So, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is finally here. I’ve spent the better part of a year talking about this game. Breaking down gameplay, and overall really not doing myself any favors with the “Spider-Man RUclipsr” allegations. But that’s because this was a game I was incredibly excited for.
And now that it’s out… I have A LOT of thoughts. On the whole, I do really love it. I think in some respects it’s the perfect evolution of what Insomnaic Games accomplished with Spider-Man PS4 and Miles Morales. But at the same time, I’m a bit conflicted about the game. There’s a lot about it that’s great, amazing even, but also a lot that could have been improved.
And so instead of trying to condense all of those complicated thoughts into a single 10 or 20 minute review and calling it a day, I wanted to really take my time, dive in deep and really explain my full thoughts about Spider-Man 2.
