@YestoHawaii, I really enjoy your videos. You have mentioned this store before so many times. ABC Stores, Can You do a video on the stours maybe do a tour one of them. Thank You!!
I can really relate to this. I live on the NorthShore of Oahu and in Maine in the summer. Groceries on Oahu are typically about 50-100% higher than in Maine. When on Oahu we try to use Costco and or Walmart for the big grocery runs and the foodland in Pupukea for missing items.
From Canada 🇨🇦 near Vancouver! Love the Hawaiian islands and looking forward to visiting again this winter. I enjoyed this new style of video. I would say on average, food on the islands is typically more or the same as here in Canada, plus we have the exchange rate (but the steak and egg price was insane!) . But your cheese is also less $ which I appreciate.
Grocery bill is nearly identical to what I pay here in Bay Area, CA. I've stayed in all four major islands of Hawaii for my vacations and I stock up on groceries and pre-packaged foods from Costco.
Mariam very informative video. I am from Puerto Rico and the prices there are similar. Keep up the great work you do. Going to Hawaii in April, can't wait.
So in the Detroit metro area eggs 18ct usually will run from 3.75 to 4.25. The tuna pks run $1 to 1.35 depending where you shop. A weeks worth of groceries for two runs about $80.00
My husband and I went to Waikoloa last October. We noticed the grocery and restaurant prices were very similar to the prices here in AZ. It's expensive to eat everywhere now. We ad shop more than ever and dine out less frequently. I will say, in Waikaloa, we never had a bad meal. The food was outstanding.
Very interesting video! The prices do seem higher than here in NC. I thought this was kinda funny, I passed a man leaving the grocery store this week. He looked at me and said "I'm stronger than I used to be, when I was younger I couldn't carry $50 worth a groceries at one time." Thank you for another fun and interesting video. Your cousin in eastern NC, Mike
I love that you did this video. Eating out everyday gets way too expensive. Do you have places in Hawaii to buy groceries but they are owned by locals (instead of big corporations) and sell local products. Not talking about the farmers market. Thank you.
I live in wv and this isn’t too far from what we pay if not cheeped depending on the product but I never shop at target for my groceries. At least here it’s way more money than at Walmart lol
When I stay at an airbnb or cottage, I always buy cheap sharp knives for produce. You can save a lot buying whole fruits and veggies. We rarely eat breakfast outside of the house. These prices are comparable to Boston.
Hawaii is expensive. I was there a year ago and most things were more expensive than in Vancouver, Canada. I like Down To Earth, the health food store and Foodland at Ala Moana Center but they are a bit expensive. I don't mind paying $12 for a pineapple because the Hawaiian pineapples are delicious. In Vancouver they are $5-8. Papayas at Down To Earth are a lot cheaper than at ABC. For 2 weeks I don't mind eating less and losing some weight. The only thing that bothers me about Honolulu is that there is no good bread. Where can you buy the best ahi poke? Hopefully, i'm going back within a couple of months
Hello Mariam. My name is Robert. I met you today at the International Market Place. I approached you while you were with your friends, and I told you how much I love your show. I now live in Las Vegas, and I am starting a RUclips channel of my own. I was wondering if I could add your show to the list of RUclips channels I think folks in Las Vegas would like to subscribe to if they want to know where to go. Being a new RUclips channel, I will understand if you do not want me to mention your channel. I really love your show and think you are even cutier in person. Mahalo Robert

Great video groceries gives us a better understanding and budgeting when travelling to Hawaii ❤
Great realistic video! I know this will be very helpful to many coming to Oahu!! Good job! Aloha!

This is awesome! Great information. Prices seem pretty similar to Southern California.

Costco is a must! It's crazy they have the same prices at most of the locations

This is very helpful. Thank you!
Not bad prices compared to Las Vegas. Depends where you shop.
About the same as we pay in San Diego
Pretty similar to here in Georgia. Reality. ❤❤. Great video
Coming from Australia everything was expensive but being on a island i can understand the prices
Thanks, I would love to see more prices, great for budgeting.
Yes girl more day in the life locals perspective!
Those prices are very similar if not the same that we see in Arizona. Very interesting.

My son and his family live in Hawaii Kai and do most of their shopping at Costco
Cant wait to land on the island... 2nd trip is coming up in May.
GREAT to know
Are prices at the Target at IMP same as the Ala Moana location?
Better than New York City price. Especially bagel 😂

Honestly, pretty similar to Kansas City prices 😂
About the same as here in Texas

The prices are comparable to Chicago. Except for meat and eggs… whoa!
Other than the steak not that much more than groceries here in Oregon. Some of your items even cheaper.
Not much different from WA state, either.
So funny. Our targets have no groceries
Bellingham WA Target has groceries!
This made my wallet hurt. Shopping here is killer...You really gotta be frugal about it
