Still better graphics than Pokémon.
I have beaten this game 3-4 times over the 10 years I owned it on Vita. It's an amazing experience. Genuinely a 10 out of 10 for me. Even the weakest part with the dungeons doesn't detract from the game as they are still engaging with the combat. The story is perfect with some of the best arcs in the franchise. Can't say enough good about it. Must buy game.
This is still my all-time favorite RPG. Just an absolute masterpiece!
I played through P5R for the Switch, then immediately restarted it again because it was that good. When I get done with Strikers, I'll probably start this one. Hoping there's a physical release for this and P3P by then!
these characters feel like real friends by the end because of how deep the characterization is. this game is a masterpiece
Still my favorite Persona game
I know some of us are too young to remember, but It was because of P3's and P4's success that P5 was a AAA release in the first place. P4 was particularly successful after the breakout Persona 3. Persona 3 saw three unique releases (FES & P3P), while Persona 4 saw the game perfected with the Golden variant. All this before Persona 5 was a glimmer in the eye. Persona was already mainstream. P5 was a beneficiary of the franchise's mainstream success, not its progenitor.
Having spent over 70 hours in P5R since Christmas and loving it, this one has been on radar for ages given its popularity online. Looks right up my ally
Is the song at the end "ill face myself "
This game was the reason I got a PS Vita and it was worth every penny. Followed every bit of Persona 5 news in time for the release on PS4 and now I'm hearing rumours of a Persona 3 full remake in the works 👀
I played this for the first time after Persona 5 and fell in love. This was during the height of the pandemic when no one could go anywhere, and I wanted to throw myself into a game as a bit of escapism. I got the Platinum trophy for it and I look forward to doing so again!
Hands down my favorite video game of all time. I've never been so immersed in a story or game before or since. P3 and P5 were both great, but P4's intimate small-town setting and focus on overcoming typical insecurities of young people, rather than world-ending predicaments, makes it the standout for me.
I’m always happy to see so many people excited about my favorite game of all time it honestly changed my life when I was about 12 so it just makes me smile so many other people can experience it
My first Persona, I completed it in PC. Thoroughly recommended for anyone that wants some JRPG goodness.
The soundtrack is probably my favorite video game soundtrack of all time! It's so damn good and I listen to it on repeat for hours. 😎😎👍🏼
I really love the other Personas but this one will always be my favorite. I grew up with it 😍
What makes persona 4 golden so good:
I can't wait to hear "Every day's great at your Junes" from Nanako once again 😅
The music, the art style, the characters, everything is so good! I finished P3 two times, and P5 once, now I'm playing P4 and it is an amazing experience. Can't get enough of this series.
The last JRPG I had played was Final Fantasy 7...when it was NEW. Also I've never been much into Anime at all. So when I grabbed this game on Steam (mainly because it was on sale and all the reviews were calling it "one of the best games of all time"), I didn't really know what to expect and it was a massive change of pace compared to what I normally play. It took quite a while to get into it but ultimately I ended up loving it and now I'm halfway through P5 Royal.
