Nice improvements. I can afford a brushless system yet. I did put the hobby wing 1080 and a trailmaster motor in mine. I need to get some brass but I can't afford that right now either. Lol
I actually put 1.9 HYRAX on mine for a video.
That 1080 Holmes combo is the best brushed setup you can get in my opinion. I couldn't afford the axe either had to steal it from another rig lol 😆

Now all you need is a silent steering servo 🙉 and a real V8 motor sound that goes with the throttle control 👍👍
There isn't a better upgrade than an axe system only to be improved with a Reefs servo. Same upgrades I will do to my k10. 3300kv is overkill but the 2300kv looks perfect
The 3300 would be a rocket in high gear. Is was totally happy with what the 2300 did for it. Still using the stock 10 t pinion too
Man that rock crawling really scratches up the body and underneath parts. But with that motor and ESC setup it crawls really slow quiet and it looks sweet

Yup. This will be my next rc purchase. Plan on using the new Furitek 10 sized outrunner and esc with it.

Axe is awesome, had it on my gen 8 and it’s been smooth and quiet! That reef servo seems good, I recently put a directly powered hh servo on my gspeed build and loved it. Another great video and enjoyed it

Now that it’s well upgraded you should do a video with a normal trx4 Vs this lifted beast showing what lines a normal trx4 simply can’t do that the k10 can thanks to the lift 😁
The K10 is slowly becoming the competitor to be taken for the Cheerio Challenge '22🤠🤘 But the scene with Crawler Kitty shocked me deeply🐯😱😂

Practice unlocking the rear diff with slower speeds on climbs helps a ton. Also change one of the axle gearing nice build thanks for sharing

I had doubts about the K10 on the rocks but not anymore. You hit the sweet spot. Definitely not out classed now.
It really is a competitive rig now. I'm not sure which made the biggest impact but all together it is now a beast
So much nicer scale driving with the brushless, gotta go nice n slow like the real thing. Way to go with the black, Nice video pal and great truck.

Noob question here - when you did the brass portals, did you also do any offset? Wondering if that would help with the stability for 2nd gear?
I have some cool lines at a local hiking trail and a few of them today had me wishing for the k10… just needed a little more ground clearance for some perfect slow crawls 😁
How much better? in my opinion? Night and Day man. Huge difference. She looked beautiful goin up? AND coming down. lol I guess it doesn't take long to get over scratching the body. Great video and the perfect combo. That axe system REALLY helped for this rig too Thanks for sharing guys. Definitely another fun one

Yes, but nothing some weighted wheels and some brass can't handle

Cells are about 3.8 v after 35-40 min run time
