Hello Renee and the Z crew. Thank you for another Z crew video, in today's thumbnail you ask "Why you are having such a hard time sailing these days?" The answer is simple if you take another look at Ts 3:07, your answer is right there. There can only be 1 Captain on deck ever! When there are two, there will be confusion and "hard times". I know Keith is the Captain on Zatara!
I cant tell you how sad this journeys end has made me. I've watched your guys for years, when the kids were actual children. What an incredible life you guys have lived travelling the world

In answer to Kate's question... I used to think the answer was Hawaii. But alas, it's changed and not for the better. I spent 3 months in the Philipine Islands years ago and I loved the place. 7000 islands with many, many incredible beaches, super friendly people, delicious food, and fantastic musicians.

Banana bread it is! SO simple. SO easy. SO quick. SO tasty! I just use a potato masher on the bananas, followed by a wooden spoon to mix the incredients.
Cast iron pans are great! German pancake recipe, made with eggs, milk, butter, salt and flour:
Ingredients
Original recipe makes 6 servings
1/4 cup butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
6 eggs, lightly beaten
1/8 teaspoon salt
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) while you’re mixing the ingredients.
Melt butter in a medium baking dish or cast iron pan.
In a medium bowl, mix flour, milk, eggs and salt. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish or cast iron pan.
Bake on center rack in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until golden brown.
Variations: Add a dash of vanilla and/or cinnamon before mixing for a French toast taste. Great with a touch of maple syrup! No additional butter needed.
We have watched a few Sailing Channels on YT, but hey the good ol yellow brick road leads up always back to the Zatara Crew. I wish I had been able to travel more, but I became ill. I'd have traveled to all the beautiful places you have. I'm fortunate to have grown up in Chicago and it was a glorious place to be raised. I have lived in Florida, on the west and east coast for 23 years now. Always right by the water or on the water. I would say this was my favorite place because it's where I chose to settle. I've loved all of the midwest and I've seen a lot of it. I really enjoyed NOLA with all the deep history, both good and bad, and the celebration of life and death there. It's just such a cool place. I've only been to Mexico via a cruise ship LOL. I never got to travel abroad but I watch and learn as much as I can about the destinations I would have visited and the cultures. You have given your children an invaluable experience. They will cherish it for a lifetime.

Sorrento Italy. Easy to do day trips, but I have a soft spot for Italy!
My favorite place was Guadalupe. I haven’t been since the early eighties but the beaches were heaven on earth. I’m sure now it has been Westernized to the point I wouldn’t recognize it. Safe sailing to the Zatara crew. I just love that you take us along. It brings back such fond memories. I grew up cruising and carried on the tradition with my own family but now I’m land locked in my retirement.
I am a native Floridian. I love Florida and hope to never leave. I've traveled most of our USA, many places a few times. I did a 7 country European tour and my fav there was all Italy (Florence, Venice, Rome). But still my fav is Florida. Lots of issues though with cost of living here, RE taxes, property insurance, car insurance, etc.😢
I haven't been many places but i loved when i took a road trip to thunder bay ontario. The scenery is just beautiful.

Just binge watched some of your older videos. I wanted to see your transition from a monohull to catamaran. We vacation sailed about many times now with another family on catamarans. I was only on a monohull once with my daughter, and our friend - Girls trip to get certified. (The heeling was scary.). Anyway, I love the way your family interacts with one another. It is so real, and it brings back memories because we interacted pretty much the same way especially in the beginning. Also, we have been to many of the same places in the Caribbean, and French Polynesia. Like you, I recorded videos, tried to get my kids to act in them and did more of the cooking while my husband and our friends sailed and fixed air conditioners and toilets - Even rentals need TLC. Blessed Regards and Happy Sailing.
My favorite Caribbean country, I have been to is Jamaica. I spent 1 day in 2020 there on a cruise excursion.
My favorite place I've been is norway. My family and I did a two week road trip down the coast and it was amazing

Keith, I've had some problems with the MicroAir soft start failing due to high heat. It may not be your AC unit. Suggestion to troubleshoot...disconnect the soft start and see if your AC functions normally.
