Mahalo for this video. I always see Ryder on the RAH Fishing channel catching fish with Nick Morris. I didn't know he had a kulolo dessert. I'll have to take my family there. And since I just saw Ani's Bakery featured on another channel, we'll hit that place, too.
You guyz always Rocken it.....Pearl Ridge Lunch trucks & Kehau's is diffidently a favorite...and of course I gotta have an Ani's butter roll with my Morning coffee..Soooo ONO!!
Happy Monday…technically Tuesday morning Foodie Ohana! I LOVE those spots. There is nothing like eating local and eating hidden gems. I appreciate you finding all the best on Oahu. I can’t wait to go some day! Love you guys!!! 🤙🏽❤️🥧🌴
Hi Amanda and Felix. I have been going to Ami’s Bakery for years. That key lime pie looks amazing. The chocolate pie is one of our favorites. Thank you for the video. My husband loves their chocolate long john. The other places are new to me but they look awesome. Blessings 💖💖🙏🙏🌺🌺💖💖 You are in my old hometown - AIEA 13:20
We went to Ryder’s back in September after the Swap meet. Originally went there for their Kulolo Sundae, but ended getting poke. Glad we did. Will go there again the next time we’re on Oahu.
Thank you for posting such amazing videos featuring local shops! Headed to Oahu next week and I’m looking forward to trying all your recommendations!! Mahalo!! 😊❤
That Ryder dessert looks so delicious! What is going on at Anna Miller's these days? When we lived in Hawaii back in the 70's that was our go-to place after a late night out - macadamia nut creme pie was my fave. Glad to hear it is still around. We also used to go to PCT for dinner - first place I ever had octopus when they brought out pupus, was shocked to realize what it was, but it was delish. They still had the monkey bar, but the monkeys were behind glass by then. It was a special occasion place for us, kinda pricey, but I loved the stuffed whole lobster. That's gone now.
Hi to the cutest couple on RUclips! You hit it out of the ballpark on this one. Ryder's is the epitome of locals helping locals. Wonderful eatery's featured today. Thanks for sharing your channel with the world 💫 we'll be be watching!❤
My friend has been trying to buy food from Heaven, but keeps missing them when they are at Pearlridge. Hr loves their fiod. I shared your video with him.
Hi A & F - hope to visit in the spring! Quick question - do any of thel (mom&pops) small resturants deliver to the Waikiki area/hotels. I would love to partake in these places, but unless you have a rental car - how would a visitor get around to these places? - thxs for any suggestions. 🌸
Aloha Renee! Mahalo for your interest and wanting to support small businesses! If you’re in Waikiki area, the most affordable would be to catch the bus🚌 tons leave the Waikiki area to head towards Pearl Harbor for the memorial or Pearl ridge mall which is all in this same general area! (I used to do this all the time before I had a car😅) If you want to splurge you could Uber it as well! Hope this helps you🤙🏻
@AmandaFelixEats thxs for responding! Once this election is over, I'll jot down a couple of places mentioned on your channel, and coordinate my transportation with The Bus, maybe the Trolleys?! Thxs and don't forget to vote! 🌸💙.
Best bet you would have to google the restaurant and check their website if they have one. Since most are mom and pop they would not have delivery. Yelp would be a good start. As Amanda responded check da bus route schedule.
Can you do a video on hidden gems in Kapolei and Ewa? We're coming to Honolulu in December and staying in the Ko Olani area and don't want to eat in the hotels :).
Julie’Z, Broke Da Mouth Grindz, Sushi Bay, and Thursday nights at Wai Kai would be my suggestions to research in that area. Hope you have a great trip!
Dessert First ! You got it Amanda ! Love those Pie slices ! Simple & delicious breads ! Yummy ! OMG ! Wow ! Humungus Poke nachos ! Amazing Poke & I love teagu ! Hidden Gems for sure ! Truly an Amazing Time ! Have a great week Amanda & Felix ! "Foodie Ohana "
BEST poke nachos are from Island Style Grindz on the Big Island. Being a food truck, I have to follow them on IG to find them when I’m on the Big Island. Totally worth the drive!

$8 for a slice of pie 😢 what is this world coming too
you know the majority of the cost for that pie slice is labor.
The slice is huge though, easily for two
