Awesome! Curious about the history of logging up the Fork Run watershed. There was a short line railroad up the road and into the Ntl Forest up there, and many of the existing cabins along there were for timber and/or rail workers, I am told. (PS. This is Mike from Fork Run, you did some gravel for us)
FYI You just need an account, not a "Channel". Though, I suppose your account is a channel automatically, should you chose to publish videos.

The road was the RR grade and some the camps next to it were for the train men. I think your camp was one of them but I am not certain. I will do some research and get back to you. I recently made contact with a former old time Kellettville resident who is a treasure trove of information he may be able to help.

Ok Mike this what I found out. The road was the old logging spur that went to a logging camp up near the forks of Fork Run. In 1940 when the Tioesta Dam was built there were no buildings in the area, it was pasture. After the town was condemned by the Corps the house that is you camp was moved from the Kellettville townsite to it's present location and sold as a camp. The entire building was moved in one piece. The family that owned the land then built several of the present camps with lumber salvaged from buildings torn down in Kellettville and sold as camp lots. I got this information from a grandson of the family that originally owned the property. He also told me the approximate location of the logging camp. So, sadly no the area does not appear to have been a train man's camp.

@@terryjanosik4522 Wow!!!! That is some great information Terry! I can't wait to tell my dad. We were watching all of your videos down in Arkansas last week on our fishing trip. He was blown away, totally.
But was there was still a railroad that went up the valley for logging?
Edit: Missed the word spur in your original comment, I assume that is a little rail branch

That was the state highway bridge. Going downstream on the left bank below the bridge there were a couple of farms. That stretch of of the creek is subject of a future video.
