Cheers mate, yep took it straight to the tackle shop after this session to send it off for service and bearing replacement. Hopefully that will sort it out 🤞
The kayak snapper mosh pit begins 😂. I have been lucky to experience a few fired up snapper sessions. They are littuarly like piranha, they were so thick if you didn't get hit in 30 sec you had to wind in and reset. We hit the double bag in 2hrs with a 57cm and 52cm each releasing all other +40 size keeping under 40. They were mostly mid 30's, i think was only 2 undersize fish caught in the session (that close to 28cm we called it under). I like no more than 1-2 big fish vac sealed in my freezer for special occasions. Big breeders are more important than the smaller ones. Its amazing how with in days of the year they are in the same locations. I keep track with photo dates a fishing diary would be good to keep as well.
Haha the mosh has been happening for weeks now 😂 yeah this year the fishing started very late, last year we were seeing them in mid to late September but this year they didn't really turn up until mos October.
Haha cheers Ropey, just lucky that it floated for me! My mate had the same thing happen with the exact same setup and his got dragged down to the bottom to never be seen again 😑
Felt sick when I saw the short vid
Glad you were able to retrieve it.
Off for a good service now I reckon
