more transparent would’ve been better, because it needs to show that realism of him being a ghost.
ghosts aren't real
@@woahdood5463 ok.
I would like to know the information on the piano music from the nycc version. It feels so relaxing 😌
