Quick correction this universe is called the DCAMU (dc animated movie universe). DCAU refers to the continuity started by Batman the animated series in the 90s.
@@TimothyMills77Some back stories suggest that Bruce's mother had suffered with mental illness for a long time before then and Thomas looked after her keeping it secret from everyone.

Dude, Flashpoint is not even a Flash solo story, it's a story that evolves the whole DC universe. Until this day The Flash hasn't got his own solo movie yet, neither animated or live action. The closest thing to a story focused only in Flash's own world was the CW show.

Little correction the DCAU is the Animated Universe that began with Batman: Animated Series the universe with the really cool timeless retro futuristic art direction where Gotham looks like a mix between the 1930s and 1990s while Metropolis in Superman Animated Series is an Art Deco City of Tomorrow inspired by 1950s futurism. These two shows then give birth to Batman Beyond, Static Shock, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited and a few Animated movies with Mask of the Phantasm being one of the best Batman movies of all time. All these projects overseen by Bruce Timm all depicted in his art style that has a very vintage 1930s to 1950s feel to it. 34:23 Mark! 3.6K Thumbs Up + Mine! 👍 You're welcome, and thanks! 😊 Notes: I, for one, appreciate your puns! 😂 Thus far, the live-action versions of "Barry Allen" have dark hair while in the comics and in animation and in Craig Ferguson's "The Late, Late Show" they are blond! I enjoyed Ryan's take on "Green Lantern", toy cars and all! As a live-action movie it shows off Hal's pilot skills better than any comic book or graphic novel ever could! I love the live-action "The Flash" movie for one very simple reason and it is the only live-action movie with both Gal Gadot as "Wonder Woman" and Helen Slater as "Supergirl" in it! The rest is just the pretty frame! Yes, Mera, dresses like that! Her wardrobe, to me, has always seemed to be inspired by the original "Star Trek" series. 🖖 Your dog is still so adorable! ❤
11:02 Mark! Ahem. Quote - There is no sound historical evidence that yo-yos were ever used as weapons; the notion is believed to have been a marketing gimmick disseminated by "Duncan" yo-yo demonstrators in the early years of the company. - End quote!

I don't mean it as a negative to her previous tastes at all.... just that it has captured the essence of being able to let go of preconceptions and just enjoy something and enjoy the story. 9.5?! That’s awesome! I’m so glad Jen loved it so much! It’s one of my favorites. I hope you guys watch the next one in the series, Justice League: War. It has one of my favorite interactions between Batman and Superman. I can’t wait! 😍 😁
The Reverse Flash is one of the best super villains in all of history he lives just to make Barrys life miserable Cant wait for another dcau movies reactions
I don't know what's u clowns problem but flash movie was way better than cejngefuck hot garbage deadpool and wolverine. At least the flash movie had a story.
Gotta love the differences in characters in this movie. Like Harley Quin becoming the villain known as Yo-yo,, and Martha Wayne becoming the Joker.. Or known villains of some heroes working together with the heroes like Black Manta on Aquamans team
Really excited y'all are jumping in on this! Honestly most of the movies are pretty essential by the time you get to the end. But all the Batman movies, Justice League movies, titans movies etc. The only 2 or 3 that could maybe be skipped is the suicide squad movie. But when story elements from that are important near the end. And wonder woman bloodlines could maybe be skipped
16:30 details on that from the tie in comics. Martha became the joker. The design for her is based on heath ledger joker from dark knight movie if you look up Martha Wayne joker.
This was the beginning of the New 52 universe, from there came 16 animated films, all connected, which would be very worth seeing in order. Especially Suicide Squad, you'll see what happened to one of the Flash Point characters, because everything is connected in a single story in these movies.
I would love to see someone of Nolan's Caliber do a Trilogy in an alternate universe with Thomas Wayne as Batman. Movie one could explore this darker, more bitter Batman, who lost a son. Second movie could be Martha as the Joker in that world, which really adds an interesting take on why no matter how much harm he does, Batman just won't kill the Joker. And the third could bring in Flashpoint narrative and ending that reality. Just a thought.
I can't wait to see you guys watch more of these animated DC movies. I hope you guys enjoy the Dcamu ones when you explore that universe. It got me more into comics and introduced me to my favorite character, Damian Wayne.
One thing i loke about the voice acting that i didn't notice for a while, was this is the "torch passing" of supes, bats, and dianas voice actors to the dcau voices. In thia series, bats is voice by jason omara, who i believe is a great successor to kevin.
20:00 specifics is just a minute or two dependinbg on who is writing. only time it lasted longer which is days is if he does his super flare, expunge all the solar rays in his blood cells for a massive heat nova. batman had to pick him up and recharge him with those artifiical sun lamps which took days. outside maybe few hours but at the time 1. he is pretty much human so he can get easily killed in this window and 2. ppl were searching for him so it was best that batman took him in before anyone else good or bad found him in a complete weak state.
I have to share in one of the star wars games Luke Skywalker sitting in a cave with a stormtrooper hed just saved and befuddled he asks "Why did you save me?" to which Luke says immediately,"Because you needed help"
I hope you guys watch all the films, I saw them back in 2021 and I devoured all the films on this timeline. Pretty amazing and all are beautiful connected...
The animated movie Green Lantern First Flight is a pretty good introduction to Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern part of DC. If we neighbors, I'd juts lend you my DVD along with Green Lantern Emerald Knights which I also enjoy. Looks like neither is streaming anywhere right now, but you can always rent it on the usual platforms. Batman/Superman Apocalypse is another good one on Max right now.
YESSSS IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THEM TO START THIS SERIES, the DCAMU is a great franchise in my opinion I love them, I think they’ll have a good journey if they do decide to keep going with the movies
“You’d be amazed what monsters this world can create” this line from Thomas hits knowing his wife literally became the joker n she didn’t have jokers gas at all Holden!
6:20 Professor Zoom. Yea, you can call him Reverse Flash. But I mainly just call him Thawne. Due to how some new fans might get confused when introduced to Hunter Zolomon, Zoom. 8:19 Captain Atom. 21:46 Pied Piper.
I love the red smile on Martha’s face is from Bruce’s blood. Also just think that in this universe Batman’s (Thomas Wayne) worst enemy is his wife who became the Joker. I kinda remember in the comic Thomas telling her that in another timeline Bruce is alive. This was able to get her to help him with what he needed to do. I remember only seeing a bit of it so I don’t recall what all happened.
I'm glad the DCAMU fanbase is still alive. For you guys to have over 40k views in 4 days proves that. I can't wait for you guys to binge watch every movie in order.
minor correction, the Flashpoint Paradox IS a part of a DCEU, its the starting point for the animated movie franchise. These events cause the Justise League animated films, leading into the suicide squad animated films and the recent Constantine animated film.
One of my favorite DCAU movies. Glad to see you guys checking it out. Since the original plan was to do Flashpoint, for the Flash movie would you have preferred to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Thomas Wayne Flashpoint Batman or were you fine with the choice of having Michael Keaton playing 89 Batman?

-Ma Allen: "Grandma told me a prayer. Accept the things you cannot change. Have the courage to change the things you can and have the wisdom to know the difference"
-Barry: "Whoa, grandma was an alcoholic?"
-Ma Allen: "Of course, best things always comes from alcoholic people. How do you think you were conceived?"
-Barry: "😰"
Just to correct Holden...
The animated movies are the "DCAMU"
the DCAU refers to the shared universe of Batman, Superman, Justice League unlimited and Batman Beyond
One of the best comic and movie of the flash. Having Batman and the Joker play out that way was so genius.
I hope they continue with this universe and watch it all the way through, loved it
34:23 Mark! 3.6K Thumbs Up + Mine! 👍 You're welcome, and thanks! 😊
Notes: I, for one, appreciate your puns! 😂
Thus far, the live-action versions of "Barry Allen" have dark hair while in the comics and in animation and in Craig Ferguson's "The Late, Late Show" they are blond!
Your dog is still so adorable! ❤
Everyone knew Reverse Flash was going to be a criminal when his first crime was skirting the lines of Copyright Infringement on The Flash's image. Lol
11:02 Mark! Ahem.
Quote - There is no sound historical evidence that yo-yos were ever used as weapons; the notion is believed to have been a marketing gimmick disseminated by "Duncan" yo-yo demonstrators in the early years of the company.
- End quote!
It is really amazing following your journey and seeing how it allows Jen (mostly) to be able to enjoy a movie such as this.
I don't mean it as a negative to her previous tastes at all.... just that it has captured the essence of being able to let go of preconceptions and just enjoy something and enjoy the story.
It speaks to your journey and it speaks to your willingness to be able to embrace what others see in this kind of media.
The dcamu is my favorite universe, so happy you guys are diving into it!
19:11 Mark! Jen, a belated "Gesundheit!"
This whole animated film universe is quite good! Hopefully you watch most of them, because only a very few are worth skipping.
They have to watch Batman: Under the Red Hood beforehand though
The dc animated films have the best portrayals of the dc heroes!
Agree!! This is why I prefer animated stuff over live action such as Clone Wars/Rebels version of Ahsoka than her own show.
17:00 The annual full name call.
HOLDEN THOMAS HARDMAN!
23:43 MY LEG!
31:44 Well, Reverse Flash is the literal reverse of the Flash... colors included! 🤣
Jen should Watch the 2 Animated Green Lantern Movies before Watching the 2011 Green Lantern Movie!
Remember when you wanted to flip your pillow over to the cold side but it was also warm? It was me Barry.
Loved the reaction!!! Please keep continuing, here’s the DCAMU movies in order

9.5?! That’s awesome! I’m so glad Jen loved it so much! It’s one of my favorites. I hope you guys watch the next one in the series, Justice League: War. It has one of my favorite interactions between Batman and Superman. I can’t wait! 😍 😁
Yess!!! SO glad y'all are getting into the DCAU!
WOW, I'm surprised at how much Jen liked this! Looking forward to more DC animated films!
The Reverse Flash is one of the best super villains in all of history he lives just to make Barrys life miserable
Cant wait for another dcau movies reactions
A lot better than that godawful Flash movie that came out last year!
If Flash was just a live action version of Flashpoint Paradox, it would’ve been better.
It wasn't even bad per day. It's just Ezra millers rep and the weird CGI at times hurt it bad
@@ZarrarAAli Ezra could’ve been a saint and still not better than animated Flash
@@Kickinthescience lop you are the same clowns who liked hot trash deadpool ad wolverine 😂😂
I don't know what's u clowns problem but flash movie was way better than cejngefuck hot garbage deadpool and wolverine. At least the flash movie had a story.
Let’s go!!!!! You’re gonna love these movies. Gotta do them all in order. It’s a lot of fun.
Nah the “my leg” caught me so off guard😂😂
I'd recommend watching Green Lantern: First Flight, it is a great introduction to the character.
DC animated movies this is my dream come true I can't wait for you guys to see some of these DC animated movies they are great
I’m so excited for this journey! I hope you guys continue into the Tomorrowverse!
Great reaction. Your wife is amazing and thank you for bringing her to our world of DC animated movies.
Hope y’all do all the DCAMU, would be cool. Order is online, even has its own wikipedia page!
If you all are going to watch all the movies spawned after this I can’t wait to see your reactions to Justice League Dark Apokolips War.
Gotta love the differences in characters in this movie. Like Harley Quin becoming the villain known as Yo-yo,, and Martha Wayne becoming the Joker.. Or known villains of some heroes working together with the heroes like Black Manta on Aquamans team
16:18.... The moment Ms Jens expression started to change I started thinking "yes, she's getting it", just to be immediately followed by "D'oh!" 😂😂
13:43 “that popped out of his ring” 😂😂😂
You should definitely have Jen watch the TV show Grant as the flash was perfect
Gool reaction video as always! Love you guys ! ❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰
I recommend that you both react to the Flash tv show from the CW or at least watch it. Grant Gustin is the best Barry Allen flash in my opinion.
Wow 9.5 from Jen!? Didn’t expect so glad you guys liked it!
As a long term DC nerd, Jen’s reaction to the wider DC universe is fantastic.
One thing i loke about the voice acting that i didn't notice for a while, was this is the "torch passing" of supes, bats, and dianas voice actors to the dcau voices. In thia series, bats is voice by jason omara, who i believe is a great successor to kevin.
That reaction @16:04 priceless 😂
20:00 specifics is just a minute or two dependinbg on who is writing. only time it lasted longer which is days is if he does his super flare, expunge all the solar rays in his blood cells for a massive heat nova. batman had to pick him up and recharge him with those artifiical sun lamps which took days. outside maybe few hours but at the time 1. he is pretty much human so he can get easily killed in this window and 2. ppl were searching for him so it was best that batman took him in before anyone else good or bad found him in a complete weak state.
Im so excited to see yall watch the DCAU, in my opinion these movies are awesome and almost on par with the og dcau
the DCAMU was great! Hope you are able to do them all and catch the connections between them.
DCAU is the bomb 🔥 fire asf and would recommend watching the whole Universe in order!
The animated movies are pretty great tbh so watching it slowly in order with be a nice change of pace
Yess im here for this Please dont stop here !
“You’d be amazed what monsters this world can create” this line from Thomas hits knowing his wife literally became the joker n she didn’t have jokers gas at all Holden!
Bruce's mom became the Joker!!!!
Good reaction “dreams are messages from the deep”. They aren’t completely clear yet 😉
6:20 Professor Zoom. Yea, you can call him Reverse Flash. But I mainly just call him Thawne. Due to how some new fans might get confused when introduced to Hunter Zolomon, Zoom.
8:19 Captain Atom.
21:46 Pied Piper.
He calls himself a comic book lover yet didn't know a lot of things.
AT 17:00: HOLDEN THOMAS HARDMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MY LEG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
minor correction, the Flashpoint Paradox IS a part of a DCEU, its the starting point for the animated movie franchise. These events cause the Justise League animated films, leading into the suicide squad animated films and the recent Constantine animated film.
31:17 “There was a lot of the characters that were straight up killed, I thought that was great 🤓”😂😂😂
One of my favorite DCAU movies.
