You can never go wrong with Bob Seger . May I suggest you react to another Bob Seger banger Shame on the Moon , a chill Seger song , and Roll Me Away a robust Rock song. Fabulous especially with his Silver Bullet band . Great reaction btw !,
Rock is an amalgamation of Blues Soul Folk Country Bluegrass it’s was basically born of all the music we heard with Artists taking their own influences and creating a voice of their own. We loved them for their ability to be authentic in their sound, while recognizing the influences that got them there . ☮️
Yeah you need to listen to the song "OLD TIME ROCK AND ROLL" yeah he can Rock but he does a lot of music that sounds like this and it sounds great!! Keep up the good work man. Probably SEVEN SPANISH ANGELS, GREAT SONG
Hey Mug, you are on a roll man. Over 102,000 already. You were homing to make 100,000 before the new year. Good honest, heart felt reactions will do it ever time.👍🎄🎉🇨🇦😊
When you look at guys like Seeger and John Mellencamp two Midwest boys they defined the heartland of America from sea to shining sea. Just woven into the fabric of America.
I think that country music has veered much closer to pop in the time frame since this was released. It (country) was still a bit more traditional back in the early 80's, I think the movie and soundtrack Urban Cowboy helped with the pop transition. Great movie if you want to check it out - the music is fantastic!
Chuck Berry influenced. Absolute perfectionist and would take years before releasing an album. Check out his live versions of Nutbush City, Old Time Rock n Roll, Rock n Roll Never Forgets, Betty Lou’s Getting Out Tonight, travelin’Man / Beautiful Loser, Bet Out OF Denver or Katmandu for his rockers.
Seger had some sentimental ballads,bro-- but he wasn't Country. You just happen to be picking the ones that fans dig that are ballads. Back in the 70's & 80's,alot of bands scored huge hits with their softer, ballad type songs. But the core of their work could mainly be rock. Dive in and you'll find plenty of upbeat rockers. T
You are miss construing today's country to country of the past. Today's country has more in common with the rock of the past than the country of the past. Seger songs were completely different than the country of the day. Seger was strongly influenced by Detroit Motown and a blues radio station he could pick up at night from the southern states
This song is filled with all kinds of soul.
Check out Bobs"Old time Rock and Roll".
Nobody makes a one night stand sound more appealing! Bob is the best
This is classic rock
Bob Seger just had a way of telling a story. The epitome of an old soul. P.S. He’s from Detroit and you can hear the Motown. Forever fan. ❤❤❤
Bob was pretty smooth with it!
Seager WAS rock and roll at a time when THIS was considered that genre. At the time, the Eagles were also rock and roll.
Absolutely love this band!! “You’ll Accomp’ny Me”!! Is still my favorite!!🤘🔥
The whole “Stranger In Town “ album is amazing ❤
Check out The Famous Final Scene, Roll Me Away, Horizontal Bop, Betty Lou and Feel Like a Number. And about 50 more.

@@karenpowell6063 agree 💯
@@kitcatsaunders yet another ballad. He needs to hear some of Seger's rockers, too. T
If you want to hear a rock version of Seger, then listen to “Hollywood Night’s”, “Old Time Rock and Roll”, “Roll Me Away”, or “Like a Rock”….
Katmandu, Shame On The Moon,Old Time Rock and Roll will give you more of the Rock side of Bob Seger!
He's definitely more of a *Rock & Soul* singer. All of his music is a vibe. Only Bob Seger can make pickup lines so enticing. 😆
Bob Segar is amazing! He’s got such an awesome voice and so many great songs!
Back then the radio played everything. It was a little payola but you got a taste of everything without changing the dial.
He,s an old time Chuck Berry influenced rocker. Rock n Roll Never Forgets, Beautiful Loser, Her Strut and more.
"Turn the Page" is my favorite! 🤍 Bob LOVED movies & they had a huge influence on him, hence his storytelling...

Try Seger's Hollywood Nights next. It rocks.
I had all his albums on wax growing up. Against the wind is a great!
The sweetest sounding one night stand song ever
If you want something more rocking try Get Out of Denver or Katmandu
Heartland Rock and Country Music are like cousins.

Soft Rock!
Yeah you need to listen to the song "OLD TIME ROCK AND ROLL" yeah he can Rock but he does a lot of music that sounds like this and it sounds great!! Keep up the good work man.
Probably SEVEN SPANISH ANGELS, GREAT SONG
Kenny Rogers and Sheena Easton did a fantastic cover of this song.

Kenny Rogers sings it to. It is very good to if you haven't heard it.
Those old songs sure make you think about things!
Bob Seger recorded it first. He wrote it. Kenny Rogers covered it along with Sheena Easton.
Bob's classic rock. Try some of his earlier stuff. Traveling man/beatiful loser, from his live album.
Soft rock is the genre.
Just because someone is R&R doesn't mean they can't do a slow song every now and then. Listen to Her Strut to hear Bob speed it up.

Still the same. My favorite.
Bob Segar
Come To Poppa
You’re only listening to his softer stuff. Keep listening.

Black people aren't the only ones who have soul!

It seems most of you reactors have trouble distinguishing what is country music.
There is nothing remotely country about this.
Get out of Denver. Katmandu more up tempo for sure !!!!
