Just got my redcat fusion and turned her loose at a comp with Cutler canyon rc. We'll worth the money. Had a blast with it. It is a strong rig. Only upgrade I put on it was new hyrax tires. This rig will handle anything you throw at it.

You guys ever try the s1 compound canyon trails? Think it’s much softer than the stock compound, it’s their comp compound. Stock canyon trails are incredible but the compound is really hard compared to jconcepts or proline compounds… wonder if that would make them even better 🤔

Had my LNC for over 15 years,. Never once thought 'I need to tame the flex'. They like loose. They like to sit a bit lower. Straight tube links on bottom work much better. They like 5.0" to 5.5" tires. Stock shocks with 30wt oil and springs barely on seat. Let it work. 1800kv fusion is awesome for it. Put a plug in the front and rear diffs to add grease between servicing. It likes front weight (hub weight). We are about to have three OG night crawlers operational. I made an adapter plate to put a scx10 compact transmission in. Works good with a 14T pinion. That's on our #2. Our #1 has a bunch of HOT Racing parts and rear steer with 35kg servos. Both of these are running 2.0 SE exocages and both are in the process of getting JD Speed CJ bodies to fit over that exo. My non-monetized channel is HOT Motorsports and you can see boring videos of our night crawlers (and others). I love my truck even if it seems to make most obstacles 'easy'. Nothing can replace it. The #3 is planned to be nearly stock and we will try to keep it on stock tires.

Still think these are so underrated one of my favourites to drive I've upgraded a few things steering servo aswell makes a big difference great run Jason always enjoy a good nightcrawler vid 👊

the ascent was better i think the sam result would happen against the high trail also very top heavy.redcat seems very good .traxxas needs to do better give us more upgrades for free i would buy a redcat and upgrade it and would be even better than the trx4 at same price .the high trail is even more ..redcat seems like a way better deal and bang for the buck .traxxas seems over priced now..thanks for the video

Sure is a great truck, I almost put the body on my traxxas 6x6 cause was not a fan of the Benz body, if they bring it back and it’s not to big of a new price I would get it always love your version best so well put together ☮️✝️😎🙏🏽

Hey bud. Nice truck. I have that same winch setup. I ran the cable line and it snapped on me on my own truck weight. The rope is a lot stronger than the cable. It wraps up around the spul perfect

Great run there, last weekend I was trailing with a guy that used a winch. Made me think agouti getting one. Also you can bring your front bumper into the chassis a little closer, that can help with some approach angle Happy trailing

Which model winch did you choose? The 16mm or the 19mm? Considering this for my Ecto and am not sure which one to choose.

Great video! I just picked up a Fordyce. It’s my first Vanquish and I love it. I’ve picked up a Fusion SE for it so far. Trying to decide on wheels and tires. Now I need this winch too. Are you using the stock radio?

In my experience so far, the synthetic winch line is definitely the better option. It’s a lot more forgiving. Looks like a pretty stout winch though!
