- Weekend VLOG! We had such a relaxing time camping out in Cook Forest State Park. Pennsylvania is breathtaking - the trails were so nice and it was wonderful to get to see so many mushrooms in the woods. I can't believe the colors are changing so much, being a Texas girl I have literally never seen anything like it.
We made it to New York now !!! and just got back from dumpster diving - so that video will be up soon. Stay tuned! As always, thank you so much for watching and I hope you have a wonderful day! Happy diving xoxo

OMG DUUUUUDE! I got so damn excited when I heard you were at cooks forest! That’s not too far from me and the mushroom growth is insane. I am certified in wild mushroom identification and I work as a field biologist who searches for fungi (the underground organism) to use for medical research
If you end up in Pittsburgh area HMU! Or an hour or two away. I’ll help you two find edible mushrooms and would loooove to show you the hot dumpster spots. I don’t get out so much anymore with diving

There is something truly magical about standing in a old deciduous forest in the Fall. The right puff of wind brings hundreds of colorful leaves cascading around you in near silence. Definitely a bucket list item! Aspen forests are quite the same with their quaking leaves.
Living vicariously through you two!!! What I wouldn't give to hang with y'all for an afternoon. Truly great people!! :)

I cannot thank you enough for taking us along with you to the state park, it brought back a lot of memories for me as I grew up in PA and my parents moved the family to FL when I was 13 back in 1989 . I have missed seeing how beautiful the forest was. Thank you both so much 💓.

Awwww, me and my family used to go to Cook Forest to camp and sometimes for family reunions. Pennsylvania produces the most mushrooms in the world! Glad you enjoyed my state. Hawaii rent a VAN, take air mattress, a light blanket. Just camp and sleep in the VAN. Most beaches have fresh water showers outside but still can swim in ocean then wash hair and clean off. Did that back in the 90s. Great cheap way to travel Hawaii is expensive. Love your travels

I grew up going to Cook Forrest every summer with my family. We always stayed at Macbeth's cabins. My Oma would go mushroom hunting too. She learned to forrage as a teenager in Germany during the war. She passed from COVID last year and we're planning our first family trip back down there in years to spread her ashes where my grandpa's were spread. I love that you two got to enjoy a place that I have so many wonderful memories of!

It is so lovely to watch and listen about the mushrooms, so interesting. My late Mom inlaw was very clever with finding mushrooms that could be eaten and what could not.

Vermont is nice if you like the bright colored leaves. If you go to Alaska make sure you have the right tires for your truck. Snows early. 😆
