I just started to use university path in my city un Lets play together 5 and its good!
For the trucks I also started using garbage path a lot in lets play together 8 but unfortunatly all that region is broken 😢 very sad and my best cities of my entire playtime are there.

Yes. Very unfortunate. I can't get into Let's Play Together 8 as well

👍road tech i like to use:
1) low density paved road to make small roundabouts without traffic lights
2) oil drill service road for delivery truck only separated paths
3) university road or tram tracks for pedestrian only pathways(bridges are nice also)
4) free paint curve road tool for cool impossible bridges/tunnels(some buildings have a smaller hitbox than it looks)

Hooo yes the 4th suggestion: I also started myself to use the free paint roads in Lets play together 8. But to make some nice straight lines between turns, I set the camera square in parallel to the city and use the keyboards arrow to go North, south, east and west than use mouse just to make turns than go back to the arrows. It stays a bit annoying some times but its wayyyyy better and making way more complex bridges
