Ive owned consoles from all the main players over decades so im no fanboy but tbh i much prefer how Sony handled this generation with 1 powerful console with or without disc and the slim model being able to add a disc is perfect i wish that was the launch version! But the beauty of consoles is that 1 set specs devs can optimise for, MS having a powerful console and significantly less powerful console does make things harder! Devs hardly get any extra RAM in Series S than the prior generation thats a big issue! Imagine if all they had to consider was PS5 and Series X that would make things better for them and us, hopefully GTA6 turns out amazing! At least Rockstar can purely focus on the consoles 1st then sort PC later so we should get a well polished product at launch i just think Series X only from MS wouldve been the better thing imo.

I'm a series s enjoyer and have to admit that u think the series s is responsible for this current generation of games not being fully optimized for these consoles
And not cross gen? There's like barley any current gen only games and obviously the first few aren't as optimised compared to as the generation is running. Ue5 tech demos (matrix demo) all ran on series s at lower resolution. If there's a ps5 exclusive that goes beyond anything we see on Xbox so be it but until them I'm not convinced. I do agree though they should be optimised for those two machines first and then be scaled down.
i think the series S is the console for most people a lot of childs have an series S or will have an series S so so not having gta in that console should be bad for sales for rockstar

I hope that Rockstar and more studios stand their ground like Larian did. With crossgen era finally ending, the feature parity policy is Xbox is simply no longer feasible due to Series S limitations. Xbox console and games sales are very low, they're not really in a comfortable position to make demands like that.

Oh and did you know Xbox series s is also responsible for global warming and war lol
i think the series S is the console for most people a lot of childs have an series S or will have an series S so so not having gta in that console should be bad for sales for rockstar

The real question is can PS5 handle GTA6. GTA6 will be the first big title where XSX's power advantage really shows.
They basically have the same amount of power. The S doesn't & future Pro versions of each hopefully will let us run the game at 60fps
There will be parity between them just like every game

I hope that Rockstar and more studios stand their ground like Larian did. With crossgen era finally ending, the feature parity policy is Xbox is simply no longer feasible due to Series S limitations. Xbox console and games sales are very low, they're not really in a comfortable position to make demands like that.
Actually, I believe Series X versions would probably be a lot more optimized if the developers didn't have to split resources into two platforms. Time spent on developing Series S version is time not spent optimizing the Series X one.
