@@mick270 no mate but as far as I'm aware there isn't any seller with Australian stock of this new model. Makerfire are very efficient at posting and will actually deliver. Thanks mate 👍 I'm going to show the ins and outs of setting one of these up for speed runs in some upcoming videos but of course not after I have had some fun for myself 😎. Making the build videos sucks but I have some good ones coming soon 🤞
@@TheRCMaster I love this car but thinking about getting a lc racing truggie and selling my mini E-Revo for the funds but over a hundred bucks difference might end up with this
Nice run! About half that temp here! I mentioned you in my unboxing video today and I was right on the money on my guess on the speed! I said to people I thought it could hit 80 or 90 with the stock I am looking forwards to converting mine to brushless, come monday got new castle setup arriving and going in. Nice you showed the stock gearing, I've converted my 124018 to run on castle 5700kv and should speed run it on sunday, it's a lot heavier than the 124019 though. Look forwards to the next run of yours
Awesome mate I'll definitely have to check it out 👍 thanks for the mention! Yeah these things go very well on the stock gearing as it's already quite a tall ratio. Perfect for a high kV build so I wanted to show that they are quite capable "as is" 👌 can't wait to see you lay down some speed runs with yours too mate. I'll check out your 124018 build too it sounds wicked 😎
very cool...did you add grease to the diffs? does your radio have a gyro? i like this buggy and the shorter version one... i hope they offer brushless stock setups soon... i would be very happy with a version having top speed of 40 mph on a 2s that had a gyro for great high speed handling on a dirt track... again very cool...was that a 3000 pack? thanks

Hello bud I have a question about 12/14 wltoys stock plastic gear. I've found it is faster than the upgraded metal one, isn't it? I've tried it on my 144001 that originally did 88 on 2s and 109 on 3s and it downgraded the speed to 86/106. I see that here you use the stock plastic one, and I was wondering if you do agree: the metal one is heavier, makes the driveline slightly harder to turn, that requires more torque to do the same job and thus the motor will spin slightly slower.
Old stock matrix racing 1/10 touring foams. You can't really get them anywhere as they haven't been manufactured for a long time. They are 26mm front 30mm rear 37shore

@@TheRCMaster Fun and inexpensive! Plus I've got all winter now to throw something together. What's your plan for your 144001? Do you have a goal for it?
@@TheRCMaster They look fun. To be honest I like my Slash 4x4 GT the best but I want a little basher to take with me in my car for when I might have some unexpected RC time..hahaha. A speed build might be cool too.
It depends what your going for if you're serious about speed you're going to drop at least $400 -600 aud on a good electronics if you just want an average speed you could find a cheap combo for as little as $150 AUD
I will the inner part (wave box) with the spider gears up with 500k silicone so it's very close to fully locked or I lock them with hot glue or super glue gel if they are slightly worn. Then inside the main diff case around the outside of the wave box I used 10k and a little bit of heat prof grease on the drive shaft end gears where it rides on the crown wheel
@@TheRCMaster Sweet! I've put 40k I'm mine but it's not enough I don't think. I've got 500k aswel but I thought that would be too much 🤦🏻♂️ thanks for the reply dude! I'll post a video of mine when it's done. Running mod1 gears 👍🏻
Nice. So this ESC can handle up to 6S on 120amps so I assume you are only using 60Amps on 3S. I want to see 6S for the full 120amps of power. Btw, how fast can 144001 stock tires go before popping? Thanks for sharing. 👍👍😁
It's a high kV motor so it's pulling some serious amps if I want to run 6s I would have to at least half the HV to less than 4000kv. Definitely something I want to try 😉
@@danyfpv4776 yes mate that should be solid on 3s with the right batteries 100mph stock gearing . The thing is they are an adjustable kV 😊 I'm pretty sure timing set at zero is around 7000kv. The timing is adjustable by unlocking the set screws and turning the motor and the pointer on the can it can be advanced (more kV) who knows where it ends up in terms of kV but it's probably around 8-9000 the only way to tell is the get a kV measuring tool. It could go higher but when you put timing in it becomes a amp hog and will chew power alot more 🤞
Surpass is pretty deecent bang for buck especially the 120a esc with the 6900 kV would be good but the cheaper stuff will always be very large compared to something higher quality. I don't have any links atm for any cheap electronics for sale but I'll keep an eye out
@붉은호랑이I was wondering why people are always asking stuff I covered in the video!? Now I understand it's actually because it's a different language 😂 I hope you can get the information you need mate!

Sweet man🤘 it really didn't look that fast though 🤔 but it did sound very unbalanced. I wish I could join in but there a bit too expensive for a few extra cm's on the chassis, maybe if they get cheaper🤷♂️ I'll chase yah down with my 144001😉
Yeah I felt something was off so packed up shop after those passes I didn't have any patience to suss it out roadside because of the heat, the motor mount to chassis was loose 😅 lucky it didn't cause any damage but it definitely held it back on this run.
